This hotel is just 5 mins walk from Nagoya City Station. It is close to all transportation including city bus, JR, express bus and subway. Room price is good for value when you book in advance. we booked a triple room and was assigned on the 19th floor (reception and spa on the 18th floor). Nice view of Nagpya city on this high rise buidling. Staff are friendly and helpful who speak fluent English. Room is not too spacious but reasonably sized. Hotel is surrounded by good restaurants. Afterall, it is highly recommended and we would come back next time.

+: This is a 3-star hotel with 5-star like service and facilities. It is arguably the best hotel I've stayed in during my trip to Japan (we went to 5 different cities.) Check-in and out was smooth (check-in @ 3:00 PM/ 15:00) Rooms were spacious for Japan, as most hotel rooms are generally small. We booked one room with 2 double beds, the beds were a bit on the hard side but pillows were comfy. There's a large flat screen tv, with modern wood countertops, two armchairs and coffee table. Kettle to boil water and drinking glasses are provided. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The bathrooms were very nice and well appointed with new and modern appliances (if you want to experience Japanese toilets, this hotel has the Rolls-Royce of toilet; gotta see it to believe it.) Separate rooms for the toilet and the powder & shower room with plenty of towels both small and large bath towels, toothbrush kit, hair dryer, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner, hand/ face wash combo provided. - : None.

Awesome hotel with fantastic view of Nagoya. Really loved waking up to the awesome view I had in my room for the 2 nights there. Although room space was pretty small and limited, the toilet was spacious and very clean. Staff were very friendly as well. Location was fantastic, close to train station and many good food areas. Very convenient and there is a restaurant just beside the hotel selling good japanese food at rather cheap prices. Best part is that it opens very early and closes till late (5am ~ 2am). Overall, a really good hotel in the heart of Nagoya.

The room is small as expected of a typical Japanese budget hotel. Overall hotel and room is nice and clean with bed that is comfortable to sleep in. We like the pillows as it is half soft and half hard (buckwheat) so you can choose which side to use (we prefer soft so we are happy that we do no need to request for one). Breakfast buffet is good and has variety but I do not think it changes everyday. Hotel is near Nagoya station (5-10 min walk depending on your capacity) which is 1 train ride to Legoland Resort and Chubu Centrair International Airport. We booked this since it is almost half the price of other nearby hotels and we think we got our money's worth.

If you don't have a car and would like to travel by public transport within Nagoya, this hotel is the best choice! The hotel is located just above the most central station in Nagoya (i.e. Nagoya station!). From airport there is an airport express (called Mu sky) taking you directly to Nagoya station in 25-30min. No other way of transport, not even taxi, can beat this. Then the hotel is right above the station. The train station is the biggest I've ever seen. I've lived in London and HK before and never seen such scale. For surroundings you can just get the subway or taxi, for further you can take the JR train, for far like another city, you can take shinkansen which is also there. even you don't want to travel anywhere, the station itself is actually full of shops and restaurants. there are so many to choose from you don't even need to leave the building. and also if you go up the tower above the station, there are nicer restaurants and even fine dinnings. Just across the street, there is also an underground shopping street. Such well thought development and big scale infrastructure has made this place the most convenient place in the world. I still have not mentioned that the hotel itself is very nice. Staffs service is extremely good. if your room includes breakfast, you can actually choose to have it in your room too, which so many hotels no longer do anymore!

From Nagoya station, cross over the main road running parallel to the station and keep walking straight along the main road. Once you see Junku-do book Store, walk straight ahead until you see Family Mart. A slight turn to the left at Family Mart brings you to the entrance of Royal Park Hotel. The hotel is not exactly the easiest to locate and it takes about 10 minutes from the JR Station. Booked a double room on the female floor and was quite impressed with the room! Bed was comfortable and hotel provided Loccitane toiletries with Shiseido sheet masks in the bathroom! They also provided the Panasonic nanoe hair dryer and nano facial mist machine. The décor was the room was tasteful and I felt that the female toiletries provided were very thoughtful! Wifi was freely available in every room and signal was strong. Breakfast consists of both western and Japanese selections and they were very delicious! Fresh fruit juice including acai berry juice, vegetable juice, orange juice, coffee and tea was also available during the breakfast buffet. Next to Family Mart is a staircase leading down to the underground shopping mall and it connects to the Meitetsu train station, subway and JR lines. Look out for Exit U10 when retuning to the hotel. It was a comfortable stay and the hotel has free spa as well for guests.

The hotel provides free drinks from 5pm to 10pm. Juices, tea and iced and cold coffee and cocoa (van houten). The breakfast is good. Its the same daily. Japanese and western. Croissant is one of the best. freshly baked! Try the unagigohan- eel with rice. the crabmeat croquettes are also good. They only have orange, grapefruit and lychees for the fruit selection. Try the salad-potato salad is really good and tasty. The dressing- 3 types, japanese, chinese sesame dressing( very good) and cesars. Its quite a distance to magoya station about 10 mins. Yo can turn left at the first intersection if you are going to meitetsu station. its a shortcut unlike if you pass by nagoya station. There is a Lawson beside it and Matsuya restaurant. The room is small about 17 sqm but the bed is queen size. The bathroom is heated so its nice to use the toilet especially during winter. You wont get shocked:-) Bathroom has amenities like shampoo, conditioner, bath and body soap and hand and facial soap. They also cotton buds, toothbrushes and paste, shaver and cream, scrub and some stuff for women which they give you on your arrival. There is also drip coffee in the room as well as tea. Water is not included. Nice bathtub and they have trouser press, big tv and heater for the room and plasma air cleaner. Will definitely stay again if given the opportunity. God willing.

