Location The best hotel that i found. Exit right from hotel walk straight look out out for lotteria on your left, cross the road, walk pass lotteria keep on walling straight you will see plenty of restaurants and that's dongdaemun shopping district. To the subway, exit right from hotel. Continue walking straight you will see escalator, take the escalator you will reach the subway. Exit left from hotel, within 2 mins you will reach korea post. You can post your goodies back home without worrying exceed your baggage! Service Staffs are helpful and friendly.

I Loooove staying at Western Coop. The location is very good. 5 Minutes walk to Myeongdong, and i love how the kitchen works well. I can cook for my daughter. Groceries at Lotte Myeongdong and cook anything she wants. I finely hard for kids to eat in Korea since most of the food are spicy and kimchi. The hotel is very clean. It looks like more service apartment though. Has a heater floor so you can walk barefoot inside the room without feeling any cold :-)

location - right next to konguk university,eastern seoul - it's not a popular spot that guidebooks usually recommend. but surprisingly, the community has almost everything a visitor wants/ needs - department store, cinema, book store, countless cafes, shops, korean sujip (pubs) & sigdang (restaurants), supermarket, clinics, beauty salon & 24-hour bistros! transportation - though it's away from incheon airport (west of seoul, it takes merely an hour for the airport bus (6013) to take you to and fro. the bus stops are just right outside & opposite to the apartment's entrance. - subway stations (2 lines) are just 5-min walk. took less than 20min to get to myeongdong room & in-room facilities - almost nothing to complain about - new, large (everything!), hi-tech, well-equiped, comfy bed, good lighting (great for someone who stays for business) - minor comments: - no dvd player (or i didn't notice it?) - no trash bags in the kitchen, which makes things a bit wetty & dirty if one gonna cook - no detergent, dish washing cloths & washing powder. i don't think any visitor would bring those stuff along on their trip! service - polite, sincere & helpful staff at the reception/ concierge counter - speedy check-in & out - comments: - i called the operator at around 5-6pm requesting for housekeeping. however, the staff said that the service hour was over. the hotel management may consider making the service hour more flexible especially for guests who would stay at the apartment during daytime and don't want to be disturbed by housekeeper till the evening - i tried the gym on 4f - spacious & equipments are new. but i was so surprised that there's no locker available for guests' temporary storage room rate - rather high-end among those serviced apartments in seoul. yet value-for-money given such a good quality overall - comment: the hotel management could have the rate competitiveness increased by offering complimentary fitness & spa

Ever8 Serviced Residence does served its purpose very well as a serviced residence. The location is quite nice, near both Ewha Woman's University and Sinchon subway station, where locates lots and lots of restaurants and fashion street. The room is equipped with electric stove, microwave, utensils, washing sink, washing machine and a very tall fridge. There're 2 closets in the room I stayed with my parents; one near the door and the other near the window. The room also has its own heater [both for the room temperature and the water temperature], which you can decide how hot you want it to be, but unfortunately, the water temperature cannot goes lower than 35 Celsius degree, I didn't try the room heater though, it's still quite hot in South Korea. The Cons though, there're no shower cap and cotton bud, so if you choose to stay here, don't forget to bring those if you need them. I was a little bit surprise that they don't provide shower cap, it feels like a standard amenity for me. Also they provide you washing machine, but not detergent. The staff are really nice and helpful. I didn't try the breakfast so no comment on that but my mother said that the coffee in Cafe No.8 on the ground floor is quite good. They have breakfast set; coffee with pastry for 6600 won [around $6], but you also can find proper breakfast elsewhere around the residence.

This is best value for money. Just adjascent to Paradise the Casino this is right on beach. The best for a family stay. With cooperating staff, kitchinet, location, nearby provision store and other best amenities at the place, we the two families (two rooms I booked)found it unimaginative good value for money. Language might be a small problem as is throughout S Korea.My undoubted first choice, if I happen to go again to Busan.

