A hotel with a calm environment overlooking Osaka Castle, which was great because I wanted to be away from the bustling city center. The staff were very friendly and their language, speed, and manners were all first-class. When we were being escorted to our room, we mentioned that it was a trip to celebrate the two of us as a family, and shortly thereafter, the hotel delivered a gift to our room. We were thrilled with the surprise. The room was spacious and clean, and I loved the furnishings and their arrangement. I felt a sense of calm in the room design that valued old items rather than always renovating to the latest trends. We stayed for two nights and three days, but we wanted to stay longer.

The reason for choosing this hotel is because it has ample parking for self-driving guests, and it only takes 10 minutes to drive to Grand front Osaka. The room has a view of Tennoji, and it is very spacious and comfortable. The hotel has two restaurants, and although the food selection on the 18th floor is a bit limited, the view is beautiful, with a panoramic view of Tennoji and the park. The next day, we had a very rich breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor. For those who want to stay in Osaka away from the busy city center and have a car, I highly recommend it.

The place is near the Osaka castle, and has a very nice view of the castle. It is also very accessible with cafes/restaurants, and a train station nearby. The hotel was well maintained and very clean although it may not as be as new/modern like other 4-5star hotels. The room was very spacious and organized. The staff were very accommodating. They also helped us with our taxi and airport service upon check out. Overall our stay was very good.

Hotel New Otani is in a perfect location for visiting Osaka Castle. The train station with direct connection to KIX (75mins) is only 5 mins walk away. Convenience stores and shopping malls are also close by. The hotel staff has been wonderful. Professional, helpful and very friendly, we felt warmly welcomed from the minute we arrived. The room was perfect and large, wonderfully quiet, even with Castle view. Bed and sleep wear were very comfortable and made for a good night's rest. We would return anytime.
