Best hostel I ever stayed at. The dorms are super private, comfy & clean - daily cleaning & clean towels. The design is visually pleasing everywhere, the bathroom is clean but a little too hot in there. Great music playing around the hostel especially in the bathrooms makes it a vibe when showering. Pool area super social if you’re into drinking games and stuff. They also serve food if you feel lazy to go out but I never tried it. Located right on the beach! and right in the centre of chewang beach strip with all the clubs, shops, restaurants, bars, cafes right outside. just wish the hostel provided some seats / sun beds on the actual beach but maybe I’m asking for too much lol. Pool area partly under construction unfortunately but still enjoyed my stay very much!! So worth the price!!!

Best dorm I've been to!”
We were here for 2 night and I must say that I was completed flattered with the dorm we had booked. One of the best dorms I have been to. The staff is quite good, welcoming and helpful. This property very well maintained with nice swimming pool, beach side bar and view. The dorms were nice and clean with quite good bunk beds with dedicated charging points, reading light, drawers, towel, blankets. There are no keys, it is all hi-tech with wrist bands based entry into the building and rooms. The travel desk is good and they help you book anything and everything in and around Koh Samui. They also have private rooms, they are also quite good. Also, this is situated in good locality. You will definitely enjoy your stay here in Lub d.

The best decision you'll make as a solo traveler in Samui. From the fairy station take red car (approx 100 baht), tel them you go to Lub d. Lub d provides much more for the money - great location right on the beach, 7 eleven 150m away, shops, money exchanges, atms, restaurants, bars, 2 swimming pools, where we had fun parties, nice cafe with awesome views, breakfast was approx 200 baht, rooms was cleaned daily, fresh towels daily, laundry machines, no lines in the bathroom and awesome people, who are ready to chat, make plans, explore and enjoy the life. People who were walking along the beach asked me frequently what is this place and they couldn't believe it's just a hostel, since it looks like 4 star resort and people look like they have their best time. loved it!

Just be aware that is a more party orientated hostel, so if you are looking for a quite accommodation, look somewhere else. All common areas were very clean, staff is great.

Definately a getaway from work to unwind and chill”
The best party place and after party place , you won't get bored here for there is so much going on. The pool is slightly small but it's ok we were served alcoholic drinks as welcome drinks which we really loved. The breakfast is not buffet but is delicious enough. Overall a good Instagram styled themed hotel. I would come here again .

Everything I wanted/needed and more!”
I wanted a beachfront property where I could meet people but also sleep well and relax. Lub D gave me all of that. I met tons of interesting people and the single room in Building 1 was super quiet. The room was super clean and had everything I needed, including a safe. I had breakfast included with my stay, 1 day my tour left before breakfast started so the staff organized for a breakfast to be ready for me to take to go. Wifi was great quality. Lub D has a tour option desk and the staff was helpful, but same tours can be found elsewhere for cheaper. Bar prices are higher than bars nearby but the drinks are good and often convenience is key. I met people from all walks of life that were staying there. I meet 21 yr olds, families, and 50 yr old solo travellers. There was a DJ everyday at the pool and the music was great. I’d definitely recommend Lub D and I’d stay there again.

Amazing clean beautiful hotel/ hostel”
Amazing modern and clean hotel/ hostel. I was in the shared girls dorm and the room was very clean, enough space for 8 girls, bathroom facilities included 3 showers and 3 toilets with hairdryers. The staff were very friendly and helpful, 2 pools, on the beach, everything you need you have got, especially a 7 eleven across the road ;) I made some amazing friends there and had a lovely time x

Best on Chaweng Beach ”
Lub D is the perfect place to treat yourself for a few days when travelling on a budget. Though priced higher than a typical hostel, this place is totally worth it. The property clean, has an awesome vibe and feels more like a beachfront resort. Definitely stay here for a couple nights if you can!

Great beachside hostel. Beautiful views. Pools are great, clean, tidy. One pool overlooks the beach and has glass walls for the instagram fans to get great shots with. Poolside menu is great, food is more than decent. Thai and European foods. Drinks a bit expensive at 100Bht a bottle but nothing ruthless. Rooms are great. I’m in an 8 bed mixed. Very modern. Privacy curtains. Small balcony. Toilets and shows at end of corridor for all rooms. Very clean, tidy, modern. All customers open doors using electronics wristband. Overall. Great hostel. DJ by pool. Beautiful beach. I’ll definitely stay again if I come to Ko Samui

Very happy with my stay at Lub D”
Staff is very friendly, the food and drinks are reasonably. I would recommend this hotel to friends or couples. Only thing that kind of sucked was the limited menu items , if only there menu had a few more items added. But other then that , the drinks are good and the rooms are cleaned daily. A side note to anyone staying here during COVID-19 pandemic. Be in for a surprise, many shops and restaurants are closed but renting a moter bike definitely helps finding restaurants that are open. I can’t wait to stay at this hotel again

Everything about lub.d is fantastic. I’ve stayed at the one in Siem Reap before so I knew to stay there in Koh Samui too. It’s very clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is good and the food is nice. All around perfect place to stay in Koh Samui :)
