Where to stay in Toronto (ON)
Toronto (ON) hotels & accommodations
I booked the Chelsea after checking prices a couple of days prior to leaving PA on this trip. The hotel offered a $167 rate which for what they offer is a great price. They are the largest hotel in Toronto and were very busy -- especially we saw a lot of flight crews. What we learned: 1) wi-fi in room was free but very low bandwidth (almost unusable), go to lobby (5 ti...
The best hotel I’ve stayed at in Toronto. Close to Dundas square and very nice and clean with newly renovated rooms. Only thing is no parking on site so I had to pay $38 for parking somewhere else which is a bit far fetched considering the room for one night is over $200. In this case it should include parking with room. Other than that beautiful hotel and great staff...
Hotel was really great.. Concierge was not really knowledgeable tho.. Food in restaurant was really good.. It’s all pricey, but that’s Toronto.. Would return ...
The hotel went through a recent major renovation and we give it rave reviews. We are in Toronto often and have always stayed elsewhere. We think that is about to change. The King Eddie is an exceptional hotel in all categories. You will enjoy your stay. Get the delux king room… fabulous! Sent from my iPad
The price is ok compared with other 3 stars hotels in the same location. The room is the size I get used to in Toronto. They are all very small. But it’s very very clean. I like the little smell of bleach on the bed.
The hotel looks like an old hotel that has been refurbished. The room was very clean and functional, on a high floor with a good view of the street/city. Facilities were great, breakfast was good (toward basic). Location: a little far to the west of the city but still very much able to walk to all attractions. Rental bike station right in front of the hotel made ...
Pros: near street train, entertainment and resto. Cons: no extra towel rack for more than one towel. Signs of age very visible. Drive way is not on King St. , so if you don't know, you unload on King St.
The staff were very nice however I was told to give a down payment of $150 which I would get back the day I leave.. upon leaving I was told 5 to 7 working days. The room was nice but not as clean as one would hope. The breakfast lady Violet was wonderful as were the rest of the staff. The hotel is located in a nice area easily accessible to public transport and local s...
Staff were very friendly, room was small but clean, pool and hot tub were really nice. Restaurant was amazing. Bed was a bit hard but not a deal breaker.
I couldn't be happier to stay at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. I could say it is definitely my choice of hotel in Toronto.
Our travel agent researched and booked The Westin Harbour Castle Hotel for us and we couldn't have been happier. Okay, it's a huge (900+ rooms) convention style hotel but the rate offered via Agoda was great compared to similar Toronto downtown 4* and 5* rated hotels. The rooms with comfy king beds are huge and the bathrooms are lovely. The hotel has numerous food and ...
The location is excellent - steps away from wonderful restaurants like Alo/Aloette, Byblos, and Pai, ten hops to Starbucks and the local drugstore/mart, and an easy Uber ride away to anywhere. Room is more than decent, with a firm but soft bed and 3 pillows, fresh sheets and clean bathroom. With microwave too. Breakfast is ok - not much by way of selection but taste...
Even though the hotel is located Scarborough, outside Toronto, getting into Toronto was fairly easy. A ten minute car ride got us to the train station where you can park your car for free. And the train ride was reasonable, comfortable and direct. It was worth staying out of the city in order to save on the high hotel rates in Toronto proper. Overall a very nice st...
We were so pleased to be here when the Raptors took on the GS Warriors as we expected Toronto to go off!!!! It did. The hotel was well placed to experience the vibe. The sign “We the north” was up. We loved it. The room and facilities were great and the staff very friendly and professional. Highly recommend. Become a Hilton honors member.
Pros: Felt welcomed that moment i walked in. Lovely room and location and food and staff. Decor was modern and funky, but not cold or off-putting. Great home-base from which to explore Toronto. Cons: Happy hour from 4-6 was very crowded and I felt a bit ignored by the staff as a solo diner. The whiskey sour and pizza were both good, although I had to work a bit to...
Booked this hotel at the last minute owing to a flight delay when the airline refused to provide accommodation vouchers, so this was the best deal I could find online. It sufficed for a 1-night stay. The room was not cleaned thoroughly with housekeeping inadvertently leaving a recycling box with some paper in the room. Also, the light placements and switches were terri...
