This was my first reservation through Agoda, but it was actually my third time using this place. I regret that the price for using the bathtub has increased from 30,000 won to 50,000 won. Also, the building's boiler is a bit weak, so it takes longer to fill the bathtub with warm water than in the summer. I recommend trying the bathtub as soon as you check in. The bed and sofa were very comfortable to use. I was able to sleep well and felt great after checking out. The front desk staff and facilities staff were friendly, which made me feel good. The location and amenities were a bit disappointing, but the facilities in the room, as well as the BBQ options, were solid, so I would consider coming back; however, it seems too expensive during peak season.
1. The bathtub is really much bigger than in the picture, and it's worth the extra 50,000 won to play in the water. The downside is that it can't be used after 8 PM and there are no staff in the morning, so it can't be used then. 2. The water pressure in the shower is too weak, and the shower floor is too slippery. It's slippery like it's been coated in pork belly oil. 3. The sea view is a real sea view; this is a 100% sea view like I've never seen before, it's amazing. 4. The room had one bed, and two people slept on the living room sofa, which is very big and comfortable, so we had a great sleep. All the appliances and fixtures are brand new, and the sofa was really nice, but the cleanliness was rated three stars. The downside was really the water pressure, which was the biggest issue, but since it was just one night, we managed and left after sleeping one night. The floor is marble, so the baby fell and got hurt.
The price for an ocean view wasn’t overly expensive for the weekend. However, as soon as I checked in, I went straight to the bathroom and found a dead roach... There were a few hairs on the living room floor that were a bit bothersome, but I liked the view, so I overlooked that. There are no grocery stores or convenience stores nearby, so you have to drive out, and it was inconvenient that delivery wasn’t available via Baemin. It would be more comfortable if you brought your own groceries! For those who don’t drink, there are grocery stores and Daiso not too far away if you drive! Overall, I liked it quite a bit except for a few things. I have a 90% intention to revisit.
Room was very clean and staffs are so nice. And sunset view was amazing. I’ll definitely come back with all my family. Two thumbs up!!!

“Wonderful ocean view and room”
The first impression was exceptional, thanks to the staff at the check-in point who was very kind. The room was warm, featuring ondol (a traditional Korean floor heating system), and it was clean. The most impressive one was the ocean view; there was nothing obstructing the view between the ocean and the hotel. We were able to enjoy the stunning panorama of the western sea of Korea. I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay and enjoy the beautiful area of Hampyeong.
