This hotel was absolutely immaculate and the rooms had been designed with every convenience in mind, even down to the heated bathroom mirror. It was by far the largest room we had during our travels in Japan, plenty of storage and a separate seating area even just in a standard double room. We loved the complimentary yukata and nespresso machine and the daily free bott...
It's a brand new 5 star hotel (opened in September 2017). The location is just perfect for us as we had gotten the hotel to make most of our restaurants reservations, mostly around the GION district area. Quite a number of sightseeing places (famous Shrines & Temples) are within walking distance. It is especially good for us as we can walk off the calories after our l...
We only booked for one night to see the top 5 attractions of Kyoto. New miyako was superbly located, just in front of the massive train station and bus transits which can lead u to ALL major attractions in Kyoto. You can take the bus 100 and get a day pass for ride all u can, you can see major temples such as Silver pavilion and a nearby one with a UNESCO heritage badg...
We were so glad to have found this hotel near Kyoto Station. We were able to book a huge room compared to others in Japan. The hotel even offered us a bus to drop off at Kyoto favorite tourist places. We will stay here next time we are in Kyoto.
Probably one of the best hotels in Kyoto and walk-able from Kyoto Station. The hotel has a big lobby and room is spacious for a family, clean and comfortable sofa seats. There is also a shuttle bus service to Kyoto station every 15 minutes. Love the tea pot provided and we stayed for 2 nights during our trip in Kyoto...京都は美しい...
Location is the best. Just across the underground path, the entrance will right in front of you. You can access JR and department store very easily. Bus interchange and Kyoto tower is right at the corner. The best thing is there is a Super big shopping mall behind the hotel, you can find everything you need there. We are a group of four, so we booked a linked room ( ...
We stayed 2 nites in Sakura Terrace The Gallery. Very easy to locate , only 5 mins walk from Kyoto Station in the opposite direction from Kyoto Tower. Very clean and comfortable - big room, big bathroom, balcony, 3-seater sofa in-room, complimentary welcome drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices) every evening, sumptuous breakfast comprising wide range of Japanes...
Located across from the Kyoto station on the other side of the Kyoto tower exit on the Hachijo-dori, it is on the left hand side. Walk to the last cross walk and go straight, you will see it on the right hand side. It’s few minutes walk. Room is not too small compare to other and it’s pretty clean and new. The AC/heater is great as well :)
this is one of the best hotels in Kyoto with efficient and friendly service. large rooms (by Japanese standards) and nicely designed lobby make this a good place for rest after a long day sightseeing in Kyoto. great location to some of the main temples as well as the main train station. a little bit far away from downtown (shopping), Gion and some of the temples in the...
Room is spacious with ample natural light. The twin beds are quite large, although a bit firm. Bathroom is larger than other hotels I've stayed at in Japan, particularly love the bathtub & rainfall shower. At check in, they have amenities baskets for ladies and children, from which you can take whatever you like, which I thought was special. The staff may seem standoff...
Specifically booked this hotel due to its proximity to Kyoto Station. Just across the road in fact. Was pleasantly surprised that it is not only near to Kyoto Station, but it is also situated on the JR station side, which means we do not have to walk the length of the station to get to the Shinkansen station to Tokyo. Best located (for my purpose) hotel for me and my s...
The location is sooo good, just in the corner of kyoto station, easy for us to go around, the bus station is near, the bus for sight seeing tour just infront of the station Since its next to the station it have plenty restaurants around, i setan and the cube (shopping mall also closed, kyoto tower easy to reach, they even gave us voucher to kyoto tower Staffs are hel...
It’s my 3rd time to stay at the Hotel but the first time I realize that their standard room is with regular size bathroom. The bathroom I had last 2,time is much bigger and with a shower place next to the bath tub. I booked the same room type - standard room through agoda for my 2 recent stays. When I checked in this time, I just found out that the bathroom is only a r...
A clean, efficient and friendly place to stay, close to Kyoto station and convenience stores which open till late. Also close to the meeting point for JTB tours - Kyoto tower hotel. Staff speak english well. The free noodles were great - you also get green tea or cold/hot water provided. Close to the bus station, only a 10-15 minute ride to the shopping arcades and dep...
we really enjoyed staying at hotel hokke. its a small friendly hotel with some nice touches. women are given a bath amenities pack on arrival. a library, lounge area and cooled water is available as well as free internet. the laundry is very accessible and cheap to use. the hotel has made up information folders on the important sites and things to do in kyoto i.e....
we loved staying at the kyoto brighton hotel. the room we stayed in was a double room and it was very spacious. the bathroom is very big, we enjoyed taking showers there. the rooms are clean and comfortable. the neighborhood is quite which was nice. the concierge was very helpful, they helped us book our restaurants, printed out maps and ordered our meals in advanc...
