"The hotel is very clean, big space room, everything is out of our expectation, its like 5 star hotel. Highly recomended to stay here. This hotel at prime location at downtown los angeles, near convention center, staple center and shopping mall area. Will come back here to stay for sure..."

"This hotel is excellent for anything at Staples Center. Its a short walk across the street. The hotel itself is ok. Pros: clean rooms, very nice staff. Cons: worst check in of any hotel I have every stayed. One person checking people in after waiting till 3pm, then a line of at least 30 people to get the keys. Finally they added a second person. I was there at 2pm finally got keys to the room at 3:35pm. Overall a nice place just bad check in policy. Be prepared."

"I like this hotel, you feel safe with the higher standard group of travellers, after staying with other hotels in Los Angeles."

"For a traveler to Western side of Los Angeles area, this is an ideal location, unless one has to go to the busy West LA and downtown area during the rush hours. The place is fine in almost all aspects. Inexpensive family restaurants are also near by. I chose this place because I had a planned visit to UC Riverside, and indeed I did not have much traffic problems starting from here (basically along the I-105 Fwy). This was much better than my last time from Westwood to Riverside, which was a nightmare during daytime! "

"Firstly, the staff are very helpful. They assisted me with several inquiries throughout my stay, and at all times they did so with a smile. The room was very clean and quite large in size, or large enough for a couple anyway. The location is good - just a five minute walk from the subway, which can get you to anywhere you need to go in Los Angeles. The breakfast in the mornings was adequate - cereal and various hot foods, but the eggs and sausages weren't very good. Overall, for the price paid, the hotel is great value and is in a fantastic location."

"Couple things that were not expected at the time of booking this hotel. Per Mikado web-page and Agoda listing, this hotel offered free parking and free breakfast and that was reflected in booking confirmation. The booking was done on February 7th. At arrival on February 22nd we were informed that free parking and breakfast are not available starting February 1st. Well, the parking fee is quite descent, $5 per night and because of they did not informed us correctly in advance of free stuff, we’ve been offered one day complimentary breakfast. Thanks to lady at front desk. The room was clean and nice, the hotel location is convenient, staff is friendly and polite. The issues with lights in the room were quickly fixed after we informed front desk. Agoda price per night for this hotel was the lowest what was available on line. I would recommend this hotel but make sure what is really included in your booking. "

"This was a good choice for a first stop when travelling through. I only thing was the parking the underground parking was only for cars and we had 3 vans 14 seaters so we had to shuffle them around. the hotel was helpful though but if we stayed longer would have been a hassle. Good clean hotel for our group of 32 mixture of adults and kids. Pool was awesome great big size and depth. Brekkie was good too "

"They need to have black towels. Sine they wanna charge for any little drop or spot on their towels. Or their sheets. Never heard this before. Make you not wanna wash your ass. They need to say that in the description of booking policy. And I’m sure people will bring their own. And you say 2 people at the time of booking. But they say they charge you for extra person if they aren’t there at you time of check in. What if you spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend is working and will be there later. But without ID. they will charge you extra. Totally wrong and stupid if you ask me. But beside that the place was nice and clean "

"I have stayed here before, and choose to stay here again. It is one of the hotels you always see on movies from the scyskrapers in downtown LA. Spectacular view from the hotel room, clean and many stores and restaurants inside the hotel. Tastefull beer from the brewery in the same building, and friendly staff all over. "
