"Just in time to check in, a short stroll nearby to experience the local everyday's life in this quiet part of Cultural Capital. A designer machiya in Gion. Harmonious between traditional and modern heritage. Filled with Japanese cultural atmosphere bridging a blend of tradition yet modern styling to form a new vibe in Higashiyama area. Bar金色Konjiki is another highlight of the hotel. Just nice to sit down and have some chats with Mr. Yusuke at the countertop bar after after a long day of visiting shrines and temples. The basement onsen is a great way start to start the day and certainly even more relaxing on the evening before calling it a day. As the first time, first hotel and first destination in Japan. Kyoto Grandbell did give us a great hospitality, heart-warming welcome and lovely experience. Our little boy loves this place so much and wanted to return again next year."
