Where to stay in Kawazu
Kawazu hotels & accommodations

A really beautiful hotel situated right on the best beach in the area. The staff is very attentive and accommodating, and the rooms are spacious, well appointed, and with a beautiful view. The public baths are very comfortable and the massage is amazing. If you want to relax with easy access to the beach and to charming Kawazu town, this is the place to be.

My family including two elderies (70+ and 80+) stayed for two nights for the sakura festival in Kawazu. It is an excellent stay and both my old parents are very satisfied with the hotel esp. clean room with a big balcony facing the east sea). The breakfast has a great variety of choice but you may need to wait for a while to enter if you go there at peak time (~8am). T...

Very pleasant! Located by the seaside (although facing a highway), this quiet and semi-traditional Ryokan is worth the price you pay for. It is not cheap, but opt for the traditional tatami rooms (only two out of seven rooms) with meals included. Breakfast and dinner was delicious! Hotel rooms were clean, complete with all the toiletries. Had our first onsen experience and it was really a memorable stay for us. The staff are amazing! They have bus services to and from their hotel from the train station. They also offered a quick night tour around the area.

If you want to expreience the tranditional Japanese living and enjoy the highest quality of food, we are strongly recomment this ryokan (inn). Very pleasant - I missed the last bus and had to take the train (took over 5hours to get to kawazu station). The hotel send a van to pick me up although it was 940pm in the night. Great service. Really appreciate the effort. I come back almost every year - great place to see the cherry blossoms. Has a waterfall in front of the hotsprings.
