The flight from Shanghai to the United States required a 17-hour layover for a solo traveler at Incheon Airport. My family was worried, but luckily I was able to book a hotel near the boarding gate for my flight to the US. I didn't expect it to be right next to the gate, but I was able to check in smoothly. The room was small but cozy, comfortable, clean, and quiet. It was a very, very good experience!

Once again the Transit Hotel in Incheon Airport Terminal 2 was a blessing to me! To have this small, quiet, very clean room to pass 12 hours of a long layover is worth the cost easily. It's also so nice to have a place to "park" your carry-ons and explore the airport for a little exercise. I was traveling alone this time (usually my husband is with me) and felt very safe. On each stay I have had the same thought, by way of criticism....the shower has a frosted glass wall between it and the bedroom area. This can be quite awkward, to say the least, if you are traveling with children or other relative or friend! Can't imagine who thought this was a good idea. So just a heads up on that! ;) Very satisfied with the excellent service at the hotel, and with making reservations through Agoda's site. Super easy and the cost is always competitive.

Pros: It's a nice place to stay if you have 12 hours plus layover. Nice comfortable beds and a hot shower. You better book the room way in advance since it was fully booked when we arrived. Make sure you book the right terminal. It's nice just to walk a bit to get to our gate. It sure beats sleeping on a chair under a bright light full of snoring people. Good strong WiFi even from the airport's. Cons: No sign of where it was located. We have to ask someone where to go. It's quite small for the price, no hooks on bathroom walls, almost zero amenities (why would I need a comb and cotton buds after a long flight) and they only give you a bottle of water and then charge 1 dollar for each additional one. I also wish that they have a longer stay period, only from 7pm to 7am and charge a ridiculous price per hour overstay. Other than that, I do recommend this place to rest before the next flight.

We recently rented two queen-sized rooms at your hotel. While the rooms were quite small and we could hear noise from other rooms, the price was reasonable and the rooms had everything we needed, except for toothbrushes, which were available for purchase at the front desk. The stand-up shower was very relaxing and the bedding was comfortable.

Excellent location. It was just above the departure gates. It was also very near 7-11 which was very convenient because the restaurants closed early. A hungry traveler could buy food from 7-11 and eat it there, or buy cup noodles and ask for free hot water from the hotel. 7-11 does not provide hot water for cup noodles. The room is small and windowless which is not a big deal if one is just using it to shower and rest before their next flight. Water pressure is strong. Towels are provided. The soap, shampoo, and lotion provided are not my preferred scent so I used my own. The frosted glass shower enclosure does not provide privacy. The person in the shower is visible to anyone else in the room. The bed is clean and big and comfortable. I was able to get a proper sleep. The TV is mounted on the wall. There are many channels available. There is a small desk and chair by the bathroom door. There are many lights inside the room so one can go as bright or as dark as they wish. The internet is fast and free. The clock on the wall was running 10 minutes late. It was a good thing we had our own phone clocks. I’d rate this hotel 5 stars for location, amenities, and staff. I only took away 1 star for being windowless and tiny. I’ve been to other transit hotels that were bigger and had windows.
