This hotel is in a great location surrounded by street food stalls and convenience stores, with easy access to tourist attractions. The staff is friendly and excellent. The clean rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and kettle for food and daily room cleaning at an affordable price.
The hotel needs refurbishment and poor maintenance. Some facilities in the room are not well maintained. The rooms are dirty with smelly towels and bed sheets.

If you don't mind the stains on bedsheet, towels, ceilings, bedframe and etc., and a smaller room size, then this is good and suitable for people with budgets. Hotel pics are shown for great illustration, also the reason why I chose this round, but the moment I came in, disappointment already struck in. Even my 3 year old doesn't feel comfortable. Aircond is warm even we left it on for hours. Informed the front desk but was treated with a poor attitude lady. The guy was good enough and helpful trying to ease and think of solutions but the woman was terrible and rude. Parking shaded especially is extremely limited only for about 3 cars.. you got to park at the opposite which is still fine. Location is in the middle though, close to everywhere.
been to v-oceanfor many time. main attractiveness is the location. near the tourist sport but the area is not too touristic with a lot good food around with local pricing. bed is comfortable and shower is ok. but the hotel getting really old, wall are stain with marks, furniture veneer is peeling off, glass door is off track, aircon condenser is noisy, so is the fridge. need some maintenance. a coat of paint is good for the images. but overall is still value for money if u don't mind the appearance and perception of the RUNDOWN looking room. remember the glorious day when the hotel is new, that was many years back.
Everything else was just okay. There’s parking but limited. Lobby on 2nd floor and there’s total of 7th floor building with lift service. The reason i gave 3 stars because I know i didn’t place DND sign on the door, my room was cleaned and thanks to that, but my towel has been taken. Just because my towel also white and looks like Hotel towel which w this hotel it is entirely different towel texture, size, colouring, the housekeepers didn’t check it. My towel is new and only use for travelling, it was entirely white and huge. There’s a mark of marker at the edge of my towel. It brings me lots of memories as the towel only use for travelling every twice a year. It just dissapointed when they cleaned the room and was not unable to find my towel that has been taken. They replaced it w their towel, new-white, but not the same as mine. It is expensive towel but they just ‘couldn’t find it’. I hope the housekeeper and have a good ownership by checking instead of only taking n cleaning. Kinda like ‘im just doing my job’, to love your job, you need to be responsible and have integrity. I appreciate the ‘replacement’ towel but not appreciate it to the max because my towel much bigger, softer and thick. So disappointed bcs they can’t find it even after i talked to them the same day my towel was taken.
We stayed 4days 3 night in V Ocean Palace. On the first night we spotted a lots of bed bug were biting my nieces body, we thought only a few bed bug but noticed like they were a lot never ending. It was really horrible we went to the hotel staff and asked to change room in the middle of the night ans we hav 3kids this really ruined our holiday! To add on the toilet also not very clean, you can see clearly the stained there around toilet bowl.

“Affordable Price, but Cleanliness and Maintenance Need Improvement”
For my recent stay in this hotel. l would like to share my experience. The price was quite affordable, and the location is decent, though parking is limited. However, I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the room. The bed sheet had stains and a slight smell, and the air conditioner, which seemed old, emitted an unpleasant odor and took a while to cool the room. It’s likely in need of servicing. The bathroom was the worst part of the stay. The ceiling had mold, which was green and appeared to have been there for quite some time. When we first checked in, the bathroom floor was wet, and it had white stains all over. Additionally, there was a hole in the floor trap, which was not acceptable. While the room itself was affordable, the cleanliness and maintenance need significant improvement. Mold can be a serious health hazard, and I would strongly recommend addressing these issues to ensure a more comfortable and safe experience for future guests.
