"I was here for my birthday this year and I truly, truly loved it. The place is beautiful, it is well placed so you can get to the town in minutes, and the staff are so friendly they feel like family. Given that there was a surprise element to my birthday trip, a lot had to be done without my knowledge and the staff went out of their way to get everything done from hiding flowers and cake to setting up tables out on the balcony and making the room pretty. We even had a "butler" for the day (Arul) who was sweet and unobtrusive in all his service. There were four staff members (who I really wish I had got the names of!) that we came into contact with and all four were fabulous. One of the best stays ever and would always want to revisit. No complaints whatsoever, only high praise!"

"The hotel is located in an isolated in a secured resident holiday village on hilltop, with quite and beautiful neighborhood. Only 4 room in the cottage, without being disturbed by large size of tourist groups. The room is decorated in British style, deserve to say“home sweet home". The room service is also beyond expectation, with warm welcome tea, thoughtful consideration to the visiting plan, and well served/delicious dinner. I was leaving early in the morning, the staff specially prepared tasty take-away breakfast set, which is impressive. All in all, highly recommended for everyone."

"Finished my 3 nights stay in this property a week back. I must recommend it highly. Its situated inside a 16 acres of plantation a small town called Gampola. Gampola is in the middle of 2 famous places Kandy and Nuwara Eliya. It is about 25 Kms ahead of Kandy and you will have to drive for 25 Kms from Gampola to reach Nuwara Eliya. Its a beautiful villa, situated on the top of a mountain, having 6 spacious beautiful rooms with bathrooms as large as bedrooms. The view from this villa is breathtaking - You can their own plantation, forests. mountains, clouds, etc. You do not have Televisions and Phones in the rooms - Idea is to relax and rejuvenate. Staff is very nice, Chef is a sweetheart, cooks amazingly well. He has limited stuff on the menu but he can cook up a storm when requested. Highlight is the fresh fruits, fresh fruit juices, tea, etc. - All of this comes from their own plantation where all this stuff is grown organically. I am extremely satisfied by the comfort, taste, rest and scenery that this place provided me. Go ahead book them and thank me later. "

"This is an ideal place to be based to climb Adams Peak. Perfectly situated 10 minutes to the start of the walk. The staff were wonderful. I would happily stay here again. "

"We stayed in the attic room which had the most fantastic bathtub. My husband, who loves baths, spent a good 2 hours enjoying. Staff were fantastic and could not be more helpful and obliging. Stairs were a bit steep, but it was an attic room, so to be expected. They have a beautiful pool table on the second floor which we made use of on one of the 3 evenings we stayed. They are a bit far from town, but that seems to be the case with a lot of the hotels in Nuwara Eliya. The included breakfast was ample and tasty and the tea and cookies were always available. Oh, and the bed was great! Thanks."