2 nights stayed the westin prince hotel. There are 2 restaurants attached with the hotel. One of them is a Japanese restaurant which I dined in.but the price is a bit costly. There are always taxis stand by outside the hotel so is very convenient.
The location is close to the airport, and the free shuttle is really helpful ! The staffs are friendly and always trying to help us have a great stay in Toronto!
Definitely picked the right hotel for our stay in Downtown Toronto - haven't been back for some 20 years for more than a day and it was nice to be in the centre of it all. Had to do some personal things, banking, etc. and with the subway nearby one could get to almost anywhere that you couldn't walk. Loblaw's Superstore on Carlton only a minute away - and should be on ...
It a nice comfortable hotel situated very near Toronto airport, The staff were courteous and friendly. I would specially like to thank Ms. Tanya at the reception and Mr. A Munir at the concierge for their exceptional service rendered to us. We would definitely recommend and visit again in future.
The hotel is very good, good location, efficient shuttle, room clean and comfortable, However, they let themselves down at check in. DO NOT give your credit card details on check in. Although I had already booked via Agoda they charged me again for the room via my credit card. A week later it was refunded however I was still stuck with loss on exchange rate and bank ch...
First the negative: We were told valet parking would be available when we arrived, it's actually first come first serve which would have been helpful. At first I was annoyed, but the staff was VERY apologetic and gave us a less expensive option for parking and allowed us to park in the lot for a little bit to take our luggage to the room. They also informed us to come ...
Once you get pass that there’s no elevator in the 3 floor hotel and the free breakfast is just bagels, coffee, or cereal you realize you picked a pretty good hotel in downtown Toronto. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. I’d stay here again in heart beat.
Good facilities, breakfast included was a plus. The hotel should get more cribs since we requested one and were told they only had 3 cribs available and were all taken.
Very good for stay close to Toronto Pearson Airport. The staff is really great. Will stay again if needed
The hotel is not far from the airport and the hotel clark at the reception is very friendly. The internet facility is free of charge of course and the Itarian restrant attached to the hotell is so delicious. I would be sure to book this hotel is I had another chance to visit Toront. They gave me a ride to the airport on my departure day with free of charge. I could ...
Close to airport with a shuttle leaving every 20 minutes. Nicely decorated, clean hotel. Bit of travel time required if you plan to go back and forth from downtown frequently.
Cheap places to stay in Toronto (ON)
I think this is one of the best deals in Toronto. Nice, convenient area, affordable, and you can enjoy the pretty U of T campus as well.
Bring your own toiletries including tissue. The place needs signages and feel the shower and toilets are in one room and coed. But in the end the price paid was justifiable for what I experienced. However the staff was awesome. Kudos to Adrian.
We stayed for a week in this downtown Toronto hotel. The location is very central, right next to College underground station. The room was large and comfy although I would have liked a comfy chair rather than a desk and office chair as we were in the hotel more than I expected. Breakfast buffet which I paid for was generous. You had to ask for anything different from ...
Woodbine Hotel was a last min booking as we needed to be close to the Etobicoke General HospitalWe were very pleased with the convenience, staff were very helpful and friendly the room was large comfortable, and very clean. The breakfast was very filling and delicious, with hot items as well. Very satisfied and would recommend .
Canada's Best Value Inn Toronto is exactly that! i was not travelling for pleasure but needed a place to quietly sleep after stressful days. The bed and linens were on a par with a **** hotel, all the staff were friendly and helpful. No grand foyer, basic breakfast fare to take back to your room, but if you're looking for a great place to sleep feeling secure, this p...
Quiet location yet near a vibrant part of town and a subway stop. Room #3 was spacious with high ceilings, comfortable bed & chairs, good AC, small refrigerator & microwave, fine internet, and lots of windows (looking at trees and the Rogers building). Shuttle bus servise is good, the size of the shuttle bus is large, so no need to wait for 2nd round to get on the bus. The hotel is about 10mins drive from airport, the rooms are big and clean. Very confortable. There are different restaurants neraby the hotel, about 10mins walk from hotel. Very nice . Will stay again next time come to Toronto.

