Where to stay in Gyeonggi
Gyeonggi hotels & accommodations

We went to Everland and after a long day out in the park with 2 small kids, we knew the 45 minute drive back home would be brutal so we just decided to stay nearby and found that place with ample underground parking, a very nice Korean woman who spoke English fairly well. I could tell at one point that she used to be very good but is now maybe out of practice but she w...

i take bus far away from incheon airport, i had to take 2.5 hours to icheon Miranda Hotel. And i need to walk around 10 minutes from icheon bus termination or take a taxi (W$2400). No any famous food to eat and i spend $120000 to eat one dinner only for two kind of food and teste no good. so i feel so expensive.

I’ve been visiting korea 13 times but, i never found place like this. this place amazed me so much... clear air, nice food, far from noises, staff was so warm, room was so comfortable, church for praying. Feels like home. No need to go far to enjoying tourism. It’s enough for me to have traveling around hotel. Since my purpose is “healing” so I love to spend my whole ...

The stay was pleasant, Unfortunately they didn't have a swimming pool, the breakfast was nothing amazing, been to other hotels with the same price tag and the breakfast was ten times better. The location is obviously the best thing about this hotel, the rooms are brand new but the noise near the rail wasn't pleasant as it woke me up in the morning though managed to s...

My family and I enjoyed two days. We did one day of sledding and did the following day with some ski lessons that were at a discounted rate of 40% if we stayed in the hotel. Service was great! They did some on the spot changes to accommodate our family needs. Be aware that the descriptions of what you are getting may be slightly off due to translation issues. Fo...

Second time to stay with Ramada Plaza Suwon. The hotel is almost the only option for business visitors to Suwon, the only 5 stars hotel in Suwon. The location is the central of the city but still several miles from subway station. Room is clean and comfortable, as usual. One reminder is toothpaste and toothbrush is not included in room charge, you need to pay for it...

We had a very lovely stay at this hotel. The design of our room was nice and cosy, bed was comfortable and you can get a softer pillow on request. Though the staff can only speak limited English but they were still very helpful and tried their best to help with our request. The hotel is also close to the subway station and bus terminal with only less than 10 mins walk....

It is a typical Ibis hotel. Built recently thus all the rooms are pretty new and clean. Small gym but enough to get you sweat. The only down side for me is the location. I need to go to other town outside Suwon by subway and the hotel is not any near to the station. I need to pay US$15 - US$20 to get to the subway station. Also, the breakfast is expensive. There is a 2...

I booked this place in a pinch and was able to get a good price. I brought two kids , 8 and 9, which were quite happy with the room and the amenities. The restaurant looked nice but we didn't try, although we plan to go back just for dinner. Close to Yeongtong, Dongtan, Samsung H campus, and good transportation, yet in a quite area not bothered by heavy traffic.

A friend and I stayed at the Rest Hotel during a long layover. It was about 20 minutes away from the Gimpo-si airport. The hotel/rooms was very clean spacious and there were a lot of amenities....even a flat iron. The hotel also offers a nice room service menu.

this is the best hotel that i have stay so far in korea. most stuff hardly know english but one of the night staff that do have speak english is really very helpful. the cleaner lost my toy bear and the counter staff manage to found it. i appreciate it very much. the toilet is big, there is no bottle shampoo, shower gel.. only pkt form. will be good if they give bottle...

Keset dari kamar mandi tidak ada, namun sendal ada. Kipas angin untuk ruang tamu juga disediakan. Diluar ruangan juga tersedia air minum yang tersedia di galon galon. Sehingga sangat membantu. Channel TV juga tersedia. Pokoknya tidak akan kecewa jika berkunjung.

Staff and service of the hotel were excellent and pleasant. They were highly professional and courteous. I love their idea of having a separate women-only floor. It shows their sensitivity to the clients' need and comfort. The room had everything I needed and the bathroom was well designed. and equipped.

I enjoyed my stay. However, the holiday weekend slowed down service considerably and made parking frustrating. The room is modern and comfortable. The bed is heavenly. However, there are a couple of features that aren't great for kids: sharp corners in the bathroom and no handrails in the parking lot. That said, I plan to stay here again.