Location: Stayed for four nights with a friend. It was located opposite the Seodaemun Police Building and very near one of the exits of Seodaemun Station. The bus stop for the airport bus was right outside the hotel building, but never got a chance to take the airport bus. We waited for ages in the cold but the bus never came, not even the next one on schedule. It was considerably near to the shopping areas of Dongdaemun and Myeongdong. Staff: The reception staff on the third floor spoke better English than the ones at the information desk on the ground floor. The housekeeping staff were friendly, although their efficiencies differed from one to the other. The drainage in the bathroom was clogged, but only one of them bothered to unclog it. Room: Overall, the apartment was spacious, especially the bedroom and living areas. The lighting was good. There was a heating system which kept the whole apartment warm on our first night there. But after we "meddled" with the control because it got a bit too hot, there was only heating in the living area, but not the bedroom area. The housekeeping staff explained to us how to adjust the temperature, but somehow maybe we misunderstood or didn't press the correct buttons, so the bedroom area wasn't as warm on the remaining nights. The hot water in the shower takes quite a while to come on, but rather fast for the the kitchen tap. Features: The lifts serving all the floors had a tendency to skip our floor for some reason. No wifi in our room, but there was connection on the ground and third floors. It was also convenient to have a 7-Eleven located on the ground floor. Would consider staying here if we visit Korea again.

Best location. Bus 6015 from airport stops at Myeongdong station. You juz have to cross the street and find exit 1 or 2 then turn left. Very near to Myeongdong shopping street. Near to Namsam tower, palaces and shops. They have very helpful staff. Breakfast is free, I hope they can provide variety of breakfast per day but the ones in the kitchen were good. Small room but reasonable for the price. I will come back here for my next trip at South Korea.

I am an English teacher living in Dongtan, South Korea. My parents came to visit for Chuseok and we had many things we wanted to do in Seoul. I booked this hotel for four nights and I worked out perfectly. My parents and I had separate bedrooms, so I didn't have to hear my mom snore :) The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location was pretty good and the city view from our floor was AMAZING. I really enjoyed my stay here. Some very minor issues were: 1) Our cable didn't work at first, but a call down to the desk cleared it right up. 2) There was a little bit of mold on my sheets, but again a quick call cleared it up. 3) There was a church near the hotel and many homeless men were walking or sleeping around the hotel. They were completely harmless, but I felt it necessary to point out.

This is my first time to Busan and used three hotels. Seomyeon Mumum Residence is the best one around the three. If I not need to select specific region to live, I think I will not test others. This is the best. It close to the metro, shopping mall nearby, service good. On the other hand, the rooms in Busan are small, check the area before order, room in Seomyeon Mumum Residence is releative big (compare with the price). Although I am not sure Seomyeon Mumum Residence is the best in Busan, I will not try others unless special need like sea view, close to beach, sunrise, sunset, etc. Oh, the breatfast is very good, not many choice but fiil the stomach, good taste for me. Finally, Seomyeon Mumum Residence is my first choice when I travel to Busan again.

Very nice hotel, with friendly staffs and attentive staffs. Asked for a late check-out by a hour and it's done immediately, very efficient. Close to 2 subway stations, City Hall and Seodaemun stations. Quite a distance to these 2 stations (around 5 mins or 10 mins if you take a slow walk) but the hotel is still conveniently located. You can take a cab to Myeongdong or Dongdaemun market as it's around 5 - 10 mins ride only, and it's cheap. There's a 7-11 opposite the apartment too, and nearby there are cheap and local food restaurants that are family run-ed business. No English menu but it's really cheap if you managed to order the food. Kimchi Chigae is the one that I have ordered ;) Room are clean and there's room service too. We booked a studio apartment so can't comment much as it's only a 1 room apartment. Toilet is small though, but the toilet bowl is the Japanese high tech kind. Note that studio apartments (twin beds, not sure about the single queen bed room) has no dryer or washing machine. There are laundry services but it's expensive. Price is a little pricey as compared to nearby serviced apartments like Vabien Suits, or Brownsweet apartment. But money is still well spent as the room are nice and very friendly staffs too. 4/5 stars for this serviced apartment.

It's a serviced apartment with complete kitchen & laundry equipment & supplies. Spacious room. One front desk officer was very helpful but the others may have been struggling with communicating in English so they weren't very courteous. We had to stay in a different room for the first night since they messed up the booking. When we moved, the refrigerator was broken but we didn't want to move again. It was winter anyway. Washing machine difficult to operate since labels were all in Korean. Location is smack in between two train stations though 600m either way (if you don't mind the walk). Gangnam has its own sights to see but all the action is in Myeongdong so keep that in mind. Great value for money though.

