The room was kinda small, but it somehow felt super cozy. The bed was comfortable not hard but the pillow was a little too thick for us. I loved the bathroom; it was so clean and nice, and the water pressure was really strong, which I loved. The location was great, not far from the train station, and the view was stunning, with Tokyo Skytree in sight. We really liked this place, and to be honest, we’re pretty high maintenance, so we’ll definitely stay here again!
Very often my requests are first denied and then I have to make explanation for the request I was making which I am laying out below. On the night of 27 May which I made purchase of my 28 May breakfast, I asked one of the staff in the lobby floor if I can purchase the breakfast coupon at the front desk now. The staff let me know that I can purchase breakfast coupon the next morning. I repeated that saying I want to purchase it now. Little did he know is that, I have a bullet train to catch next morning 08:11 at Tokyo station, I explained to him that my schedule is very tight and would like to purchase now so I can head right to 2/F for my breakfast the next morning. He then proceed to the cashier desk to help with my purchase. As I remember, the lobby was not busy at all at that time and staff definitely can handle my request without prioritising other check in out check out guests. On the night of 30 May which I made purchase of my 1 June breakfast, the front desk staff communicated very well and I did not realise this process can be this smooth and efficient. Also I checked with him if I can ask for the staff to keep my luggage after my check out the next morning, since I have tote bag with my neck rest inside in addition to my two luggages. He kindly replied me that is not an issue and they are happy to help. On the day of my check out, 1 Jun, I proceed to the front desk to check out using the self kiosk and have completed the check out process by myself. However when I asked the staff in English saying if the front staff can help keeping my luggages and tote bag with my neck rest, the staff answered me in Mandarin saying I can use the self service luggage storage. Of course I am aware of such service, I explained to her my need of storing it with the help of staff because I have two tote bags which exposes my item and not suitable for using the self service. She continued saying I should use the self service which made me very miserable and angry. Second, I felt really offended with her answering me in Mandarin. Does that mean I look Chinese and should speak Mandarin to you even I asked you in English. The staff from the cashier came and help with my luggage and she lectured me on how should I pack my luggage. She said I should have putting everything into the suitcase so I can use the self service. Of course I want to put everything in my suitcase but the tote bag has the neck rest which I need during my flight, so I did not want to put it into the suitcase. What made me more angry is that when I see that there are bunch of luggages that the staff are actually keeping. Do they need to make everything difficult and time consuming? When I came to collect my luggage at around 13:45 same day, another staff helped with and process is smooth, swift and excellent. Also, a quick comment is that the elevator stops at 4/F every time, no matter it is going up or down. This significantly increases the waiting time of the lift making the lift lobby in the ground floor always crowded with queue. I was expecting remm Roppongi would provide excellent standard by the Hankyu hotel group when I made booking for this 7 nights but turns out this is the most frustrating hotel stay experience ever. And I do not expect I am staying with Hankyu group anymore if I need to explain small requests every time. Please improve your staff because the room, the view, the cleanliness, the location are excellent and it is a shame having these staff at remm Roppongi.
The hotel is located in a great location near Roppongi station. Close to Midtown and walking distance to Roppongi Hills. I think this is usually a business hotel. We booked a economy double room and the room is probably the smallest hotel room I've stayed in Tokyo. For A$750 for 4 nights, I guess that's pretty good value. Rooms are very clean and comfortable but tiny double bed. Everything is self service including check-in and checkout. If you need toiletries or paper cups/tea bags, it's also self service in the lobby. We were told there's a great cafe next door but we didn't get around to trying it. There's a Starbucks a few doors down the road.
I recently stayed at Remm Roppongi and found it to be an excellent choice for its convenience and modernity. Since the 2020 Olympics, Roppongi has been undergoing redevelopment, and while its nightlife vibe has shifted to Shibuya and Ginza, Remm Roppongi still stands out. The hotel's prime location, just steps from the Roppongi subway station with access to both the Hibiya and Oedo lines, made exploring Tokyo a breeze. The rooms are compact, typical of Japanese style, but well-designed and functional. For solo travelers, a full bed is comfortable, though I recommend opting for twin beds if you're sharing the room. While the hotel lacks amenities like a gym, the nearby Family Mart, Starbucks Reserve, and Tokyo Midtown's food court and supermarket more than make up for it. The surrounding streets are bustling with local eateries, providing plenty of dining options. Overall, Remm Roppongi's strategic location and efficient design make it a great choice for travelers. One thing I didn’t like was how the elevator is programmed to stop at the 4th floor lobby when going up or down.

Efficient and clean”
The hotel is right next to a metro station and took about 20-30 min to major areas—Shibuya, Shinjuku, Tsukiji Fish Market, Ginza, Akihabara. We were on the 8th floor and it was fairly quiet. You can hear emergency vehicles but that’s it. 2-prong outlets are plentiful and conveniently located next to the bed as well as the desk console. The room even included a multi USB adapter. The daily cleaning is a full cleaning by default, but you can also indicate Eco Cleaning, or No Cleaning, by putting the selected magnet on the door. Eco is just a drop off of towels, pajamas, and water outside the door. “No” is nothing. Pajamas is a one size button up long gown. Bathroom has hand soap at the sink, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and wash towels. No body lotion. The wet room was equipped with a handheld shower, rain shower, and stool, and there are also a couple of plastic buckets for water, laundry, storage, soaking your feet, etc. Speaking of feet, the room also had a massage chair. Maybe I wasn’t using it right, but the chair seemed designed for an extremely small person. My companion and I are both 5’ and under, and the leg part of the chair barely went up to our calves. Still nice after a long day. You can pick up pour over coffee packets and tea bags in the lobby. Both were delicious and satisfying. There is a place in the lobby to DIY lock up your suitcase. Also a couple vending machines and a money exchange machine. Drink vending machines on every floor. No in room iron, but there are pants presses on each floor that you can borrow. Beds were comfortable. Firm mattresses because Asia, one standard fluffy pillow, and one that was bean-filled? I slept on beany one and found it quite soothing. Temperature controls are in Japanese, but there are pretty clear instructions in English. Or use Google Translate. Very helpful staff during check in and out. We borrowed umbrellas from the hotel a couple of times and had them store our luggage for a couple hours after checkout.
