The accommodation is located on Wing Lok Street. If you take bus A11 and get off at Sheung Wan, you can cross the street and follow Google Maps to get there. However, it is more convenient to take the MTR to Sheung Wan station and exit at A2. Look for the 7-11 on your right and walk towards it. The accommodation is located nearby. The staff can speak English and you can leave your luggage with them. The reception is welcoming. The accommodation is located in an office area, so there may not be many restaurants open during weekends. If you are a good walker, you can easily walk to Central. There is also a nearby Jenny Bakery. The rooms are very small but clean. They have a hair dryer and a hot water dispenser with strong water pressure. Overall, it is considered good.

If you like to save up on accommodation amd only need a place to sleep after a long day touring the city, Homy Hotel Central is your best bet. The rooms we stayed in are a bit old, rundown, and not as clean as we would like, but you have the option to have it made up by the hotel cleaners. The bathrooms though are clean and spotless. Slippers, towels, shower gel, hairdryer and a small coffee nook are provided. You can walk easily to sheungwan MTR station and the tram station. The nearby MTR station entrance may be a difficult for the elderly. Foodshops, money exchangers, and 7-Elevens are nearby as well.

The location of Homy Hotel Central is undoubtedly its strongest suit, situated just a 2-minute walk from Sheung Wan Station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. However, the reality of the rooms falls short of the expectations set by the posted pictures. During our stay, we noticed dilapidated wallpapers and dirty restroom tiles, a stark contrast to the advertised presentation. Furthermore, the lobby appeared smaller in person compared to the images, and the hallways were uncomfortably narrow, cluttered with boxes. In our room, the bed revealed signs of wear and tear, with a noticeable concave bump suggesting a broken spring. Despite these drawbacks, the price point makes it somewhat forgivable. Additionally, the proximity to a nearby 7-Eleven and a dim sum stall adds convenience for guests. Overall, while Homy Hotel Central may not meet all expectations, it offers an acceptable stay for budget-conscious travelers, albeit with room for improvement in maintenance and cleanliness standards.
Strategic location”
Not the cheapest but definitely value for money. Literally few steps away from MTR Sheung Wan station (Exit A2). The room is ok but not the best. You can hear noises from the outside and the closing of doors beside you. Even if the guests in the other room is noisy. If you are a light sleeper like me, it's a bit annoying. Sheets and towels are clean. No free bottled water available but there is a water dispenser in the lobby. Free slippers, 2 packets of tea bag and coffee. I didn't use the TV because channels are not in english but not a problem. There's a lot of good coffee shops and food stalls nearby. Food panda delivery, too. Staff is helpful. You will be required to have 500 HKD deposit and it will be refunded upon checkout. I left my room open when I left for a tour (6hrs) but nothing was stolen so I guess it's safe.

The thing that I like the most was the location. It is less than 100m from an exit from Sheung Wan MTR which itself is a very centrally located MTR station. You can walk from the hotel to most places in the central area and to the Macau Ferry Terminal. The room is small and basic but it was clean and the bathroom was equipped with towel and basic toiletries. Given the hotel prices in HK, I feel this is really value for money and will definitelys stay here again the next time I visit HK :)
