"We only stayed in Cinnamon Wild for 1 night. Its one of the most popular hotels in Yala National Park so it is packed with groups and tourists from all over. If you are not into that, you better skip it! You are surrounded by nature and animal so it is very relaxing. It is located in the middle of the National Park so it was convenient to start a Safari from there (you can book at the hotel or anywhere else around it). The hotel gave a room free of charge to our driver - which is quite common in Sri Lanka - and a discount on the food. You are advised not to leave your room alone after 6pm to avoid encountering wild animals. The food.. International Buffet for dinner. Not great but good enough. It is the most expensive hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka though. I believe it is because of Yala being one of the most popular tourist spots in the country. "
