The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Fortress Hill MTR station, with a pedestrian bridge directly connecting to the subway entrance, making it very convenient even on rainy days. The hotel is located next to Oil Street Art Space, a small park that was transformed from the former Yacht Club site. There are occasional small exhibitions inside, and the environment is very good. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area, offering a variety of flavors to choose from. The hotel facilities are also very new, with a European Renaissance-style lobby featuring golden walls, crystal chandeliers, deep red curtains, and flowers in the same color scheme, making it a great spot for taking photos. The cost performance is also considered high.

The transportation is very convenient, and it is also located next to the culturally rich Yau Ma Tei area. The only downside is that the view from the building is not great and the privacy is average. However, it is comfortable to return and sleep after exploring the surrounding area. Stay for 8 days at Hotel Alexandra”
Room size is big enough. No issue to put 2 big luggage and 1 small luggage. Hotel relatively new. Shower water pressure could be higher. Good value for the price. It's cheaper than the hotel next to it and among the second and third cheapest on HK Island. Swimming pool is fantastic, decent length, warm water, clean. Only thing is that there is no benches. If you like swimming, it's good. If you like sunbathing, not for you. Location is ok. If you take MTR, need to walk across a bridge around 5-10 min. No direct access to MTR. You may need to sweat a little bit in summer before getting into MTR. Also need to walk a bit to Airport bus stop. If you are willing to walk 5-10 min, you have a lot of food choice: Chinese cafe, Malaysian food, bbq pork, desserts, dim sum, fast food. This is typical in HK. You have access to everything within walking distance. Breakfast buffet is ok, not the best. There are better choices in other hotels. For the price you pay, it's a decent hotel.

Our experience at Hotel Alexandra was nothing short of amazing. It’s accessible to the MTR (there’s a bridgeway that’ll take you to Fortress Hill MTR). The lobby is beaming with palatial elegance. There are so many Instagrammable spots. We requested for connecting rooms but since there’s no available Clover City View Rooms, they upgraded us to Diamond Rooms whch were right next to each other. Our rooms were clean and cozy. The staff were nice, helpful, and attentive to our needs. I rated 4 stars because when I requested for an additional towel, they gave us two, which was commendable. However, one of the towels had stains. Everything else was good. I would still recommend this hotel and would still consider staying here on our next Hong Kong trip.
