Good location. Some staff members are helpful and friendly. Some will just look at you and won't even say hello as you approach Reception.
Ivana was wonderful, helpful, friendly, courteous, genuine. Another lady receptionist (tall, long hair) was lovely and always courteous and friendly.
Not a full service hotel. Room service comes and goes. Only 1 cleaner really cleaned the room properly. Thanks Aurelia. All others only changed the towels, made the bed now and again.
I was told by a receptionist (Asian lady. Not a racist. I myself am Asian. Only describing as didn't get the name) on Good Friday 2025 that because it's not a 5-star hotel, my room gets cleaned once weekly.
The same receptionist was put out when I asked for a couple of rolls of toilet paper She insisted 1 roll? And I insisted 2.
No concierge. One has to do all the hard yakka transporting and carrying luggage to and from
room.
WiFi in the room did not work for 2 weeks. Phone in the room did not work for just as long. Reported it multiple times, only to be told again and again that someone will come to fix it. No one did.
Was told that one can use coins for the laundry machine, placed $2 in it, got stuck, reported it, was told again that they will retrieve it and give it back to me. It didn't happen.
Paid $4400 to stay here for 3.5 weeks.
Disappointed to say the least.
Will have to try Holiday Inn next time. Service, facilities, amenities, hopefully, will be more guest-friendly.

“Clean, business like and very convenient”
We needed to be close to the train and bus station so the Mantra was perfect for us. The Mantra gives off more off a business vibe and it is needing some TLC in some places but the staff were friendly and helpful.. The location perfect for what we needed and the room was sufficient for our needs.

Kitchen - microwave oven, stove, fridge, cutlery, kettle, cookery and 1 cockroach
Air-conditioning - up and down (sometimes doesn’t get cold enough for the outside heat)

“Very good”
The apartment was nice and clean with everything you need. Reception was friendly. Had to pay $200 deposit though which i thought was abit pricey plus had to pay $25 for a parking space which I thought should be included with the room with the prices of the rooms
