"Great location, 5 minutes walking from the airport. And if you need to go to NEC can take monorail for free from the 2nd floor of the airport 4 star breakfast. The menu is very similar to the other 5 star hotels where I used to stay. The downstairs restaurant is also great especially when you are too tired to go out. Perfect after a long day at the show while you are still fighting jet-lag"

"The staff were incredible. Really friendly and willing to engauge. With hotel chains they can be a bit impersonal. Not these people! The manager herself could not have been more helpful- to say that nothing was too much trouble is a bit of a corney line- but thats exactly what she was like!"

"For the purpose of visiting Birmingham for a trade expo, Holiday Inn NEC is the perfect choice! You get extreme value for your money with the free breakfast and free internet (the other hotels in the area didn't offer this). Although the internet in my room was crawling, the internet at the lobby and restaurant area was very fast and I ended up spending most of my evenings catching up on work there. The staff are magnificent as they attend to your every need with a smile (kudos especially to James at the bar who just the nicest, most attentive, and friendliest person). I highly recommend this hotel. The food at the Holiday Inn is not the best, but there is an excellent restaurant called The Little Owl just next door."

"I booked this hotel as Iwe was going to the nec for two days and we were very impressed. On arrival i found a disabled parking space straight away, when entering the hotel the staff was very friendly and the hotel looked amazing. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and we loved our room. The food was superb and enjoyed it immensely. After checking out we was still going to the nec and returned to our car five hours after check out time. When we went inside to pay for the extra time there was no charge. We will definitely be booking up again next year, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"I booked the room in January and had confirmation that the twin beds requirement had been notes. On arrival I found that the hotel had not noticed this and we had been allocated a double bed room. We were two friends travelling so would prefer twin. After quite some time the hotel managed to accomodate the request. So a shaky start, but then everything else about our stay was great. The rooms are a good size, white company toilietries and nespresso coffee machine all add to the stay. The rooms have plenty of room for storage and surfaces to use whilst putting in makeup etc. We preferred this room to the Crowne Plaza. The drinks and tapas food in the Highline bar were excellent and we enjoyed the band in in World bar. The shops were good too we both bought a pair of Skechers. We will stay again. "

"Unhappy with booking almost a year and a half early not to get a room to meet my mobility needs. The hotel said that this was the fault of the booking agency as they had not passed on this request and they showed me proof of this. I shall be complaining to Agoda for such a mistake. The hotel and staff were great the breakfast was average at best. We would use this hotel in future. "
