"This onsen ryokan really blew us away with its beautiful japanese garden setting. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, polite and thoughtful. It is truly the experience of a japanese high end ryokan. The room we stayed had a private outdoor hot spring bath, the room itself was huge, had a living area as well as western twin beds. There was also a small garden outside the living room. The public hot spring bath was amazing, both indoor and outdoor, i thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Not to mention the Japanese meal which was fantastic as well. Lastly about the location, we rented a car so it was very convenient. The best thing about it is that its right next to the panorama park which has AMAZING views of mount fuji. Definitely a must visit place on your next trip to Izu. "

"This ryokan was lovely. We were a group of 3 and the room was lovely and big enough for all of us with all mod cons needed. The large bath on the 7th floor was lovely and had an outdoor pool and the private bath we had was sheer luxury! Dinner was great, it was unusually as it was a fusion of Western and Japanese. To be very honest I would have preferred a full Japanese meal but this is purely personal preference rather than anything being wrong and the cake 'biking' was yummy! ( Biking means Viking which means buffet in Japan. Just go with it!) Breakfast was a treat for the eyes and belly and all the staff spoke English and while we were a Japanese speaking party it was great for those whose English was better. Totally recommended! "
