"This boutique hotel showcases heritage houses from different locations, moved and rebuilt into B&B units in a secure and pretty compound in San Pablo City. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and attentive. The museum which is open to guests is a reminder of the glorious period in the Philippines, with antiques and collectibles which are well preserved. Will definitely consider staying here again."

"We took a tricycle and followed the directions according to the map. It was nighttime and we got lost. We called the hotel for detailed directions and found out that we've missed the street a couple of times before finally getting it right the third time. The hotel, which was originally an ancestral family mansion, is located on a dead-end street so there was no traffic, area was quiet and safe. As soon as we entered the premise, we were greeted by the night shift staff warmly and apologized immediately for the inconvenience we went through earlier. Check-in was swift and hassle-free and we finally settled down inside our room for the night. There is free wifi available in each room but very weak signal. I was able to access the internet at the receiving area, dining hall and second floor but not inside our room. Staff tried to reset router but without any luck. The following morning, they served us with a nice breakfast. It was good breakfast and satisfying. The dining area is next to the veranda and, well, let me tell you about the view. AMAZING! The "house" is literally sitting by the top-part of the elevation and it gives you the amazing view overlooking Sampaloc lake and the majestic Mt. Banahaw. The weather during that time was perfect - sunny and warm - which gave us the option of either taking a dip at the pool (which needed to be updated in every way) or jogging/running around the lake with a distance of approx. 5K or 3+ miles. We chose the latter. Lots of "sari-sari' stores and small restaurants and eateries, there are also residential around the lake. Expect to share the narrow road with pet dogs and chickens and children playing. People are friendly and the place is what you expect to find in the typical Philippine province. We had a great time in San Pablo City and will definitely recommend this place!"
