Great accommodation close to the city center”
This place is quite new (at most a couple of years old I guess), very well maintained, and with plenty of car parking. The friendly staff only speak Thai, with a few basic words of English. All the guests during my stay appeared to be Thai people. It appears there are two sections: the downstairs rooms are for daily occupation, and the upstairs rooms are for monthly rental. However when I enquired during my visit, the monthly rooms were fully booked out. Not surprisingly, as the place is spotlessly clean and has all the basics one would expect in the typical Thai "residence" or "mansion" style accommodation (not to be confused with similarly named accommoations in other countries). People who have stayed at places like the well-known Smith Residence in Chiang Mai know the concept. The room layout and amenities are similar. My room had a large bed with firm mattress (as is normal in Thailand), a working desk with a decent-size TV placed on it but enough space for the laptop too. A cupboard for clothes etc., a fridge. Bathroom had good warm shower. Note that at this time (May 2022) Roi Et does not have Grab taxi service (they do have Grab bikes and deliveries). So for people without their own transport, this could be an issue. There are a few taxis in town, but then you'd have to call a taxi each time by phone. There is a Grab webpage where they list the cities in Thailand where they operate, so if important check that for any changes. I asked reception to call me a taxi (to go to Udon Thani) and it arrived within 20 minutes or so. A good car with an excellent driver. Overall an excellent place for those looking for clean and basic accommodation in a central location in Roi Et: recommended!

Very clean ”
Pretty easy to find. Quick and easy check in and out. Rooms are a good size. There’s a refrigerator and kettle in room. Shower had hot water. Air con worked well along with free wifi. Staff was friendly but lacked English. The owner called me a few times to check in on me. He spoke English. There’s a Tesco mini and a 7-11 5 minutes away in opposite directions. Hotel is very quiet. There’s a small balcony that is screened in so make sure the door isn’t locked if you go out on it. It would be nice if they had motor bikes for rent as there are not a lot of taxis or tuk tuks. There were a lot of tiny ants in room . The toilet doesn’t flush properly. Poor design. It flushed like a urinal. The tv had no English. The tv had no capability for English on the dual audio channel. Perhaps it’s an old tv? I would stay here again.

Comfortable and quiet”
We have stayed at the Waritthon maybe 10 times. Using Agoda booking, I always request a lower room. The staff always respond within 10 minutes and always have our favourite room reserved for us. Last night it was almost full but we still got 'our' room. Excellent service. Waritthon is a great location to reach anywhere within or outside the city. A simple, no frills, immaculately clean, quiet residence where we will stay any time we visit Roi Et.

Just usual hotel. Great car park. Good for overnight sleep at Roi At. Bed is a bit too hard, but I'm fine with it. At a time I booked there was no breakfasts. So I just bought some fruits on a night market nearby, and after fast fruits breakfast continue my trip.

Convenient Location”
We have stayed in Roi Et 6 times but never knew about this hotel. Compact rooms with small but adequate bathrooms. Nice to have kettle, coffee and crackers in rooms. Would probably stay again but would be improved if breakfast was available. Good restaurant end of street but closes early. Good car parking.

Far exceeded my expectations”
The hotel is new, modern and sparklingly clean. There were some really nice touches too, like a hot water boiler, and complimentary coffee and crackers in the room. Great shower, hot and good pressure and the staff was super kind and helpful. If I am ever in Roi Et again I would stay here for sure.

Residence Inn with 2nd and 3rd floors for long term stays.”
I like being on a top floor and was a little disappointed when the receptionist said 2nd and 3rd floors were only available for long term stays. I stayed in room 104. It was clean and quiet and had a nice outdoor sink to do laundry. I would have preferred being closer to the lake but was happy with the facilities.
