Hotel location is about 15min walk to the nearest train station. 10min walk to the nearest convenience store. Hotel is located in a neighbourhood estate so noise levels are low and surroundings seems relatively safe. Just be prepared for the slightly long walk (which comes at the lower cost price) Do note that hotel room will only be cleaned on the 4th day of stay. However, bath towels are provided for replacement, and amenities (such as toothbrush, razor, combs) are available for self-service. No water is given, but there is a microwave and water dispenser in the common room. Hotel room itself was decently sized and equipped with a mini fridge. No safe lockers are available though. Check-in timing is listed to be after 4pm. Overall, the stay is mostly self-serviced (check in and check out), and decently priced for its location.

This hotel was perfect for us. Check in/check out simple and easy. Staff very nice, friendly, speak english and they recomend us a great place to eat (called The Bakery). Quite close to Kyoto station (10 mins). Room was clean, nice & quiet. Price more than reasonable. Value for money...big like. It offers water dispenser, clothes washing service (chargeble), smoking room and free ice-creams after 16:00 For us worked perfectly. Hope it will for you too.

Very cheap price for the space yoget and proximity to the train station. The room is spacious and clean, with a much larger bathroom that most hotels at this price. Had to wait over 2 hours for the laundry as there were just 2 machines and residents were watching it like a vultures. Would be good to have more machines. No staff on site most of the time. Despite these gripes I really appreciated the comfort that the hotel afforded and the spaciousness of it.

The hotel is located in the middle of a residential area thus, it is very quiet. The room is clean and bigger than what we expect. They have a laundry area, microwave, and give free water. They also give free ice cream at the lobby! The only thing that I didn't like is that they don't have a common/public toilet at the lobby area thus when you check out, you can not use the toilet anymore. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel. Nice and clean and affordable.

“New hotel, 15 minutes walk to the station ”
It's a bit of a walk from the station to the hotel, but there is a pathway along the north side of the railroad tracks that takes you to the small road the hotel is on. There are ramps at the over crossing, so no need to worry about stairs. Once at the hotel, check-in was on a tablet that has you enter your information and scan your passport. Instead of a room key, you are offered a pin code (similarly, the door to the lobby is accessed by a pin code that is emailed to you in advance). The room seemed very clean and new, with maybe a few scuff marks from prior person's luggage and some tea or coffee stains on the wall by the kettle. Towels and sheets were clean and tidy, but some might say that the bed is a bit hard. Bathroom was impeccable and seemed just like new. The windows will only open a little, but not much could have been seen from our room anyway. Air conditioning has control in room (instructions provided in a reference card hanging near by) and worked very well. Laundry, microwave, and water filter on 1st floor by the "smoking room" (luckily didn't cause any smell nearby). Laundry will cost about 800 yen to wash and dry (about twice the price of the local laundromat down the street, but far more convenient to have on-site), but machine only takes 100 yen coins. There is a change machine at the tablet where you check-in, but it was out of coins when I tried to use it. Follow the instructions on the tablet to use it. These "all-in-one" machines will not dry as well as a separate dryer, but if you pull your laundry out right away and lay it out/hang it up in your room, it will be dry before you know it. I recommend not overloading the machine if you want things to come out dry right away. Microwave was convenient, with a FamilyMart around the corner. (The FamilyMart won't make change unless you buy something) Pro: clean and spacious room (somewhat) close to the train station Con: hard mattress (if that bothers you)
