“Great Hotel with Friendly Staff ”
Our trip to Tokyo started with a hiccup when another hotel unexpectedly rejected our check-in as a family of four due to booking issues. Scrambling for an alternative on the same day was stressful, but booking MIMARU Nihombashi Suitenguemae turned out to be a blessing in disguise—we truly found a gem. From the moment we checked in, we were warmly greeted by the reception staff, Izumi. She was bubbly, genuinely helpful, and very well-versed in English. What stood out most was her friendly tone and familiar slang—it felt just like home and immediately put us at ease. She even took the time to inform us about TCAT, which was such a blessing as it allowed us to take a direct airport limousine bus directly to the airport which is really convenient. The hotel itself was spacious, beds are comfortable, with a great location. It’s within 5 minutes walking distance to the train station (Hanzomon line), and having Lawson and 7-Eleven nearby made everything so convenient, especially with kids. Upon check-out, Izumi surprised us with a small handwritten departure card. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that truly made our stay memorable. If there’s anything that could be improved, it would be the Wi-Fi, which was occasionally a little laggy. It would also be wonderful if the room had a bathtub to soak in after a long day of walking. However, these were only minor issues. Overall, we were absolutely delighted that we found this gem of a place. MIMARU turned what could have been a stressful trip into a warm and memorable stay, and we would happily return again.