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Aonami line can get to the hotel without getting out the skywalk, convenient. If you are familiar with the road, walk to Nagoya Station will only takes you like 10minutes around. It’s a new neighbor and close to Aichi University, a young and vivid area with new hub and restaurant. Hotel receptionists are all with good attitude, even helped me to book restaurant. Facilities are brand new since this is a newly opened hotel on December 2017. Willing to stay in this hotel again and hope the price rate will be the same. It’s very lucky and wise that we didn’t choose to stay at Mitsu Garden Hotel which we had a short stay in Kyoto in Mitsu, small and old facilities.

The hotel is just diagonally opposite the Meitetsu Department store. Exit the depratment store from level 1 and look for the spiral buiding. The hotel is just nearby. The room was clean and well-equipped. I booked the cormorant fishing on the Kiso river in Inuyama through the hotel. The staff helped me print out the map and gave me clear directions on how to get there from Nagoya. There are coin-operated washing machines on level 6 and there are 2 eateries and a Lawson just below the hotel. There is also a 100yen shop and a drugstore opposite the hotel.

Just right at the nagoya station that connects to shinkansen, subway and tour buses. I went for a 2d1n alpine route tour which departed from the carpark opposite the hotel, booked via Japanican (very good and highly recommended!). The hotel staff is very friendly and efficient. Self-collect your amenities. Breakfast catered, served by yoshinoya next door only 4 choices (salmon, beef bowl, beef meat and ham+egg with rice) but it's good enough for me.

Reserved a 3 night stay in Nagoya and chose this hotel as our base. + clean hotel + average size room + super nice staff + breakfast buffet included + coin laundry + microwave access + mostly quiet at night + very close to JR Nagoya Station, JR Pass access + Shinkansen, Wide View Hida/Shinano Express + Nagoya subway access to Sakae area and tourist attractions + lots of eating places nearby - room was little dusty like it wasn't used for awhile, but remedied with the air filter - breakfast buffet could use a little more variety, can't complain much about free breakfast though 😊 - if you like crowded areas then Sakae area is where you want to stay. however, it gets a bit crowded with nearby izakaya at night.

The Star Festival (Tanabata) was on and in the room they had two pieces of paper so I could write my wishes and then attach them to the tree downstairs for the festival. I thought it was a really nice touch! The room was very comfortable, tidy and was a pretty good size compared to the places in Tokyo. It wasn't too far from the main station with the local trains, shinkansen and subway lines nearby. The staff were kind and attentive.

Great location. Hotel was easy to find as it is near the station. We were pleased with the the self amenity section where you can get anything you need you need for your stay. We also like the cleanliness of the room. Though it is a little bit small, it worked well for us. There are nearby convenience stores and cheap places to eat. Overall, we had a great stay in this hotel.

The location of this hotel is very near Nagoya Station. the central hub of Nagoya's transporation system. The rooms are quite small ( Japanese standard). Amenities complete. Buffet breakfast is a plus. Staff are very polite and helpful. Easy check in and check out. It's just so hard to move around because of room's limited space. Will book again and recommend to friends as well.

Great location very close to Nagoya station, extremely polite and helpful staff who took us to the lift each time with a very deep bow! The room was beautifully equipped (we got an upgrade) and breakfast was excellent. The staff went out of their way to prepare something for my partner who has a gluten intolerance. Very highly recommended, one of the best hotels i've stayed in ages (and this from someone who travels 15 weeks a year).

I booked this hotel by the end of my trip due to a flight delay. The booking is quite smooth, I did the booking AFTER I had arrived the hotel. It was the cheapest option with the best location. It is one of the hotels nearest to the Nagoya station. The room cleanness is acceptable, the shower is quite good in my opinion. The reception is friendly. It was quite good for a brief stay. However, if you are planning ahead to stay for a few days, or expected more than sleeping, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The staffs cannot speak English. The room I booked is small, dim and old (note that it was cheap though). It is located in adult entertainment area, a lot of sexually related workers promoting their business nearby. Definitely a no-no for families and quite a turnoff of romance for couple. (On the other hand, if you are a single man....)

The hotel is at a great location, and a store right next to the hotel that satisfying all your needs from food to drink to books. Staff was nice and quick to respond to my check in requires. In general this hotel is very satisfying, the room was small but so does most of other hotels in Japan so I cant complain there. The only thing is the bed is a bit too hard, but other than that everything was good.

