We stayed at the Deluxe Privilege Room with a King Bed on the 7th floor. I would like to highlight the bed and the breakfast. We love the bed so much. If you are that kind of person that loves to switch positions in your sleep, the bed is perfect for you. Pillows are like cloud soft and clean. They also have Black out curtains if you like it pitch black til the morning. We had the best sleeping experience. For the breakfast, it’s like a buffet style. They had loads of pastries, different selections of drinks, salad area, fruits and English breakfast. I also love how chic their dining area is. Food is lovely. Extra infos: Check in is so quick. A staff assisted us. Only requires credit/debit card just in case you get something from the room fridge, it will be deducted upon check out but no deposit required. They have a parking area but we opted to park somewhere else. Train station is nearby like 7-10mins walk. For the noise, well it is dead silent when we were there. As it is a Tuesday night. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Just didnt put 5stars for value for money as i think you can still find somewhere cheaper. Dont let this hold you back to book. It is still an amazing place to stay.

Very friendly staff, beautiful high level window view, clean and spacious room, located at a quiet and safe district which I loved it so much Daily refill of complimentary drinks with wines and beer was definitely a plus!

I booked this hotel based on the Mercure reputation, its location, and its price. I noticed that the Ibis was in the same building and cheaper, but chose the Mercure expecting a better experience. After my stay, I struggle to see what justifies the extra cost. The two hotels share the same entrance, staff, and lobby, with Mercure simply occupying the higher floors. Since the lifts are shared, you still stop at Ibis levels, making it feel less convenient rather than more premium. Amenities were very limited for a Mercure. Rooms have no fridge, so you can’t even chill water. The lobby encourages guests to refill bottles to reduce plastic waste, but staff only provide room-temperature tap water. The TV had no streaming or Wi-Fi options, and when I asked, I was given a cheap counterfeit device that required downloading a questionable app—completely unprofessional for an international brand. Even basic items like conditioner were missing. Ventilation was the biggest issue. The bathroom had no fan, so after showering the room filled with steam. Combined with the fog outside, it left everything damp; even my passport curled from the moisture. The hallways also had a strange odour, which I overheard other guests commenting on. Our toilet would occasionally make a loud drilling-like sound when flushed, making it almost impossible to use without disturbing anyone sleeping. Cleanliness and the bed were excellent, but staff service was underwhelming. I was never greeted when entering the lobby, and at one point a staff member ignored guests struggling with luggage to take a lift alone. Small details like this left a lasting poor impression. Overall, the Mercure fails to distinguish itself from the cheaper Ibis. If you book this hotel at what seems like an affordable rate, it isn’t a bargain—you’re not even getting what you paid for. This stay left me underwhelmed and, as I will soon be staying in an Autograph Collection property, it has made me seriously reconsider staying with Accor hotels in the future.
We stayed at the Mecure on our way back to London after 5 weeks in the uk. Check in was brilliant and the staff were amazing and so friendly. In fact every staff member we came in contact with (front desk, cleaners, breakfast staff), were all so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a great size and we had a wonderful view. Just a 2 minute walk to the train station (Tube, DLR and Overground). I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Mecure!
Dear Terry, Please accept our sincere thanks for this glowing review. It's wonderful you enjoyed your stay at our newly renovated Mercure London Earls Court. We're delighted our team made such a positive impression throughout your visit, from check-in to daily interactions. Our spacious rooms with city views aim to provide comfort after busy days exploring, and we're thrilled you found the location convenient for accessing London's transport network. We look forward to welcoming you back on a future occasion. Best wishes, Supriya Rai, Guest Relations Manager

“Lovely room, unprofessional encounter ruined trip.”
I chose this hotel because it is part of the Accor group, and I expected a professional and welcoming environment. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. One afternoon, I was on an important call with my boss at a table near the reception desk. There was no “reserved” sign or indication that the table was set aside. While I was on the call, a member of the front office team approached me with an unpleasant gesture and in a raised tone said, “Can you move to another table as we want to use this one?” I was taken aback, and as I was in the middle of the call, I simply replied “Ok, ok.” However, my conversation with my boss was abruptly interrupted, affecting an important work matter. I fully understand that the hotel had a group check-in and may have required the table, but the manner in which it was handled was highly unprofessional. A simple, polite request—acknowledging that I was on a call—would have been much more appropriate. If the table was needed for a group, it could have been reserved in advance to avoid such a situation. I raised this issue immediately with the front office. While the supervisor apologised and offered breakfast as a service recovery, I declined. I hope the hotel considers providing further training for staff on guest interaction, especially when guests are on a call. That said, I would also like to acknowledge the positives: the room was cosy and comfortable, the housekeeping team were very helpful, and the receptionist lady who assisted me during check-in was kind and welcoming.
Dear Aung, Thank you very much for your review of your recent stay. We appreciate you taking time to highlight your experience in our newly refurbished spaces. Our team takes particular pride in maintaining helpful housekeeping standards and ensuring welcoming first impressions through our reception colleagues. These elements form the foundation of our service philosophy. However, we regret to know that the interaction from our staff member left you feeling disappointed and was not with an appropriate gesture or the tone of voice, during your important call. While group check-ins require careful coordination, we recognise the need for discretion in all guest communications and will reinforce this in training. Finally, we're pleased your room's comfort met expectations through our layered bedding system and contemporary design – a signature feature of our recent renovation programme. We hope to welcome you back. Best wishes, Manish Dulal, Guest Relations Manager
