Nakhon Sawan City Center hotels & places to stay

The Air Con is brand LG which has a fan mode of low & is medium-low quiet, don't know why the fan "Super Low" can't be set though, otherwise, it'll be the best for the sleeping. But compare to other hotel using the Central Air system, it's a lot quiet. TV should includes Amarin, and many more of Digital TVs. I like the shower head & the water pressure here. The breakfast might not be the best but it's good enough when compare to those best rating hotels in Nakhon Sawan. The bed are comfy and this time around after 3 years ago stay, no noise of Disco or Concert from back of the hotel. Oh, forget to note that there's a construction for a new building inside the hotel area. During the day, you shouldn't park your car there as those dust or noise would get you mad. If just staying overnight, highly recommended.

We read other reviews and are not sure we agree with all of them. Yes, the staff speak little English, but they were very kind and helpful. Rooms are nicely appointed, and looking at the tile work and decoration, a lot of care has gone into them. Can’t remember when I last saw a bathroom tiled to the ceiling. Sure, breakfast is basic, but it has everything for a nice quick bite and they prepare your eggs the way you want. Add the style of the hotel, where they have made nice use of cast iron and wooden furniture: we arrived in the evening and had a great time exploring the place in the morning. Quite different from your usual concrete box. We’ll be back for sure!

Having lived in Nakhon Sawan a few years ago, I have always thought this vibrant city needed a modern hotel catering for travelers, tourists and professional visitors. In the Paradiso JK Design Hotel, that's exactly what it has now got, and it is amazing value for money. The location, on the Phitsanulok Road, though not in the hub of the city, is easy to locate and ideal for through travelers. The hotel exterior is imposing and the car park is large. Enter, and the reception and lobby does not disappoint, spotlessly clean, and obviously laid out by an interior designer of some skill and imagination. The lifts are great, whilst the hallways are wide and carpeted. Approach the doors of the room, you will find they are big, modern and secure. The rooms are more or less flawless, the A/C was a little on the noisy side and there was no bath, but other than that great, contemporary furniture, large flat-screen tv that took a flash memory stick, quick internet and a very comfortable bed that promised and delivered a good night's sleep. Breakfast was typical Thai fare, slightly above average but not exceptional. My only complaint was the staff were not particularly helpful or friendly. It could have been the fact that there was a troop of important local government representatives in the hotel and they were deemed of greater worthiness than an aging farang, his wife and a slightly hyperactive young son. Also the price of a beer was extortionate, well over three times what I charge in my own resort/hotel. In conclusion and summation: The Paradiso is an excellent addition to Nakhon Sawan, and as long as the prices do not escalate too rapidly, it will become my resting place of choice on my frequent visits to the city. 18/20

We were travelling south from Chiang mai in the car and needed to find somewhere to stop for the night so I logged into the Agoda app on my iphone and found this new hotel in Nakhon Sawan. we didn't have a printer obviously so when we arrived at 10:20pm at night all I could do was show the girl on reception, the confirmation on my iphone, this was no problem for them, she also said that although the room service was supposed to finish at 10pm, if we wanted something to eat when we had settled in the room, we could call her and she would arrange it for us. The hotel is very easy to find as it stands up high above most things although it is set back a bit from the road. Its the newest hotel in nakhon Sawan so theerefore everything in it is clean and new. the breakfast is good for thai food, which was fine for me and my thai girlfriend, but if you are hoping for an american or english breakfast you might be a little dissapointed. they have a chef stood cooking eggs to your liking though.

I am now a member of the Boycott Hop Inns Club. They would not accept my Thai driving license (which has my passport number on its face as the ID number), with no explanation for why. I live in Thailand and do not carry my passport. I've been to hundreds of Thai hotels and never had a problem with the drivers license. In Nakhon Sawan there are better value hotels, sure h as the PA Place or PA Thani, and which are located in better locations if driving around from the hotel.

