"The staff were very good. Excellent. Good breakfast. Its just a few metres away from Ilford station. Its also near to shops, restaurants and mall. But takes 2 to 2.5 hours by taxi to Heathrow, Central London and Oxford. Taxi / Uber charges GBP60 to GBP80 per one way trip. The train would definitely be a cheaper and faster choice but be prepared to switch train at 3 places to reach central London. The hotel is nor air-conditioned (ask for a fan if its summer), no elevator so be prepared to bring up all your suitcases all by yourself as there is no concierge service available. The shower is small, don't close the door if you are claustrophobhic. Compared to Asian hotels, its just like a small budget hotel. In London, I thinks its good enough."

"Two day break so we could visit London a couple of times. 10 min walk to Tube station and 40 mins to centre of London. The rooms are quite small with tiny televisions but they are clean. Both receptionists were extremely warm, friendly and helpful helping to make it a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was freshly cooked, cereal and juice was offered though no fresh fruit and yoghurt for the more health conscious. All in all I would fully recommend this as a No Frills, convenient, friendly, clean option for someone needing only a base. "

"Check in was very easy. We stayed in the annex building which is not the one in the picture. The hotel is very close to the train station and the main strip for restaurants and shopping. There are 2 Best Westerns so don't confuse them. Initially, walking in, the building was confusing and I felt like we were in a labyrinth. It was very interesting. I was a little frustrated because I have issues with my back and couldn't climb the stair with my luggage. That was quickly remedied. I sent my little grandson up to find our room. Once he did, I made my way up the stairs, leaving my luggage on a lower landing. I called the front desk to see if someone could come bring my luggage up. Soon after, someone came up with my luggage and checked to see that all was ok. If you have issues with stairs, make sure you tell them that when you book. Normally, it wouldn't have mattered much but I had luggage. We loved our room #60 actually. Staff was really helpful throughout our time there. "
