The lodge is very confortable and clean. The rooms are spacious, good bed, good shower/bath. The Games are amazing, Trackers and Rangers incredible. We saw the Big 5 doing 2 games. The Staff is incredible, everybody very happy, friendly and doing the best for you.
We enjoyed our stay. The family room we were in was very practical and convenient; especially so when you have small children ; it was one of the best we stayed in. The breakfast was good and dinner great. We didn't appreciate the owners of the lodge bringing their small dog in the restaurant while we were having breakfast; it made our daughters uneasy.

We stayed in a Superior Family room. The room is big, and very pretty - Comfortable beds, big bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. Housekeeping kept the room clean. All staff at La Roca were very friendly and helpful. Natasha checked us in after 9pm, and Thea took care of us every morning at breakfast. This camp can be used as a rest camp before entering Kruger and after returning from Kruger. This way you can save two nights conservation fees. Staff was cooperative and facilities so so.

The location is amazing. Secluded yet still close to restaurants and shopping malls. The Kruger National Park is also close by. The restaurant service at the Cabanas take too long. You need more staff in the kitchen and a supervisor.
I have been staying in this hotel since I has a child of 11 years old, now after 18 years, I bring my children to stay in there as well. Whenever I cannot find an availability in it, I just cancel my trip to Nelspruit to a later date. The reception staff are great, they closely listens to your comments and fulfill your needs as much as possible.

I have just returned from a 4 night stay at Elephant Walk. What a hidden gem. A hundred times better than any of the main camps in the Kruger and so lovely and private and quiet. Staying in a log cabin over looking the Crocodile River was just perfect. And aircon in the cabin was an added bonus as when we arrived it was 43 degrees!!! It also helps keep the mozzies away...
The staff at Kuname were lovely, providing us with delicious meals and inviting accommodations! The game drives were productive (we saw it all!) and our tracker and guide were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The landscape was mainly brush, so when you do see an animal, it's up close & personal!
Cheap places to stay in Mpumalanga Province
It was not pleasant as I had a fever and I was there during the south african winter time, so I could not enjoy the splendid surroundings with hiking, exploring and trekking. As a place to stay, I'd recommend this place very much though. Quite cheap, great service and a surrounding that takes your breath away.
The resort and surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. The facilities are exceptionally clean, neat and modern. I'll recommend this to any couple or family looking for an amazing breakaway and holiday experience.
Simply the best. I was a bit suspicious about the online booking with Agoda since I had never heard about. The price reduction was enticing but also added to the suspiction, but all was confirmed upon arrival and the stay was excellent.

Absolute gem. Rainer (the owner) was a wonderful host, and the breakfast was very good. Surroundings are surreal, and such a peaceful and tranquil setting! Definitely will go there again if ever I am in the region.
Their disclaimer should be more explicit and state their preferred caliber of guests. I would never recommend it to anyone one I know, well I suspect the treatment would be better to other races.
It's been a great stay even if short one night. Matilda is a great host and the place is absolutely great. Very safe, very close to the center of the town with super comfortable beds and great facilities. If you stay in Graskop it's a great choice to stay in Havana Nights
I will deffinetely recommend a frind here, the place was clean and neat, the rooms were big enough. A cosy house with a farm by the river. The place was clean and would have been a nice place to make our own meal if we came in a bigger group. We were warmly welcomed by not only the host but their friendly dogs too. It is a pity we stayed only one night.

With every chalet being built by Pete and Catherine, you will never stay anywhere like this ever again. Each chalet is rustic, comfortable, having both excellent views and facilities. The family and all their pets are very welcoming and I would stay here again without hesitation
We had a lovely stay. Our hosts were more than accommodating and Hhusha Hhusha is simply a lovely place to hang out and relax. Absolutely felt as if we were at home, yet catered to as well. The recommendations for local restaurants were excellent as was park advice. Melalane Gate is 5 minute drive.
It was my second stay in this hotel, which is conviniently located near to gate of Kruger park. Rooms are ok, staff friendly and nearby Buffalo restaurant is also perfect choice.

We had a pleasant stay, albeit for 1 night. It was very hot and humid and unfortunately the aircon in the bar area was not working which made things uncomfortable. The aircon in our room was leaking water onto the curtains. Perhaps management could see to the repair of these then I would happily change to 5 stars.

I booked on short notice for a bridal party for the day before the wedding. We only arrived at 23:00 but everything was beautiful and so neat. We got a lovely breakfast in bed the next morning. They even organized a bed for the baby. Would definitely come and stay again.
A really lovely place to stay. Close to a number of Kruger Park gates and convenient for sightseeing in Blyde River Canyon. The proprietors proved to be excellent hosts. Game drives were awesome. Everything was awesome. Each staff member knew my name and addressed me personally. Food, drink, the entire experience could not have been better. Beautiful facilities, beautiful room, all-inclusive five star experience. I hope I have the opportunity to return. I cried as I left — felt like family! You cannot go wrong staying here.
