I have now stayed at this hotel two times when visiting my wife's family in Phitsanulok, Thailand. It is an exceptional hotel and fantastic value for money. I will always be staying at this hotel when visiting this area of Thailand. The hotel is near new with modern hotel facilities including modern rooms, beautiful landscaping, exceptional greeting and service b...

I stayed at Amarin just for one night (missed my night bus to Phitsanulok), but the hotel was very accommodating, letting me check in early on Saturday morning. The pool is unreal and they have great customer service. Also quiet and away from the main road. The view on the back of the hotel is of rice fields and just stunning at this time of year. Would definitely retu...

This hotel is so well run with amazing staff and an excellent manageress. Everything was perfect. The breakfasts were lovely as well with a great selection and delicious coffee. They were so quick and eager to help us with our luggage from our car and even had someone keep an eye on the cars at night in the large parking lot. If you travel to Phitsanulok I recommend yo...

My first time staying here was great. Very closed to the famous temple and located in the center of Phitsanulok. Good room and good facilities. Bathroom is together with toilet, found some stain but it’s acceptable. The most important thing need to be fixed was reception. No smiling , unpolite and unhelpful. However, I really love the great service of bellboy who drov...

I stayed in this hotel on two separate nights en-route between Chiangmai and Nakhon Phanom. I have tried before to find a pleasant hotel in Phitsanulok but to no avail. Wonderful that I now have this choice when I make this regular trip. On the banks of the river Nan, close to Wat Pra Si Rattana Mahathat (aka. Wat Yai), it has just 21 rooms, 2 suites and 2 connecting r...

the ayara grand palace hotel is a breath of fresh air compared to most of the dingy old hotels in phitsanulok. from the moment we arrived and were greeted with a cold drink we knew that this hotel was going to be good. the attentive staff could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. the rooms were bright, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, including...

the resort has a jurasic park feel about it.r room is a cute cabin that has 1950's style to it.you are about 50km from phitsanulok city in the countryside by a small river.no smoking or drinking at the swimming pool.the pool is small, but well maintained.the restaruant is closed by 8pm.

The hotel is incredibly well designed and decorated to the smallest details. High end luxury with affordable pricing. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide range. Felt like the only people staying - extremely quiet and peaceful - we really enjoyed the swimming pool area. Ideal for a weekend break when you want peace and quiet. Great staff - > Chamchuree - the fr...

The Harmony Plus Apartments are very nice, but seem to be more for the business traveler, just my opinion and good for us as we were just spending one night on our way to Kalasin. The directions given for GPS systems take you to the Harmony Condo complex, but the Security there is used to travelers turning up looking for the Harmony Plus Apartment. The rooms are a nic...

We stayed at the hotel during our visit to the Chinarat Buddha at Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, which is only 5 minutes down the street and easily accessible from the hotel. I was not expecting much from a small town hotel, but it was surprisingly nice. The lobby and dining room are older but very well appointed, and the rooms are comfortable and nicely maintained. We...

Perfect for nature lovers and anybody who wants to stay off the beaten track. It's about a 45 minute bus ride out of town, but there didn't seem to be much to do in actual Phitsanulok anyway. The owner is lovely and welcoming and the bungalows are so pretty and peaceful. It was perfect, I would have been happy to just lounge around the hotel and not go out to be honest...

I was in Phitsanulok to visit Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat which houses the famous Buddha image, Phra Phuttha Chinnarat as well as Wat Nang Phaya and Wat Ratchaburana. This hotel was great as a place to sleep but with the room's glaring, bright white lighting and lack of bed lamps meant it wasn't a place to just chill.

This hotel is about 100 yards from the train station and a very short walk to the river and night bazzar, 5 minutes walk to Wat Yai (the big temple). It is an older hotel and the rooms look a bit tired but we were pleasantly surprised to find everything was very clean. The hotel was a real bargain given the price included breakfast, which you might be glad of as there ...

Stayed 3 nights. The hotel got busier at the weekend as a large group had booked in. This caused less choices for breakfast seating. Getting a table out of the sun was not as easy. The first 2 nights the breakfast was cooked to order. The 3rd night it was a buffet. Good breakfast. We ate 3 evening meals in the hotel and the food was excellent. The first night we were b...

Reasonably central location. Rooms fine but tight when you have an extra bed as we did. Staff friendly. Breakfasts a little limited but not a disaster. Phitsanulok was found to have very limited tourist attractions. Pretty well all are Thai temples (Wats). Good restaurants but not easy to find. I would recommend the hotel but not the town.

I came to Phitsanulok to visit Naresuan university and Rajabhat university. This hotel is in the middle of both of them. So the location is quite ok according to that. However, it's far from town. So I couldn't explore the local store or food easily. Despite that, the restaurant provides very tasty dinner at affordable price. The gym is excellent! It's like full servic...