I have stayed in other hotels in the area but by far this is the best one. The hotel is new and you can still feel that things are not yet all 100% working as they should be: Check is staff cannot give you more then 1 electronic key card. You always have to gif rut back when you leave the hotel every time. The cleaning staff for some reason where sure that we are just...

The front desk staff at this hotel is excellent. Even when large groups are checking in, they make sure to take care of me along side of the group rather than making me wait for the large group to complete their check in. I wish this hotel was closer to the train station or bus stations, and I REALLY wish that taxi drivers would learn how to find it, but I am very plea...

For a boutique hotel, i am surprised that its big inside. Very beautiful and clean concept. A tub which is really food a hot dip under the cold weather. Bed are really comfortable but only 1 problem, the pillows should be of the right size. its kinda small especially if they are Caucasians. Very good quality beds as well! Fast internet speed is a bonus for a workaholic...

Cheap places to stay in Gyeonggi

Hard to find. Taxi driver had trouble. One of best location in town for sightseeing and food. Room not clean, but common room and kitchen in good shape and comfortable. Paid a little extra for room with private bath and well worth it. Wireless internet does not reach into room, but large table handy in common room with good service.

It is not a 1-star hotel because it is only an hostel with shared bathrooms and all the beds are in double-deck form. It is still a comfortable stay, great value for $ if you don't mind the slight squeeze and queues in the morning. Breakfast is also self service, with no directions given, so it took several digs before we found instant noodle packs and the pans to fry ...

My stay was great. Only had one issue but staff quickly took care of the problem and moved me to new room. The hotel was away from a good majority of the hustle bussel which was great. It was all still within walking distance. I would stay at the hotel again.

I traveled to Suwon for a military Ball. This hotel was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom had everything I needed. The jets worked on the whirlpool. The staff spoke great English. The parking is great. They will valet your vehicle. You can't beat the value!!! The owner, Tommy, is marvelous. He takes great care.of the customers and is pl...

This hotel was wonderful for the area it was located in. It was near one of the fortress gates and you can go on the hike along the fortress wall all the way to the top for epic views of the entire city. There is a bus stop literally a minute outside the hotel and shops and restaraunts within a 3-5 min walk north. The rooms were big, clean and comfortable with decent v...

I didn't know what to expect with this hotel, and it really surprised me! The room was clean and very large. The bathroom attached to the hotel was very big, and everything was supplied. The only downside was that the walls are very thin. The room next to us were very loud and we could hear everything they said or did.

I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone hoping to stay a night or two to visit Everland or ski at Jisan Resort. Walking distance to Everland-Jongdae train station and Parking 4,5 for Everland shuttle. A lot of shops, restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Staff was very helpful even with their limited english. When asking for directions though, as much as p...

Definitely I will come back another time. Staff are very friendly. I would put this hotel into more upscaled newly built 9 story ‘motel’ category. In Korea, most of motels have 1 or 2 computers are equipped with super fast internet connection. Many Koreans play/enjoy computer games in motel as well. I think I requested a non smoking room but there was an ashtray in the...

It is an excellent place to stay. Spacious rooms, well taken care, and an outstanding staff. The hotel rooms are clean, the beds were soft, the shower was amazing and the breakfast is good. The hotel’s location is very good when you want to travel with public transport Everything is perfect at the Spa & Lounge on the rooftop. The setting is tranquil and quiet. The mass...

The hotel is near one of the larger Samsung complexes in Dongtan. If you have any reason to want to be near there, it's an ideal starting point for your purposes. Also, the staff seemed to be trying to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The room was clean, though the bathtub on the small side. If you are not short (and thin), that may be a problem. Perhaps a mo...

This is a brand-new hotel just a few streets away form the subway/train station. There are lots of eating options and supermarktes nearby. We got an upgrade when we arrived, the room was a deluxe room, though we booked a standard one. The arrangement and design is very nice, the room was very spacious and everything was clean. The older staff member (maybe the owner?) ...

Even though the website said there was English speaking staff, when I said I was checking in I got a blank stare so I'm not sure how well it would have gone if I had an issue (I had no problems). The hotel was much closer to Uijeongbu station than I expected. My friend and I got a room with 2 queen size beds for a great price. The size of the room was great and it was ...