Having visited Nakhon Sawan many times but never stayed overnight we decided to stop over on our trip to Chiang Rai. I booked the room on Agoda at lunch time and we were checking in at the hotel by 4pm. It was easy to find with a big clear sign and even easier to park with a big clear car park. Unfortunately it was raining when we arrived which was not entirely unsurprising since it was the rainy season. We were checked in within 2 minutes with the only oddity that we had to leave a deposit of 100 baht. Clearly popular with the locals, the PA Thani hotel staff struggled with English but the check in was completely painless nevertheless. The room was on the 3rd floor of a total of 7 floors with but the one lift. Still the time spent waiting for the lift was very minimal and we had no complaints. The staff were polite, cheerful and professional which I always find to be key to a happy stay art any hotel. The room was very clean, very functional and comfortable and everything worked perfectly. The bed was warm and comfortable and there was a big flat screen tv. We also had a balcony and the only small complaint with that was that the door was strangely short and I banged my head a couple of times. Due to the rain we dined at the hotel and found the Thai food served there to be very enjoyable and very reasonably priced too. At around 7pm the rain stopped and although it was dark I took a walk to the Sawan Park. Within minutes of the hotel I walked past restaurants bakeries and coffee shops. Within 10 minutes I was at the park which due to the wet weather and it being dark was deserted. With the source off the Chao Phraya river about 20 minutes walk away the location of the PA Thani hotel was pretty much perfect. We spent a very pleasant night there and had a perfectly adequate breakfast with the coffee as a highlight (I have the highest regard for establishments that invest in a decent coffee machine! ). Overall an excellent place to stay.

A nice place with clean well maintained and tastefylly furnished rooms. Very high standard. Well placed. Right behind the Nahon Sawan beautiful park, walking distance to the licely night bazar. The yellow hop on/hop off taxi gets you there from the busvterminal for 10 Bahts. Nakhon sawan wat is a few blicks down to the left. And warth a visit at prayer times Very comfortable! The staff is also extremly nice, however, the reception staff was a little hard to understand Note: there's a second place about 50 meters down the block, named P. A. Thani. They are the same chain but not the same place. If you get first to PA Thani, they transfer you with their vehicle to PA Place. Warmly recomended! .

This is a nice place to stay for those who don't want to stay in the middle of Nakhon Sawan. The hotel lobby was being renovated, and the entire hotel appeared to have been upgraded recently. The room was large by Thai hotel standards, and the bathroom was reasonably well-sized, and included a bathtub. Typical of most hotels I have used in Thailand, the Internet (free wi-fi) was unreliable; it worked when I first arrived, but never consistently again, despite my attempts to help staff get it up and working again. The restaurant was quite good, and the free breakfast was decent as well. Some staff (especially the night desk staff) spoke good English, some none at all (apparently). Overall, a pleasant stay and good value for the money.

My second stay in Wangpla Villa Resort, and we would certainly book again on our next trip to Nakhon Sawan. The chalets are excellent, with large ensuite, comfortable beds, refrigerator and flat screen TV. Very clean, serviced daily,and the staff were friendly and helpful. We availed of the restaurant,and the food was of a high standard and reasonly priced. The complimentary coffee was excellent.

The resort is 18km away from the City Centre towards Kramphaeng Phet. If you love natures and a quite atmosphere, then I highy recommended that you stay at this resort. It's clean, quiet, away from the hassle of big city. Amenities are nearby as long as you have vehicle. They have a pong next to a gathering area where you can cook your own meal. The owner can speak fluent English. The staff are friendly too. You can have a peaceful stay here.

Daily rooms group d floor have an extra door and private parking area. Huge double doors if you want to let air in. Nice surroundings and garden area behind . I actually decided to make it my monthly stay.. it's a bit of a classy establishment. Very clean and roomy. Has elevator. Local sellers and shops are walking distances but better with motorcycle. Staff is very friendly and will assist if your not a Thai speaker. The GM is fluent in English.

Nice, clean and comfortable rooms with wifi internet and LCD TVs (thai channels only). If you have to stay 1-2 nights on the budget in Nakhon Sawan this place is good for sleep. No restaurant on the resort's place but there is a restaurant/bar next to it with live music at nights. The place is quite hard to find, it's far from the main roads but asking around the locals can help you to find because according to our experience most local people knows the place (thai speaking required).

This is a budget hotel with nice clean rooms and friendly front desk staff who are more than happy to help you in any way. The only slight complaint I have is that the hotel is not easy to find as it is not on the main street, but inside a very narrow alley. At the same time, it does have a small advantage in that it is more quiet and secluded inside the alley. On the plus side, the hotel is situated within a very short walking distance to the riverside area, where the main attraction of the night bazaar is located. There are a myriad of roadside food eateries to be found in that area, which can make choosing what to eat a somewhat difficult decision, as you would want to try everything. It is a very lively area where many locals seem to go to every night, as the whole area is packed with people. Therefore, I would say all in all, this is a good budget hotel that is worth a short stay while you are in Nakhon Sawan.
