    Location, location, location. ”

I stayed from 22 to 28 Nov 2023. The best thing about this hotel is how close you are to a train station; Higashi-ginza on the Hibiya line. Not only that, it's also the ease of getting to and from that station. I just checked on Google maps: it's only 25 metres from the lift door to the hotel's front door! As travellers, we have luggage and stairs are our worst enemy. But in Tokyo, train stations are full of stairs! It's even worse when you're going home with shopping or if you're not young anymore. As for the room, it was clean. And it was spacious for Tokyo standards. Granted, I was alone but a couple should have no problems. Only one sink though so you gotta share but the counter is big. Water pressure was good and the washlet is separated from the shower area. To be honest, I was at times a little creeped out. This is because the washlet automatically opens as you're near and closes when you're not. So sometimes, I kept thinking someone was my door but it's just the washlet.
Wifi was fast and stable. There were three lifts so I never had to wait. The staff were always helpful and approachable. All spoke good English. Some could also speak Mandarin (three languages). Even though they always worked fast, they never seemed to pass on this "stressed" vibe to the customer. I can't comment on the in-house breakfast as I didn't eat there. However, there are three, yes 3, convenience stores within walking distance. My favourite was the 7 11 at 150 metres away. There's also FamilyMart and Lawson if you prefer those.
One downside, was the view. The view was terrible. I could see into the next building so I'm pretty they could see into my room too. So I had my blinds down almost all the time. That said, personally, I don't stay in the room most of the time. I'm out exploring, shopping etc so if that means a cheaper room, why not? I didn't notice any laundromats in the area so I used the in-house cleaning service which wasn't cheap. However, as one other customer mentioned, unless you're planning on doing luxury shopping, there might be better places to stay. Would I stay here again? It's in my list for sure.

    Great well rounded hotel!”

Stayed in a Comfort Queen room during our trip to Japan. Room size was very good for Tokyo standards (237sq ft). While most hotels researched had the beds against the walls, there is actually space on both sides of the bed, which was nice. The staff were great- responsive and and very helpful. Our bidet motor was running loud and the staff quickly resolved the issue. Another nice layout feature is that the shower, toilet and sink are all separated vs the usual cramp layout at other hotels. Hotel looked great and location is excellent. There are good restaurants to eat at right at its doorsteps, shopping at flagship Uniqlo + Ginza Six is just a 5 min walk. Other stores like Itoya and Muji are within 10m walk. There are two unmarked staircase access <1m from the hotel that takes you underground to the Ginza or the Higashi-Ginza station. Great value overall. Minor things were no coin laundry (there is laundry service, which is excellent, but pricey) and no fitness center. Would still recommend staying here, 100%.

    LOCATION, STYLE & SERVICE”

After a week prior in Shinjuku which was sensory overload the Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel was a perfect 2nd stop in Tokyo. This hotel was my choice and her were so many positives. 1. The location is literally right at the door of Ginza Higashi (this is the subway line) and 1 stop 200 metres to Ginza Station (this is the JR Line). We traveled to and from Ginza Higashi station (remember to use the lift once you ascend the first few flights of stairs. 2. The room was bigger than our previous Tokyo stop - beautiful tiles, ammenities. high big window which looked out over the Main Street in Ginza with both a complete blockout blind and shaded blind. Lighting was great. Netflix was available to log on along with other platforms like Prime, Hulu etc using your own log in. The shower was powerful and was seperate to the bath so you you didn't have to crawl into a bath to shower. 3. Housekeeping were fabulous and were available to clean rooms or provide towels 10-2. 4. The front desk staff were fabulous. I was on holidays with my 22 year old daughter and my husband had a major heart attack back in Sydney one day before we were due to check out and travel on to Hokkaido. Wait was super helpful and sat on hold for a long period attempting to help my with flights and hotel cancellations. All staff spoke basic English was was helpful. 4. The location as mentioned above was Excellent - close to some great Ramen places and bars. (all within a block ). 5 stars for location , service and price

    Convenient hotel”

I had a 9-day trip in Tokyo. Stayed at this hotel as my “home” in Tokyo city. I stayed at both Comfort and double rooms. Both are clean and lovely but Comfort room is the best for me. 1. Bed and room size are just fit with the TV set just in front of the bed. 2. There was a bigger sofa in Comfort room than double room. Chill for having snacks in the room We checked in and out the hotel a few times for departure to countryside trips. But whenever we returned, the hotel had kindly moved our luggage to our new room. Plus, we informed the hotel that there would be a box of honey delivered from Kaiiwaza. The hotel was nice enough to pick up the courier and moved to our hotel room before we returned to Tokyo city. The location is great! Ginza station, taxi stand are right out of the hotel exit. Famous souvenir shops, department stores are all around the hotel. Though we were under a tight schedule, we were able to shop all the things we needed nearby just in a morning. The hotel is new. Staff speak English well. They are nice. They called the taxi for us and proactively sheltered us from the rain with umbrella. I’m pleased with the hotel’s everything.

    Good central location in Ginza”

Stayed 4 nights in the superior twin room at this hotel. The room size is 26sq m but feels smaller than that. Rooms are relatively new, clean with a view of the city. We like that the toilet cubicle is separated from the bathroom with the sink placed just outside it. Not everyone will like this configuration but it works well for us. The bathroom has a plastic stool which is a practical touch should you need one. There is no actual closet but hangers on a rod. Everything in the room is compact like the mini safe, side tables, sofa etc. We booked the room with breakfast but it would have been better without as there are many eateries nearby and the cost of the breakfast is pretty high. This is a very busy hotel with lots of Asian tourists and the staff are engaged all the time. You will have to wait in line if you need assistance from the front desk. The best thing about this hotel is the location and access to the subway is literally at the doorstep.
