Good deal ”
nice budget hotel, suits all what we need. wil definitely stay here again for the next visit
Would come here again”
It's a bit far from the train station, but the hostel makes up for that by being right on the edge of the aquarium and Umekoji Park. Instructions on how to get in were very clear, and the rooms were well maintained.
Cheating, greedy hostel!!!”
Greedy hostel, would not recommend it to anyone. I booked this hostel for my dad, due to the covid -19, my dad's flight has been cancelled; also Australia has shut down their borders, there's no way anyone can fly out. I called agoda to ask the hostel for a refund, they said no. So I tried to call the hostel myself so many times to discuss this matter with them, and they did not answer my phone calls. I have been to Japan so many times, this is the 1st time i ever I see japanese people are so greedy want to keep our money when they know most countries has shut down their borders because of the covid- 19. I wanted to give it a zero star, but agoda star lowest is 1. Very upset, please do not ever book this hostel!!!!!
Tiny, no chair no (proper) desk, not so comfortable”
I used a room for 2 on my own and it still felt a bit small. If 2 people had luggages, I cant imagine how cramped up they would be in that tiny space where there isnt even a decent desk or chair. If youre not gonna stay bedridden when youre indoors then this is not gonna be the place for you. But I do have to say it was super cheap so if you just need a place to be able to sleep and keep all your stuff this may be good enough for you.
Great place. Worth for Money ”
Pros: All the basic necessities are there. It comes with washing machine which is really good for traveler that bring lesser clothes. Cons: it’s far from Kyoto station. Have to take bus and it’s confusing where to take bus because the bus stop all hav same name. I suggest the hotel to come out with simple guide on how to take bus to Kyoto station , with bus stop and bus stated clearly. Thank you
