I used this hotel for my first solo trip. The amenities were well-stocked and there was a coin laundry, so I was able to travel with less luggage. It's close to the nearest station and within walking distance from Kyoto Station, making it the perfect location for sightseeing in Kyoto. I recommend getting a one-day pass. Before my stay, I saw a review that said the staff at the counter were unfriendly, but I think that may have been because many of the staff were foreign exchange students. While they may not have been as friendly as the lady who showed me to breakfast, they were very kind and even dealt with rude foreign tourists who cut in line in a firm but polite manner. Overall, I had a comfortable stay without any major complaints despite being a novice traveler. I would definitely use this hotel again.

I stayed for 4 nights in September. The staff were friendly and professional. The condition of the large public bath was also very good, with a sauna inside. There were plenty of towels available, and on the second floor where the public bath was located, there were many coin-operated washing machines, making it convenient to do laundry. There were also vending machines for drinks and ice cream, as well as foot massage machines on the same floor. The lobby on the first floor was spacious, and from 2 pm, when check-in begins, the drink bar is available for unlimited free use. The rooms were relatively spacious compared to other nearby business hotels, and the bathroom was very large and satisfying. If you request it, the cleaning staff will clean your room every day, and the lobby staff are available until 11 pm, so there should be no problem if any issues arise. In my case, there was a problem with the card key on the last day, but it was resolved in just 5 minutes. The only downside of this accommodation is its location. It is about a 20-25 minute walk from Kyoto Station, but if you take the Karasuma Line and exit from the No. 3 exit of Gojo Station, the hotel is just a 3-minute walk away. There is a large convenience store nearby, and across the street, there is a 24-hour mart and a 100 yen shop. There are also some simple restaurants if you go to the left of the hotel. However, there are many bus stops nearby, making it easy to get to major tourist attractions such as Kiyomizu-dera and Inari Shrine. The breakfast was excellent value for money, with everything from the basic meal to dessert included. It is also quiet at night, as there are not many bars in the area. There are also some good cafes nearby. With so many advantages, the price was also reasonable. If you can overcome the location, which is just one stop away from Kyoto Station, you can confidently say that this is one of the best value-for-money hotels in Kyoto. Although there were guests of various nationalities, including Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, Americans, Europeans, and South Americans, it seemed that there were only a few Koreans staying there, despite the fact that there were good explanations in Korean inside the hotel. It is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Gojo Station, making it easy to travel by subway. Best hotel i’ve stayed in Japan”
We stayed for 3 nights in Vessel Campana in Kyoto and it is easily the best experience I’ve had with hotels in Japan. The hotel provides very good facilities, including a public bathroom which we enjoy every night, a samue in the room which I’d love to buy one, comfortable twin beds with city view. We don’t need to commumicate with the staff much but I’m sure they are helpful. I’d definitely recommend to buy the subway with bus included card. We buy it at the nearby station which is absolutely convinient. The hotel is close to a metro station and many bus stop. Definitely stay here again next time :)

This hotel was recommended by my friend who has stayed here. It’s close to train lines and there’s a 7-11 around the corner and also across from a drug store. This hotel does supply toiletries to grab in the lobby, but if you need something else like contact solution, you can find it with ease. The room has shampoo, conditioner and body soap available. The room was perfect for a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable. They have a special pillow that is interchangeable: soft, firm (buckwheat?), or double up for high. The room was clean, they supplied pajamas and in room slippers and also slippers to be worn within the hotel. There’s a shower/bath combo tub, bidet, clean towels and hairdryer in the room. A valid key card will allow access to your floor and to the 2nd floor for the onsen, laundry room and vending machine room. I have never gone to an onsen before, so I had to look up the etiquette. I believe tattoos are not allowed. But the tub in the room is pretty deep and there’s good water pressure to fill up quick. The laundry was a big help especially when I traveled light and it was raining so I had something to do. It was ¥200 for wash, ¥100/30 mins. Usually in Asia, people hang dry their close. I think the machine in the room was a dehumidifier. Overall, I’ve had a great experience here and would recommend booking.