Our 8 days stay at NJoy was incredibly superb. Carrying 2 large suitcases, 1 cabin size suitcase and 1 pram, NJoy had arranged a pick up service to-and-fro to airport. I've planned activities for the kids and NJoy has made arrangements on the tickets and transportation. Right to the minute detail such as giving us the T-money transportation card on our first day. As we are on free and easy, this has saved us a lot of trouble going to get the card though it was easily available. As we are traveling out to the theme parks, NJoy took the initiatives to advise on the days that is appropriate for the trip according to the weather condition. This is very thoughtful. I doubt you can find such service in expensive hotels like ibis. It is a service apartment style, but they do provide change of towels and clearing of rubbish on daily basis. With the kind of price u getting, it's the best. Plus, the service apartment is right on top of exit 2 of Hongjik University subway station. Mr Kim has been a great help to our stay. Patient and fatherly man to us. I've Already recommended my friends who are looking at free and easy trips to Korea! Thumbs up for NJoy Residence Seoul.

The hotel is an excellent value for your money. I haven't stayed at a hotel with better amenities then this one. The room includes: * Small kitchen that comes equipped with a single burner, utensils, rice cooker, microwave * Computer with internet access * Washing machine * Hair dryer * AC * Complimentary breakfast (with lots of variety of food including fruits, cereal, milk, bread, salad, juice etc) * Fitness center There is a 7-11 store that is inside the hotel on the first floor, which is very convenient. Parking is free. There's lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The only complain I have is that the mattress was rock hard. However, I have heard that's how the mattresses are at most hotels in South Korea, so maybe there's nothing out of the ordinary there.

Loved the location. Next building to Good Morning City, so I usually tell the taxi driver to go to Dongdaemun Good Morning City. Usually cost less than 5k won to travel around the area. Only cost me 4k+ won to return from Insa-dong. You can go to Sparex (B3) at good morning city for Korean spa. AM City (1 building away) is a good place for shopping. The subway station at that stop is served by 3 lines which gets me to most tourist destinations easily without a need to transfer. The room is definitely small, but I had sufficient space to pack my luggage. And there's space under the bed for me to place my luggage when not in use. There's simple breakfast like cereal and bread available in the pantry in the morning. Service was good. I dropped my sunglasses pouch during breakfast and found it hanged on my door handle when I returned end of the day. I am willing to pay that price for the location and room size.

Hands down one of the most wonderful hotel experiences I've had, not only in Korea but while travelling in general. I found this hotel while travelling back from Busan during Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) and it was so incredibly hard finding a decent place in Seoul that wasn't too much out of my budget. Finding this hotel was a blessing and the room is even more beautiful in person! The location is wonderful, you're not far from Eonsu, Yeoksam & Gangnam station so you can get anywhere easily. Everything is in walking distance and there's a convenient store right next door so you can always grab something to eat or a snack when you feel like it. The staff is also incredibly helpful and very kind. My Korean isn't so great but they helped me with whatever I needed and always tried their best to understand me. The location is quiet and the price is very very good for all the services you're getting. Next time that I'll come back to Korea this will be the only hotel I'm staying at! 정말 감사합니다 강남 패밀리 호탤!!

K Pop Residence II is a cosy place. It was difficult to find when i first arrived as its reception is upstairs and the signage is not very clear. It is in the middle of the shopping district which was amazingly convenient. The Staff were extremely helpful, they helped organise a DMZ tour, and looked up how to take transport to certain sights for me. The shower and bathroom is very small and the shower is the same area/room as the entire bathroom, which is quite standard in Seoul I hear, but was a bit different for someone going to South Korea for the first time. I would recommend this hotel for great value for money and location, the room itself was a bit small but enough for one person. Overall was a very pleasant stay

