My partner and I stayed the night at Summerfield House to meet friends in the city centre for a gaming event; we had such a pleasant stay - the property is clean and well kept, the bed was comfy, tea and coffee facilities in the room, and a short drive from the city centre and with plenty of uber vehicles running travel was not a problem. Check in was super simple, with clear instructions sent to my email before arriving, and check out just the same. Communication with the host was pleasant and prompt. Value for money was stellar, and we struggled to find anywhere else within our budget at such short notice, I'm so glad Summerfield House was there to accomodate us! Area was peaceful and quiet and we had a restful night's sleep Thank you once again Summerfield House for having us! Hope to stay with you again in future :)
Overall, the stay was ok although I wouldn't personally encourage you to stay here. The location is reachable 20 mins by bus from the city center and it's near the bus stop. The room was clean but it was not really soundproof. You can really hear everything from outside (people steps on the stairs). The bed was also squeaking badly which made my rest didn't go so well. However, the toilet and the kitchen were clean. For the price, it's okay in general... Although I believe that there are better places to stay in Birmingham.
Great location, spacious room, free wifi. Unfortunately theres a lot of dust and grime, so had to clean room on arrival. Be aware they take £50 a night deposit. Passport I.d I understand but personal picture??
