Old Montreal hotels & accommodations

Leave your car at the curb, they’ll take care of it. Proceed to front desk and check in with a charming, helpful clerk. Admire the art work in the lobby, have a cocktail in the bar then head to your room. Be sure you check out the original artwork of modern artists along the way. Your room is airy very high ceilings and ours was painted a serene blue. The bed is very c...

Location! Location! Location! 2 blocks from Notre dame Basilica and it is located within old Montreal! It is a little bit expensive but if you have the money to splurge then it's all worth it! The concierge staff are spectacular as well as the staff in the reception! Valet staff is excellent and very calm and nice! Westin is also 20 minutes walk to downtown Montreal! T...

We chose the Intercontinental Montreal for a short break due to its proximity to the train station and the old town, as well because it appeared to be by far the cheapest 4 Star hotel in Montreal - something that made me a little worried. I had read the reviews before booking and was expecting an older hotel that was nothing particularly special. In fact, myself, my wi...

I went to Montreal for riding bike in Lachine canal. This was a great find. Very very comfortable and stylish room, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, right in the middle of the cobbled streets of Vieux Montreal. Delicious breakfast, they have a restaurant and bar as well which we did not try out but it looked great. Can thoroughly recommend if you want a special stay away from chain hotels. Will definitely be back.

It started out badly by the guy at the reception gave us an attitude when he could not find our reservation even though we called twice before that to confirm. Room smells musky. Not clean carpet (our white socks became black walking on this carpet). Poor breakfast (dried eggs, undercooked potatoes). Overall, not worth the money. Not recommended !!!

We had a wonderful stay in this delightful hotel! The location is perfect, the staff were helpful, kind and pleasant. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and a welcome treat at the end of a long warm day. We were located across the hall from the elevator and still the room was exceptionally quiet and we really appreciated the t...

Great property and location., which can not be faulted. Unusual concept where there are not front of house staff to meet/interact with. The room we had was equipped with cooking facilities, which was used to make a meal with ingredients purchased from the Jean Talon market.