Booked the room on the morning of check-in for a Super-Twin for 3 as indicated available by Agoda. Received calls from hotel staff 2 hours later that the hotel is fully booked for the Super-Twin. We were offered 2 deluxe rooms which we have to accept as we are on the road and has no access to internet to re-booked with other hotel. Paid extra for the change. (Would app...

Second stay here. Little on the high price side however you get everything you pay for. Service is fantastic as is the rooms and location in terms of where we needed to go. Around the hotel are plenty of alternatives if you want to eat out. Bed is super comfortable and the staff are always attentive and pleased to help. Great stay.

We stayed 3 nights to use it as a base to go Everland and KFV. The taxi fare is around Krw 12000 to visit Everland. There lots of gd small local restaurants around the hotel. We randomly picked restaurants throughout our stay and were never disappointed on both quality and prices. While the staff generally speak Korean, all did their best to help us with our order...

Pros: easy check in; large , quiet, and well equipped rooms; good food including a great breakfast buffet; lovely hot spring with modern facilities; many amenities including karaoke and convenience store. The lake offers a nice and easy 4 loop hike. Cons: hard to get to, especially by public transit; not much in the immediate area besides the lake. No extras (breakfa...

The hotel itself is good.. the rooms are clean and beds are nice. The breakfast buffet is so-so but it was free so you can’t complain for free. The surrounding area doesn’t have much around it so don’t expect to do much outside of the hotel. There is a few restaurants and a 7-11 but that’s about it.

Nice hotel but the location not really favorable and very hard to find taxi .. cannot book taxi to ansan station and location of nowhere only have convenient store .. and when we are check out on sunday - its so hard to find taxi but lucky the hotel manager very kind and help to send us to near ansan station ..

Finding this hotel is a gem. Location is great just a few minutes walk from Suwon City Hall station surrounded by many stores and restaurants. The staff speaks limited English but they are very nice. Cleanliness is a plus. Love the big room and the shower room. I just hope they have a telephone in the room. I will definitely book this hotel again when I go back to Suw...

The train station is about 500 mtrs from the hotel and is very much accessible to go any part of seoul. There are plenty if restaurants between hotel and train station. You feel lively on the streets of restaurant. Hotel staff s are very friemdly and one Mr. Santosh could speak English so foreigners should be worried about language to communicate. Air condition is...

Very clean room with breakfast for two. I book the room without breakfast but the staff gives breakfast coupons to every room, I guest. The breakfast was nice, not many choices but everything you can eat. I have my one year old baby and the room has one double bed and one single bed which is perfect for us. Highly recommended hotel!

Stayed 14 nights whilst visiting our son in Yeongtong, Suwon. Hotel collected us from bus stop and returned us at end of stay, both complimentary trips. Staff very helpful, particularly room cleaners as we kept strange hours. Rules of hotel say no food in your room and no guests after 10.00 pm, but ignore those rules, no problems with either. Breakfast typical Korean w...

The hotel and the room is very clean and tidy, and well-maintained. The things in the room look very new i.e. the beds, furniture, bathroom, etc. all spotlessly clean. The staff are also very friendly and can speak reasonable English. A convenience store is located just across the street and some shops nearby. There is also a playground about 5 mins' walk from hotel. W...

Korean hotels tend to be extremely low quality for the price you pay, but this place breaks that trend. It's a decent hotel at a decent price. If you have business in the area, it's the only place to stay. There are a few quirks with the rooms, like the hot/cold taps being reversed, but otherwise it's a good stay.

The hotel was awesome. It was not like other Korean hotels. Very clean, and comfort for single business traveller. Unfortunately it might be hard to get there if you cannot speak Korean. Because, subway station is not close. Otherwise, it will be the best location for you. An university is just next, very fast and comfort buses connected to seoul. I think the cost is...

I switched from a different place in Youngtong. If you can snag a room for 50,000 KRW (50USD) This is a good deal. The staff knows English well enough, the rooms are very comfortable and have the ability to block out sunlight well. Although I asked for a non smoking room, there was a lighter and ashtray on the table. Regardless, it didn't have that horrible cigarette s...
