“Comfortable stay!”
I chose to stay at Remm Roppongi because of its proximity to the Tokyo Tower, Teamlab Borderless, and the train station. It's also close to convenience stores, restaurants, and stores. Roppongi also held a special place in my heart because it was the first city I worked at in Japan many eons ago :-) The Front Desk staff were very courteous and always willing to help. The cleaning staff, however, needs some improvement. Unlike their counterparts at Remm Akihabara (RA), they were not as thorough. After our room was cleaned one day, we found the bedspreads left on the chair and not returned on the bed. The sink faucet's nozzle was also turned upside down for some reason so when I turned it on, the water almost spilled on the counter. These were never the case at RA. The water pressure is excellent. They also have a rain shower as at RA but the tiny nozzles were spewing water all over the place. It seems they haven't been given some maintenance for a while. I have a similar shower head at home and I had to regularly check the nozzles for calcium buildup and whatnot so it functions as it should. That said, it was still a comfortable stay overall.

When I travel to Japan, I always end up doing a lot of shopping, so the transportation options to the accommodation are very important to me. I tend to prefer the area around Daimon since I insist on using Haneda. I usually go to Tokyo four times a year, and I switch accommodations each time. Roppongi requires a transfer to get to Haneda, and compared to Ginza, it doesn't have many shopping malls or restaurants nearby. Besides Roppongi's illumination, I feel like there's not much else to offer. However, I really like it because, due to its somewhat central location, I can reach anywhere in about 40 minutes, whether it's Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Station, Shinjuku, Harajuku, or Ginza. The facilities are very clean, and there’s also a massage chair. I can speak a little Japanese, so it wasn't a big advantage for me, but there are staff who can speak Korean as well! They provide all the amenities, and when checking out, you can store your luggage in lockers; I think it was free for up to 12 hours? The location is great, with a 24-hour Don Quijote just 10 minutes away, and there are quite a few restaurants. The surroundings are quiet, possibly because there's nothing particularly outstanding nearby. If I had to pick one issue, the bathroom is made of glass facing the bed. There is a curtain to cover it, but that curtain was a bit dirty with mold and stains. I went alone, so I just left it as is. I think if they replace that, it would really improve the stay!

“Great location at great cost”
Remm Roppongi is 2 minutes away from both the Oedo and Hibiya line making commute very convenient. 2 minutes walk from multiple convenient stores and 2 pharmacies. 24 hour eateries nearby. 5 minutes walk away from coin laundry service. Hotel room is small as with most Tokyo hotels but is a comfortable size for solo or couple travelers and 1 huge luggage in the room. Bed is very comfortable, shower has great water pressure and consistent heat. Aircon is consistently cool. Internet reached a whopping 900+Mbps on LAN (both LAN port and LAN cable provided). TV can be used as a second monitor / streaming from laptop / game console with exposed HDMI port. More than sufficient power plugs in the room (3 japanese and 1 international in room, 2 more in shower, and 2 near the door for housekeeping). Fridge is reliably cold albeit relatively small. Hotel management should consider providing the option to remove massage chair from room as it occupies precious space and is too small for most international audience. Housekeeping is fantastic - they really change out the bedsheets and towels every day and leave more than enough water for our needs. Overall, the value of the hotel exceeds the price I paid.
