At check-in, when I showed my passport, the staff responded in Japanese. It may have been a coincidence that the staff member could speak Japanese, but there are also staff members who can assist those who are not good at English or Chinese. The location is also good, and you can take a bus from the bus stop in front of the hotel to the Hong Kong port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, which leads to Macau. The area is also safe at night, so I was able to go out with peace of mind.

The location is excellent and convenient to go anywhere. There is Kowloon Park and an observation deck downstairs. The subway station is within a 10-minute walk. Turning right at the door, you can reach Harbour City, and it is very convenient to go to the Star Ferry Terminal and Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. The hotel is clean, and the service is attentive. At first, I couldn't find bottled water, but later I found out that it was for environmental protection to reduce everyone's waste of plastic bottles. The hotel provides cups to the water dispenser at the door, which is a plus for environmental friendliness. The hotel also provided two cans of tea drinks in the mini-fridge as a gift.

The hotel’s location is very good. It is near (just walking distance) to Austin MTR and Tsim Tsa Tsui MTR. One of HK’s ferry terminals going to Macau is just below the hotel so it’s very accessible if you are planning a trip to Macau. HK’s cup noodle museum is just below the hotel and there’s a “shopping mall” to eat and buy necessities as well. Airport bus A25 bus stop is just below the hotel so it’s also very accessible going to and from the airport. Other places near the hotel are Bakehouse, Cheung Hing Kee, Restaurant Kowloon (they’re open from 6:30 until 1 am so it’s a good place for your breakfast until supper), K11, Avenue of Stars, Salisbury Road, Nathan Road, Temple street, Chungking Mansions, etc. So location wise it’s really good. The room is okay for HK standard. We were given a room at the 23rd floor in which you have to walk through a staircase to access as the lifts are only until the 22nd floor. The staff who assisted us for the luggages showed his annoyance and difficulty in having to bring the luggages to the 23rd floor (bec there’s no lift to go all the way). Because of this, my father and my husband have decided to help him carry the luggages to our room. There’s no problem for us helping it’s just I wished he could have kept his emotion to himself and didn’t show his frustration to the guests. Other than that, rest of the staffs we’ve encountered are friendly and helpful. They can also speak English well. Another thing I can point out is they have to improve on the room floor’s cleanliness. I feel that it’s not cleaned properly as the carpet feels very itchy and there’s some dirt (like crumbs) seen on the floor. It’s uncomfortable walking barefoot on the room. There’s no water bottles provided in the room so you have to bring your own as the hotel has water refilling station on every floor. Overall, our stay was pleasant and would definitely book this hotel again on our next visit to HK.

I stayed at the Royal Pacific Hotel with my mum and brother. The location is just unbeatable. And the lobby is cozy and lovely. The Front Desk staff were nice and efficient, and checked us in very quickly. The room was lovely, spacious and clean. Housekeeping were very nice and quick. The hotel has a good commitment to sustainability, which included water refills on a reusable glass jar instead of the usual plastic water bottles in the room. Coffee was good too. Breakfast was okay, but staff were nice. The phone receptionist was also very good and professional. Concierge could be better but still professional. We had a lovely time and are also grateful for the complimentary upgrade. We highly recommend this hotel and would certainly go back.

Been here for the 2nd time. It was renovated since last visited. There is a mall below the hotel and terminal for ferry and bus which made it accessible. The room was comfortable and clean. Only needs bidet in the bathroom to improve. Water station is nearby our room for easy water refills. Breakfast is good too but lunch buffet was better. We arrived earlier than expected and were accommodated 2hrs earlier than the usual check-in time, which we highly appreciate due to red-eye flight. Highly recommended. Worth every penny.