Well-priced and very clean. The bed was large, the shower was hot, the staff was very friendly (some speak English), and the breakfast was diverse and delicious. Hotel staff even offered to take us to the bus station and made a second trip after we forgot a water bottle at the hotel. Great service and excellent location (about 10 min walk to bus station). I would defin...

The hotel is on the western outskirts of Phitsanulok - so it is convenient if travelling NS or East. Mr room (2501, I think) was not on the 2nd floor but the 5th, and faced the busy main highway. Closed windows and drapes blocked out most of the noise but if you are a light sleeper request a room in the adjacent building or on the non-road side of the first building....

The Taman Spa Resort is a quiet undiscovered family run hotel. Large simple, comfortable rooms situated in landscaped grounds. Has not yet been discovered. Pool and quiet areas with small waterfalls create a tranquil retreat for relaxation. Definitely not a busy main-stream establishment, more good honest quality accommodation. Breakfast is personally served by the own...

For the price you pay, this is probably the best hotel to stay at. The hotel room was very clean and tidy and it was spacious enough [for me]. Bathroom / toilet was also nice and clean. I could hear the music from the ground floor bar / restaurant, and to be perfectly honest, I didn't particularly like that, but this is not a 5 star hotel - you can't really expect sou...
Cheap places to stay in Phitsanulok Province

I was supposed to spend only one night at Karma hOMe hostel but I actually stayed two. Mark, the owner, made me feel so welcome and there was such a good energy that I decided to stay more. Nap corner hostel was a perfect place for me to take a rest day during my travel. It was very clean and the staff and family (who own the place) were really nice. A girl who worked there took me to Phitsanulok nightmarket with her scooter! That was awesome 👍🏻 I was staying in a women dorm upstairs and there were AC, 2 toilet/bathroom combinations and 6 beds. Downstai...

Our double room was huge, super clean and with a private bathroom, exactly what we were searching for. It was quite central but it was just nearby a very busy highway so it was super noisy. Personally I have a deep sleep but for other can become a huge problem.

Went to phitsanulok to make a pause on my bus trip. Found this hostel : the bedroom was so cheap compared to how clean and comfy it was. It offers the luxe of an hotel with the price of a guesthouse. They even give you toiletries, free coffee, free bottle of water etc etc. The owners were absolutely nice and helped me get a taxi, do my laundry etc... I would just ad...

ok so 350 baht will get you a double room on the top (4th) floor. There's no lift so it's a bit of a climb and beware of the first step as you ascend from the 3rd floor, it's a bigger step than the rest. But I've skipped ahead. check in was quick and efficient but without any warmth. Probably a language barrier thing. The rooms are a good size. The bed is a que...

No more than 5 minutes walk from Phitsanulok bus terminal 1. It has parking though. Friendly helpul receptioninst. I had to pay 200 Baht deposit on the room. The room looks very new. I paid about 400 Baht for the room. It has a fridge, good aircon and a decent hot shower. The wifi worked well and I had 3 devices using it. There is free coffee downstairs. The n...

If you are in Phitsanulok for a layover and need to be near the bus station, this is a good deal. The hotel is located just a few minutes' walk to the bus station and a number of excellent restaurants and street food stalls. The staff are sincere and helpful. However, if you want to be in the city centre, this is actually some distance away from town. All in all, a ver...

I chose this hotel because of its location, that I wanted to stay near Phitsanulok Airport and also have easy access on the road to Phijit province. It met my both criteria on location. I stayed here for 1 night. The owner who is very friendly and service-minded also works at the reception. My room was comfortable and clean, with all basic amenities. The hair-dryer wa...

The hotel was not far from the train station, like 10 minutes walk. However, the problem was they do not speak a word of English. It took us like half an hour to make the receptionist understand that we booked through Agoda and we had already paid. She sent us to another hotel and they sent us back to this one, and finally we used google translator to h

Stayed there only one night but would´ve liked to stay there much longer! When we arrived, parking just outside reception, the owner(?) came to greet us. Checking in was swift and easy and your first impression was that you almost felt at home! I stayed briefly at this hotel while in Phitsanulok for work. The hotel is reasonably clean and comfortable but rough around the edges. I stayed in some kind of special "VIP" room, which was giant, maybe 60sqm, but not appointed to make any use of all this space. Overall it was an ok place to stay but I wouldn't go back.

Perfectly located for the old bus station. Only 5 minutes walk. Staff friendly. Rooms are a good size and clean. Always quiet for a good sleep. A small buffet breakfast is normally included. This hotel has always been perfect for my needs and I look forward to staying here. If using this hotel as a base to explore Phitsanulok then you will need some form of transport....
