    “A rural Japanese ryokan. ”

The ryokan is in the middle of nowhere. Please get a vehicle if you plan to book this hotel, as the methods of reaching the property are very limited and no food options are available nearby. That being said, the staff is a big joint family and they treat you very nicely and are very kind if you have any trouble.