Joking in the title aside, Hotel Anteroom Kyoto was a refreshing change from the already-excellent hotels I've stayed at until this point during my first trip to Japan. Some solo travellers may find the single room to be too small for their liking - I'll admit that my room was a bit cramped, but given how beautiful Kyoto is, as a small base to take a break at once or ...
The hotel is only a short walk away from the massive Kyoto station on the western side and they upgraded my room from single to double with street view. The Japanese breakfast was excellent and there's also a Continental style. It's got everything I need, unfortunately it's a bit of a walk to Kyoto' Tower, because there's lots of great restaurants there. Wifi is excell...
I would like to recommend this very special hotel in Kyoto. The location isnt so comfortable, but the facility of shuttle bus to the central station every 15 min make it easy. I will beggin my comment with the breakfast. You have two different options, two different restaurants. One for american and one for Japanese buffet. If you are not Japanese better to choose th...
Stayed 3 nights in this hotel on a recent sightseeing trip to Kyoto with my wife and 10 year old son. Although we only booked a double room, I mentioned that I was travelling with my son and the hotel thoughtfully provided a room with 3 single beds at no extra charge. The hotel is quite new and very clean and well decorated. Beds were comfortable with a choice of diffe...
The hotel was new, which meant the facilities were new too. Love their hot spring, and their complimentary coffee served from morning till night (8pm or so) - it was really good ice coffee. We booked their Twin Rooms, and was only in Kyoto for 3 days. So we travelled light. The rooms maybe a little small if you have big luggages like the 29 inch type. Huge toilets, gl...
I visited Kyoto for the second time after 20 years. Grand Prince Hotel is right across the Kyoto International Convention Center where my meeting was held so it was an excellent choice location wise. A very tranquil environment to stay. Service was great. It's good to have both Western and Japanese style breakfast in the same place. Staff was extremely professional and...
Kami memesan 6 kamar d hotel Ibis Kyoto, kami sangat sennag dgn hotel ini karena lokasi yg sanngat strategis. Perjalanan kami dr Tokyo-Kyoto by Shinkansen, dan kami turun d Kyoto Station diaman Ibis teoat berada d seberang station ini. Pelayanan staff memuaskan, hotel bersih, uk kammar yg agak kecil minimalis. Sekitar hotel dekat dgn AEON mall, dekat dengan Kyoto Tower...
I was a solo traveller first time in Kyoto. This hotel is in a excellent location, only 1 stop from the main part of town on the Hankyu line and right at the terminal stop of the shijo-omiya electric line which goes to a lot of tourist sites. The bonus is you can even take the Hankyu line all the way to Osaka which is a 40-45 minute rude for only 400 yen. Although the ...
I had initially booked another hotel but only managed to get one day. The 2-5 day were spent at CMM. My advice is to take the Kansai airport bus (not the subway) to kyoto if your destination is Kyoto as last stop is situated about 200m from CMM. Once you alight from the bus, make a left turn and walk about 150m or so then make a right. Another about 100m you will ...
I spent 2 night in Kyoto Tower Hotel. The reason I booked this hotel was because of the central location which is just opposite to the JR train station and bus terminal to many tourist spots. The other reason is its tower. I had spent an evening on the tower to enjoy the view of Kyoto. The best thing is the staff in this hotel. They are very helpful especially I asked ...
We stayed at the Sakura Terrace Hotel in Kyoto during the busy last week of November 2013. We paid US$160 per night, without breakfast, but it should be about half that during off-peak periods. The hotel opened in October 2013. It is conveniently located one subway stop south of Kyoto station, with the Kujo station exit right in front of the hotel entrance. Alternative...
The location is quite ok. Various bus routes just a minute away from hotel. In Kyoto you will be catching bus more than subway so access to a big bus stop is more convenient. few minutes walk to Shin-omiya stn which going directly to Arashiyama Bamboo forest. I didn’t use the train lines that much so depends where you go it will benefit you but 90% you’ll catch bus ...
From Kyoto JR walk straight, go to Kyoto Tower Hotel, ask them where Kyoto Tower Hotel Annex. They same group. Just 5 minutes walks. When you check-in, you got free voucher to enter Kyoto Tower. Free ice and water (if you don't like tap water), vending machine on floor 7. No English channel on TV, but every hotel I visit in Japan don't have one. Porn movie alw...
It was the BEST hotel around the giyomizudera and sannenzaka. Everything was clean and you can use the laundry machine, kitchen in your room. To the Yasaka jinja, it's 10 minutes by walking. I would definately stay here again if I go to kyoto next time.
