I went with my parents. Overall, I was satisfied with the historical building, rooms, various baths, and friendly staff. Since it was the off-season, we were able to use almost all the baths as if we had rented the entire place, and most of the baths were clean, except for one family bath that was not in good condition (mold on the wooden tub and floating debris that made it impossible to take a bath). However, all the other baths were satisfactory. The variety of free snacks (milk, yogurt, ice cream, snacks, and late-night snacks) was also a pleasant experience. Even the cosmetics such as shampoo and lotion provided in each bath were really satisfying. The dinner buffet had plenty of food, but the consistency of the menu, which consisted of shrimp and fish tempura/grilled dishes and beef stew, was very heavy and consistent... It was difficult to finish even with a drink... ㅠㅠ The cost of alcohol was even higher, with beer costing 1500 yen per bottle. The location was also good. Shuzenji Temple, bamboo forest, and village public baths were nearby. Since the town was so small, we were able to see everything in about an hour. (There was a place marked as a nearby plum tree forest, but it was not recommended as the trees were dying and neglected.) All the staff were very friendly. There were staff members who spoke English and Korean, and they provided guidebooks in different languages, so there were no problems with using the facilities.

The meals were luxurious and delicious, and the clean and spacious rooms were comfortable. There were many types of baths available, and the private baths could be used 24 hours a day without reservation. They also provided coffee and ice, and we were able to enjoy oden in the evening and late-night ramen! It was amazing! However, even on the first floor, there were many stairs and steps, and the long corridors were a bit difficult for my 75-year-old mother with bad legs.

The dinner and breakfast are very delicious, the service is thoughtful, there are large public baths and outdoor hot springs, as well as free private baths and outdoor hot springs. There are also delicious late-night snacks, unlimited coffee and milk. I sincerely recommend everyone to experience a one-night stay with two meals.