The best thing about this hotel was the price and the location. It is extremely close to the main station in Nagoya on the Shinkansen platform end which was very convenient in terms of luggage. The Sakae downtown area is a short train ride away and Osaka is easily accessible from the Nagoya station as well if you've got a day to burn. The value was cheap but you get what you pay for. The rooms were very small with hardly any room to move around, both the area around the main door and the door to the toilet felt really cramped. The rooms were clean enough and the size is only really a minor complaint since you don't tend to spend a lot of time at hotels other than to sleep when you're traveling! The staff did not let me check in until it was check-in time which was a bit annoying, but I could wait in the lobby for the 45 minutes or so until it was time. They did offer to store my luggage for me if I wanted to go out but it was too hot outside to bother during that short amount of time! The internet was free, don't be fooled by the rather ambiguous "login" screen you must click through each day to access the internet as well as the plaque above your bed which advertises a computer service with a spin on "accessing the internet" for a certain price per day. That is a laptop rental service even though it isn't very clear. If you bring your own, then the internet is free.

We stayed in room 1001, which is one of the largest rooms on that floor. There was lots of space to open two big suitcases, without using the beds. You can access the hotel from the train station using the underground shopping mall, go up the stairs at exit #8 and you are right in front of the hotel. Nice Irish pub attached to the hotel. Plenty of shopping and food options within walking distance. You can walk to the Toyota museum if you like cars.

The hotel was wonderful. Not only was it super cheap, but the staff was really welcoming and friendly, and could speak basic English pretty well. The room was very small, so it's good for travelers with one large suitcase or less. It was very clean. Every room has a bed, four hangers, a table, a stool, disposable slippers, a bath towel, a wash towel, a trash can, and a TV. Wireless is also provided. Although rooms are non-smoking, people may smoke in the hallways; but the smoke wasn't bad at all, just a slight odor. Every floor has a common sink, hot water kettle, tissues, and q-tips. On a couple other floors, public individual shower rooms are provided for all hotel guests. There is an elevator to every floor, but there are 5 steps from the 1st floor entrance to the elevator (not wheelchair-friendly). Perfect hotel if you're looking for a place to sleep and shower while doing activities during the day. You're not allowed to stay in your room during the day (9am-5pm) unless you are staying for 3+ days, but this wasn't a strictly enforced rule. Security is poor, but the area is quiet, and there are security cameras on every floor. You are provided a key to your room, but there is no security guard at night. However, I never felt unsafe.

The hotel owner was nice and friendly, he let us early check in (1pm) and the room was already prepared for us. So far it was the best location out of all the hotels that we stayed in Japan, just opposite Nagoya Station. Bed was OK and comfortable. For Japanese standard, the room was pretty spacious, we booked for a twin private room and definitely was more than enough space for our luggage. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Nagoya.

I highly recommend this hotel. The location is good, just few minute walk from the Nagoya station. I stayed at deluxe single room, but the room size is reasonable even for a couple. The staff are super good. We lost our backpack on the train from airport to Nagoya, we had all our money for the journey and the passport inside. With the assistance of the hotel staff, we got back our backpack finally. On another day, we need to return the rented car, the staff helped us to take all the luggages to the room, so that we did not need to park the car and could return the car a.s.a.p. Everything is good for this hotel, and I really recommend it.

Hotel is about a 10 minutes walk from Nagoya Station. We took a taxi from the station because we had luggage and it was too late and too tiring for us to wander the streets looking for the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and nice (though it took a while before he understood that I was asking his opinion about what time I should leave the hotel in order to get to the airport in time). The staff also said my booking didn’t include breakfast when it actually did but the language barrier and fact that I had to leave very early made me not bother to discuss it further with him. There’s a free Onsen on the second floor but we didn’t get to use it. Restaurants, shopping malls and convenience stores are a few minutes away. Their video on demand had free movies which was nice! We were only there for one night but it was very nice.

I had a good stay at Daiichi Fuji Hotel. Although we booked a small room, the room was actually quite comfortably sized. We were very impressed with the housekeeping staff who went the extra mile by providing us with fresh towels, bath robes etc in a bag outside our room door, even when we left the 'do not disturb' sign on and did not request for the towels. Overall, Daiichi Fuji Hotel is a good, centrally-located budget hotel that I would recommend to my friends.

There were 10 in my family who spent our Christmas vacation in Nagoya and all of us stayed at the Meitetsu Grand Hotel. All of us were fully satisfied with the hotel room, service and location. The best feature is the location because it is so accessible to the bus and train. We didn't have any prohlem regarding transportation to and from the airport. We fully enjoyed the many many shops below the hotel. We are definitely planning another trip to Nagoya and will definitely stay at the Meitetsu Grand Hotel again.

The room was small but clean, the location was good and plenty of eating places around the hotel. The downside was, if you don't speak or know any Japanese you won't get any help from the Front desk because non of them can speak or understand any English. I was not allowed to get into my room during the mid morning because the cleaning hour was between 10am-4pm. I tried to explain that I need to use the bathroom urgently and need to pick up something from my room. Affirmative No from the staff. I asked her to ring her Head Office, so I can talk to anyone who can speak English, she didn't know the telephone number. It was the.worse experience I ever encountered with a hotel.
