Slightly below expectations”

Our stay was OK. This hotel had more staff on duty than the number of guests while we were there, but only one of them spoke much English. Mahasarakham has a large university population, so we expected there would be more than one person on staff who can speak English. Mold growing in the grout in bathroom. Building maintenance seems a bit lax. Only a few TV channels worked, none in English. WiFi was a problem getting started, but once I solved it by rebooting the nearest router, it was OK. Taxi drivers in Mahasarakham charge more per kilometer than drivers in Ubon, Khon Kaen, Korat, and other similar Thai cities. No decent restaurants or even a 7-11 near the hotel. Hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Sermthai Complex (shopping mall), which was doable without much sweat near sundown at this time of year (late November).

Stayed 7 nights. Large parkinglot in front of hotel. Close to Big C and city center. Rooms are clean and incl. necesarry ammenities.

Good Value Hotel”

Rooms are clean and we'll serviced. Location is out of city Centre but close to university and shopping centre's (big c and sermthai). 7-11 and some local food stalls close buy. Nice coffee shop (Coffee in Mind) not too far from hotel.

Hotel is set back from highway 213 15 min walk to big C and 5 min to a small night market and 7-11. Standard room is large with big balcony comfortable bed and large bath. TV has only Thai channels and WiFi very slow. Room could be more clean especially floor. Frequent songtaews on highway go to bus station during the day. Taxi available (must phone) but always refuse to use meter (100B at night from town to hotel)

The hotel is clean. The lobby with TV, sofa, newspaper. The room is large (Grand Deluxe), comfortable. But the location is too far from bus terminal/city. If no driving, not recommend.

New nice, quiet & clean. ”

It was a very nice & quiet hotel far away from downtown. It was very disappointed for not having hot water in cold season. The cold water can not heat up with small heater. It was nothing around hotel. Need large water heater.

Better available nearby”

Older hotel, not at all what was expected...even for small city in Thailand Mold in bathroom, shower water not drain, cold. Chairs in room uncomfortable and wobbly. Bed only so so ... When raining can't get inside without going through roof run off. Staff did find I was forgetting my own pillow..had to get from car as hotel pillow stunk. Of course this was when checking room to be sure I didn't take anything. Oh yeah... On my visit.. No English. Thanks to Google translate or I would have been in smoking area me thinks. Bottom line, check around nearby.. I did for second night in town.

Decent hotel with matching service”

for wi-fi you have to ask for a login code at the front desk. they advertised DVD player in every room, but this is not true. There is none. breakfast is B100 extra, and doesn't have much to offer - so if you are expecting a treat, you will be disappointed.

Totally boring, T.V on has Thai channels, nothing to do in the hotel, fortunately I was mobile, so spent very little time there, other than to sleep.
