Comfortable Provincial Hotel”
This is a provincial hotel, so forget the glitz of a Bangkok hotel!! It was clean, modern, reasonably priced and situated in a convenient location for major routes in and out. We did have a problem on the first night when there was no hot water in the room. It was late at night and no maintenance guy on duty but after a conversation with the front desk, we were moved to a new room. One nice surprise was the breakfast selection, better than some Bangkok hotels I've stayed in! Ultimately, I would stay here again as it is well suited to my needs in the Roi Et area.

comfortable and quiet”
ok. Difficult to find transport to town and staff inexperienced. Language is an issue. No manual or information about Roi Et and services provided by the hotels. No easy chair/sofa in the room. Very economical on toiletries. It is a hot season and the air con was not working but they allowed change to another room with no fuss. Otherwise ,it was a comfortable stay and if they could just pay attention to minor details it will make the stay excellent. Breakfast cold and no milk for coffee.Restaurant staff young but excellent.

Still best in Roi Et”
Many new hotels popping up, but none like Thanintorn. Large rooms, quiet surroundings, restaurant, great swimming pool. All with the Thai friendly service.

Best hotel in Roi-Et”
Room naming and size is confusing, but friendly staff made changes to facilitate our family of 8. Pool is nice, but in need of some repairs. Rooms are basic and also need broken things fixed. Wifi very poor this time (was better before). Still the most comfortable hotel we found in Roi-Et.

Confusion on room naming”
Booked a Executive Junior Suite for 4 persons, got the executive Grand Suite for 2 persons. Staff is helpful, but useless. No one at the hotel understands how room naming works. Other than this, I still think this is the best hotel in Roi-Et, be it a bit outside of the city centre.

Typical budget provincial Thai hotel”
Place is a typical Thai provincial hotel and as such service standards are not brilliant. On arrival greeted by three very young staff who spent the majority of the time playing with their mobile phones. Room was clean, but only about 65% of the light bulbs were working and couldn't get any hot water in the shower - not a disaster as June in Thailand can get a bit warm. Air con was excellent and quiet. Sadly, can't say the same for the other guests who had a shouted conversation at 3:30am in the corridor. Only had breakfast at the hotel, which was allegedly served from 6:00. In actuality, the staff - again very young - hadn't finished getting everything ready for 6:00, so had to make to with bread and coffee. Wouldn't use this hotel again as there are far cheaper places which offer a comparable standard of service.

Very Quiet, enormous but unless you like walking.you need a car!”
Biggest hotel I've stayed in, in Thailand, Breakfast had good range of chow but as is the custom was served cold, the slow staff were unhelpful, uninformed and spoke poor English. An attitude adjustment required... All 4 reception staff too busy on cell phones to be concerned with hotel guests. I booked on basis of using the 25 m pool. Unfortunately the pool had large fugal growth and was dirty to swim in. The Ironic thing was a staff member actually appeared out of thin air wanting my room number. I said , " why? I can't use it! " The Hotel had huge car parks and their focus was on large conferencing, as a consequence the rooms were mostly unoccupied. TV mostly Thai channels, good spacious and clean bathroom. Rooms had wooden floors and good comfortable beds. However, First room I was given, stunk of cigarettes smoke! Which I could not understand becauset the hotel had many signs specifically stating a 5000 b fine was in place.Basically a nice hotel but forget about any service if you book here. A beautiful little city with nice water island park..great in the evening.

Better choices now”
This used to be the best hotel in Roi-Et when it opened a 4 years ago. It is only hotel in Roi-Et with a good pool. Rooms are large, but dated and things don't always work. Newer hotels are opening every year that may be a better choice now.

Hotel Roi Et”
Good stay. staff let us check in early, even though it meant speeding up the cleanup of room. The room was large and comfortable. There were a few times that the loud neighbors in the room next to ours could be heard but I was still able to fall asleep. The bathroom had a bathtub/shower combo but the water faucets were so loose that it was difficult to turn the water on/off but still did the job. The included breakfast was way beyond my expectations. Full on buffet! There was hardly anyone in the hotel until the 2 tour buses showed up, which brought the noise level up a bit until they all got settled in. Internet was good enough for me.

Large Old Style Conference Hotel”
No staff to help with bags on arrival or departure. Reception staff not aware of booking and no city maps available. Old style well maintained large hotel with minimal staff. Large sparsely furnished deluxe room with a comfortable bed. Bath/shower with good water pressure. Old TV with only one English channel (Universal). Tea and coffee facilities. No room safe. Robes and slippers provided. Fresh flower on bed and extra pillows. Breakfast was a basic buffet but cooked prior to 6am and left for 4 hours in presentation electrical food warmers that were never connected, therefore everything was cold and once the dish was consumed it was not refilled.

Comfort at edge of Roi Et.”
Not luxury, but comfortable. Large rooms. Shower is OK. AC works well, even in the 41 celsius heat. Pool is large and nice, somewhat busy now that is open to locals. Must have a car, as this is away from city centre.

normal but not impressed”
Check In: We booked the hotel by agoda but the receptionist can't find our booking. We showed them the voucher on laptop but they want us to print it out. As we dont have printer so we ask them hotel email so we can forward it. But the staff also don't know hotel email address so they said nevermind and they are not friendly at all. Hotel need to improve service mind for their staff. Room: Even the hotel looks new but interior and room design is quite old. The hot water in bathroom work unstable. Breakfast: The hotel are full with the guests from big company' staffs. Breakfast was not provided enough during rush hour 7.00-8.00 and we can had only coffee and bread. Location: not in the city and there is no restaurant and conveninient store nearby. Not recommend for people who don't have car.

Good location but the hotel is old”
Hotel is old and if you expect to stay in the new hotel, you should not stay here. However, the price is reasonable for me.

Disappointing”
Very disappointed - Reception staff could not speak a word of English, TV in rooms only had Thai stations, breakfast was Thai only, hotel location far from town, air conditioners in rooms were faulty, hot water worked spasmodically and there are far cheaper & better hotels in Roi Et.

Pleasant 6 night stay”
My room need a bit of minor maintenance as did most areas of the hotel. Beds and pillowws were confortable and AC worked well. Not central but not too far out and easy to get samlors and airport taxi. Breakfast was included and what was expected for a hotel in Isaan. Buffet with fruit, salads, hot dishes, endless coffee, tea and toast. Room was serviced daily. Large clean swimming pool across the carpark. Definitely would stay there again

Short stay”
The stay was okay but there were a few things we found a little odd. There were telephones in the room but you couldn't make outside calls only calls within the hotel. There were no hand towels and only a bath towel for each guest. We requested an extra pillow while we were checking in and were told that there was a 100 baht charge for each pillow. The hotel it's self was quite hot with no air but the rooms did have a good air conditioner. When we went to breakfast the only American food was toast and there was also a limited assortment of fruit. The pool is very large and nice.
