Firstly, check-in was a breeze. We arrived Edinburgh early and hotel got our room ready for early check-in. Though the apartment was on the 4th floor with no lifts, the service staff helped to carry our luggages up. The bedroom is comfortable. We stayed in two rooms, both were beautifully decorated, clean, couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Location wise it's very central, right across from Edinburgh Castle. Highly recommended.

Lovely old hotel that has been tastefully modernised. It is in an excellent position near Edinburgh. The Carlton hotel in Edinburgh was a perfect base for our business meeting just around the corner. The hotel was impressive to look at but not at all stuffy. Have stayed her before, and still one of our best hotels, room on the small side. But was sufficient for our two night stay, Tea & Coffee, Fridge, Hairdryer, and very clean. Bus right outside hotel front door, into Edinburgh city centre, first class breakfast each morning, something for everyone, from cereal to a full cooked. Would recommend if staying in Edinburgh.

The apartments at The Chambers Hotel in Edinburgh, were in a great location, just a minutes walk from the Royal Mile, and 5 minutes walk to Edinburgh Castle. The apartments were stylish, spacious, very well appointed and very modern with old world charm.

I never write reviews however I really feel at home during my stay at the DoubleTree By Hilton Hotel Edinburgh City Centre! Their goal is to make their guest feel spoiled rotten, since the people at the checking to the room service people. they provide an excellent service and makes you want to stay and never gonna leave PS: their cookies are second to none !