I have been to a lot of residence-inn type hotels in Korea and want to rate Coatel "Superb." For the price, the room was very spacious and clean. I called the front desk several times when I first checked in for questions such as setting up the wireless computer access and AC temperature setting, and each time staff came to my room and showed me how to do. Two thumbs up for the friendly service.. Free wireless service, free parking, Sauna and fitness center was not free though. Even though it had a kitchenette, it would've been impossible if I wanted to cook. But a convenience store in the first floor and many stores/restaurants right outside.. I strongly recommend this hotel.

self services的hotel,resident apartment,B&B... ，super nice staff was waiting me outside in freezing mid-night,feel warm。 The room is nice, which ( Floor-heater in the apartment, and full quite new facilities including electric-cooking, air-con, shower.... also fast wifi, with no password need if resident in, which really great without fussy. Location is great with nothing to complain, 1 min to Sinsa Station (underground/subway), airport shuttle bus #6009 right outside, walking-distance to social area... convenient store and restaurant around. I will choose this place again when next time in Seoul, Gangnam. You wont disappointing to choose this place to stay. Strongly recommend.

this is the best place where to stay in Myeongdong! outside the building is the shopping are... I love shopping so I made sure that I will choose a place where the shopping street is just a walk away. the staffs are very accommodating, they speak in English, they have free breakfast! it's the granola is my favorite! the have free water, you could just refill your bottle before you go out so you don't have to buy water, bec it's still expensive. the shuttle bus pick up and drop off area for our tours are just few minutes away. best place to stay in MYEONGDONG!!!! will surely comeback!

Good hotel for family with young children. My children actually prefer this hotel compared to a 5-star hotel because of the size of the family room that we booked. Also they were very impressed with the heated flooring. Having a washing machine made it more convenient for our travel as we get to wear clean clothes instead of having to "recycle" our clothes as we stayed in Korea for more than 1 week. Helpful reception staff to give us directions to the subway and city attractions. Overall a satisfactory stay and will stay there again if we do return to Seoul, Korea.

We travelled with our three Children( between 4-10years old)and we stayed in the Family Room which was quite spacious, neat and had a Kitchenette which was useful as we needed to cook sometimes.A lot of restuarants on the ground floor.The Couple who managed this Hotel would bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable,help you with speaking to your Korean contacts,and are always happy to help you with your daily itinerary and speak fluent English. I would be back to this Hotel anytime I travel to South Korea again.

While I usually travel with friends and stay in hostels, I was solo this time and just couldn't stand sweating my way through the hot Korea summers with 5 other people sharing a room and bathroom. The two criteria I had were a private bathroom and something close to the subway. This place was perfect - the room, bed, and bathroom were a fine size for Korea, and the cable, free wi-fi, and Western (along with Korean) outlets were awesome bonuses. Totally ruined me for hostels, and I will definitely stay here every overnight I take to Seoul!

The hotel is conveniently located near the shopping area near Dongdaemun. It is just less than 3 mins walk to the subway and easy access to most of the local restaurants and street food around the area. Walking distance to the major wholesale shopping malls and the hotel is surrounded by small shops selling wholesale toys, shoes, hats, etc. Stayed there for 4 days and the hotel staff are friendly but not very initiative, unless you ask them for help. We have approached the hotel staff many times during our stay for travelling advises. Personally, we think the staff working on mid-night shift are more friendly and more approachable than those staff working in the morning or afternoon. The best part is most of their staff can speak fluent English, Mandarin and Japanese which made it even easier for us to communicate with them. The staff who worked during night shift even helped us to call a local fast food joint to help ordered takeaway food for us as we can’t speak Korean. However, on our last day of departure, we had to carry our heavy luggages and boxes out from our room ourselves. Even when there were two staff working in the afternoon saw our situation but did not offer to help. For a budget hotel, we think that our family room size was just nice for 4 of us as we did not spend a lot of time in the room. We used the room mainly for resting purposes and also to store our shopping goodies. The room was clean and our bed linens were clean as well. However, I had rashes all over my body during my stay there. I wasn’t sure whether it was caused by the bed linen as my other three friends were doing fine and they did not get the rashes. Our room was cleaned everyday and clean towels were provided to us everyday. For the convenience of location and the money we’ve paid for this budget hotel, we will definitely stay in this hotel again for our next visit to Korea.
