Wrong hotel”

I booked for PC Palace but the hotel is actually PC Grand Palace, a totally different hotel. There are no facilities locally - it’s in the middle of nowhere.

Were on Business with the owner's other company”

The last time we stayed, the owner called to the reception and we got an upgrade at a big discount (this was before the hotel was on Agoda.) Assuming similar arrangements could be made we made reservations directly thru Agoda. The Superior room, even though it said was for 2 people (and we requested special requirements), it only had single beds, very hard. Were told that one could only get a double or queen bed was to get the deluxe room (hotel only had superior or deluxe.) The price would then go from 600 baht to 1500 baht. The free breakfast wss very Thai style, coffee was instant, no tea, and the juice was not a fruit juice, but a red drink. It was a very quiet hotel but in the morning between the slamming of doors and the squeaking of chairs across the floor it was a little noisy. Our conclusion was this hotel was for the transient salesmen or women who had come to Sakon Nakhon on business and would be moving on to their next city to meet other customers.

A very, very reasonably priced business hotel”

We have stayed at the GP Hotel three times now since it is very close to the business my wife has as a customer for her products. It is new, mayber less than 18 months old. Some people may not feel the class of the hotel is not to their liking, but it iis considered a 'Thai Business Hotel' in a small city. The hotel is well maintained and there is a very good restaurant in walking distance. It provides a 'thai' style breakfast. Other items to consider, you need your own transportation since it is difficult to find any public or tuk-tuk service there. They have hi-speed internet but when we were there, their wireless system was not working correctly so I could not login. Some suggestions for the hotel - 1.) they need to have some type of low bench to set one's suitcase on, had to put on the floor or in the closet. We were upgraded to a 'suite' type room with a bathtub/shower but no shower curtain so much water went onto the floor. They provide very, very small soaps which are difficult to use. We will continue to use this hotel when we travel to Sakon Nahkon.

perfect as we were visiting family with 11 month old hotel was very clean room was great size and kept clean, breakfast was buffet style and tasted good nice bar opposite with karaoke and good staff receptionists were very helpful and friendly, would stop here again no worries made stay pleasurable

Cockroach problem”

I had a decent stay at PC Grabd Palace for the price, but unfortuNtely found a cockroach in my room running about. The beds are a little stiff but I expected as much for the price. However, the staff was nice and the breakfast alright. If they get rid of the roaches, I would consider another stay.

Badly located, poorly signposted.”

Badly located with signage seemingly hidden. The hotel was nowhere near anywhere to eat in the evening. Bed was as hard as I have ever tried to sleep in.

Won't stay here again”

Located in the middle of nowhere with no transportation or bike rentals. Nonattentive staff with no English language skills. Restaurant breakfast not very good. Used mostly by Thai business people for staff meetings. Not recommended for the Western tourist.

Personnel accueillant, Chambre propre, salle de bain mal équipée et peu fonctionnelle, mauvaise prestation pour le petit déjeuner,très peu de choix et en faible quantité.

Schlechte Jugendherberge ”

Beim einschicken wurde uns direkt klargemacht als agoda Kunde bekommt man ein kleineres Zimmer.. die Zimmertür lies sich sehr sehr schwer öffnen. Zimmer hatte einen Wasserschaden. Unter dem Schaden lagen noch Handtücher um die Feuchtigkeit aus der Zimmerdecke aufzufangen. Frühstück war schlechter als in jeder Jugendherberge. Kaffee nur aus Plastikbecher. Keine Untertassen. Tische waren nicht eingedeckt. Keine frische Milch - kein Obst - kein Müsli - Toast musste am Buffet geschmiert werden da der gesamte Frühstücksraum nur 2 Messer besaß. Über Geschmack lässt sich streiten aber die gekochten Speisen entsprachen nicht unserem Geschmack. Habe alles fotografiert. Wie das Hotel auf 3,5 Sterne gekommen ist ist wohl eine Preisfrage. Fazit: einmal und NIE WIEDER.

Oud en versleten ”

Oud hotel, de badkamer heeft dringend onderhoud nodig, wc bril is dringend aan vervanging toe, handdoek rek valt van de muur, de flatscreen tv is nieuw, matras keihard, scharnieren van kleerkast maken hels lawaai! Ontbijt is beneden alle peil! Rijst en andere schotels en eierschotels zijn koud en poederkoffie met lauw water, enkel een beetje bessendrank! Zeer triest!!

Gedateerd hotel”

Bij aankomst vroeg men mij de rekening van de geboekte kamer te betalen in cash geld, mijn Mastercard werd niet aanvaard. Bij de boeking heb ik de wens uitgedrukt dat ik een tweepersoons bed wou, dit was bij aankomst niet mogelijk enkel twins. Volgens een medewerkster van het hotel die in hetzelfde dorp woont als mijn echtgenote worden er voor Agoda slechts 5 kamers gereserveerd, in het ganse hotel sliepen er volgens mij maar een 20-tal gasten. De matras was verschrikkelijk hard, juist een houten plank, je kon ze niet indrukken. Als je niet te oud bent is het doenbaar om je bagage zelf naar boven te slepen, anders..... ??er was niemand voorzien. Het ontbijt is aanvaardbaar, geen grote keuze, enkel poeder koffie en melk en het brood en konfituur werd met de voetsteuntjes in water geplaatst anders kropen de mieren erin. Storend was ook dat het personeel luidkeels in de ontbijt ruimte met elkaar communiceerde.

場所が解りにくい。部屋にトイレの臭いが充満し雨漏りで床が濡れている。部屋の説明書やメニューは全てタイ語のみ。向かいのカラオケ店からの騒音は深夜まで続く。アミニティは星獲得の為用意した様なお粗末な物でとても使用出来るレベルではない。ベッドは板の様に硬いマットレスで未だ腰痛が治らない。シャワーや蛇口の水の出も当然悪い。サコンナコンで今まで泊まったホテルのなかで最低です。

Clean and good. There are many choices for the buffet, but at night the restaurant near the room is very noisy.

Room condition and staff”

At check-in counter, the staff were chatting and not paying attention to customers. The room was in poor condition and the bathroom had a strong odor that required opening the window to air out.

ทำเล - อยู่ค่อนมานอกตัวเมือง แต่ไม่มาก มีร้านอาหารใกล้เคียงแต่ต้องขับรถ มีสถานบันเทิง/ร้านเหล้าใกล้ๆ(ต้องขับรถเช่นกัน) ห้องพัก - ห้องกว้างมากๆ สไตล์เหมือนหอพัก ห้องสะอาดดี เตียงนุ่มปานกลาง มีทีวี มีน้ำดื่มบริการ อาหารเช้า - มี (1)ข้าวสวย (2)กับข้าวสองอย่าง (3)ข้าวต้ม (4)ขนมปังปิ้ง (5)ไข่ดาว (6)ไส้กรอก (7)น้ำแดงจางๆ/น้ำเปล่า/กาแฟ พนักงาน - โดยทั่วไปดี เพิ่มเติม - มีห้องโถงสำหรับจัดงานขนาดใหญ่มาก และมีที่จอดรถเยอะมากๆ