Everything is wonderful, I got a very nice experience
Upon my arrival, I have a feeling that I might need to change a hotel. My stay is surprisingly pleasant. As I asked the front desk how's the room condition, they told me is renovated and opened in certain floors to the public. So I take my word from them. To my surprise, bathroom is very clean and so does the bed. Carpet seems OK. Drapes from the window looks worn but ...

ok so my 1st night sleep was great, came back to hotel the 2nd day to find that my fridge wasn't working so all my food that my wonderful wife prepared and packed for me was smelling to high heaven already, so it was all a wright off. But as upset as i was the manager took the time to speak to me directly and apologize for the issue. Then she went above and beyond an...
Easy to reach by public or private transportation, literally in the heart of downtown toronto. Cheers to Allan (at the reception area) for making my stay really awesome
Arrived 7am and asked to use the gym shower. I was kindly provided access key and was able to have my suitcase checked in with the bellhop. However the 2 showers did not have hot water. Towels were provided, but the locker room required my own lock which I didnt have so I changed inside the shower with my backpack. Only dispensable soap was available. Checked in at ...

nice place, very near church & wellesley, clean, and ease in checkin and checkout
I didn’t like the extra parking fees. Front desk should be friendlier
In contrast with what some of the testimonial said, there is in fact unsecured Open Wifi access, and I was not even aware that a white box that is plugged in the LAN port in my bedroom is in fact a "shared" Wifi router for a number of suites, and that box does not even have any signs, label or warning to request residents not to unplug it. After I remove the LAN cable ...
The only reason I only have the facilities 3 stars is because the floor of the hot tub was extremely slippery and I slipped getting in and hurt my foot/leg .Could have been much worse had my husband not caught me. Also, the hot tub had a lot of "dirt" floating around in it and could use a good cleaning. BUT the staff were very friendly and helpful even rearranged thin...
Always a good stay at the intercon Toronto. One thing I discovered this time was it may be the easiest hotel to access from the train that runs Pearson airport - Union station. You exit, cross one street and you are there! Will stay again and no more 60$ taxi rides!
We stayed here for 3 nights and found the location to be good. Not to far from downtown Toronto. The motel was nicely kept and the breakfast was adequate. Nice parks nearby as well.
I stayed at holiday in this past weekend and the experience was super amazing, I felt at home staying at the hotel, everything was so good, the staffs was accommodative and friendly, the breakfast was so amazing and yummy everyday, I love everything about holiday in downtown and next time I’m in Toronto I will definitely stay there, it now my home whenever I’m in Toro...

Stayed on the 7 floor in a newly renovated suite. It was a pleasure and a delight as this hotel was great. Room service was tasty also. My only suggestion would be. Out of the 6 pillows on the bed... I wish 1 was a firm pillow as all were too soft. However I'd return for sure.
This hotel is heaven! I loved the location . Yorkville and the University of Toronto are both at your door step. My husband and I loved walking around the Annex area in the evenings. And dining and shopping in Yorkville is always amazing. If this isn't enough, the first class service at check in and check out only adds to the total Toronto experience. We will definitel...

Hotel is easy access and near to the central bus station. Staff are friendly too. Happen that the day when I check in, left only 1 girl manning the counter and there are a little bit of queue. .. So it took me extra time to check in. Overall is good. Staff are friendly

I have never stayed at a hotel with better customer service. I travelled to Toronto with my 8 year old daughter for a special getaway and the Fairmont did not disappoint! Excellent service by all hotel staff, room was spacious and clean with commendable amenities. Location was amazing, walking distance to shopping district. Will definitely return!
There is construction going on outside, so I asked for high quiet floor. I was put in room that looked right on the construction site on the 6th floor. When I called to the front desk they said they had.a higher, quieter room, but when I went to exchange keys, they said they were mistaken, and gave me a lower room on the 5th floor, away from construction, but still wit...

the city is wonderful many historical building and places also the most interesting to come to Toronto is for Niagara falls
Simply asking the local people for directions was a fun experience. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful here.
As one of the biggest cities in Canada, you can surely find many things to do. I recommend watching musicals if you have a particular plan.
Toronto is the 'friendly New York' and you can tell that people living in Toronto and much of Canada are courteous, friendly and respectful.
Toronto is a vibrant city with a rich variety of cultures. It's one of my favourite cities and highly recommend that people visit.
Toronto is a dynamic city where the people are very friendly. However you should beware of police. We were shocked with teen shooting during stay there.
Toronto is a multi culture city that you can see so many different people and languages. i love this part because for an Asian you can have lots different food here.
Toronto is a very big and busy city with pretty good transportation system. It is multi-cultural and there is a big chinese community in Toronto.
Every culture of the world in 1 place...5 Chinatowns, Greek area, Indian area...masses of street festivals and annual events, range of museums and sights.
The city is well planned and has a very good transport system, you will never get lost. People are friendly and relaxing, lots of good eating places and full of activities.
If you are driving, please park your car at your hotel and use public transport or walk. Public car parks are not cheap.
toronto is oke city but expensive is you have medis and the intercintinental hotel in front city is bad services.
good place to have your vacation or business trip. if you can come with your families and friends, you guys are lucky enough to have a wounderful and special experience.
Very nice city, if you will travel with public transports, i recommended buy "pass day" in subway for travelling all day free.
I like Toronto. There is a lot of things to see and do in Winter actually. Great shopping at Eaton Shopping Centre.
Went to Toronto for a few days in December and January, people are always friendly and helpful, at Nathan Philip Square there is outdoor iceskating that is very fun
When to visit Toronto really depends on what type of traveller you are. There are a myriad of things to do and see in Toronto and its neighbouring cities, but not all is as impressive all year round.
I should not miss the harbor front that has lots of activities during summer time. Moreover, I also recommend you to go to Toronto island which you can see the beautiful view of the Toronto.
