Easy walk on Sky bridge to get to and from train station. Small but efficient rooms. Hotel can arrange motorbike rental so you can do day trip outside Solo, which is highly recommended. i try to stay one night and the location is great in the center of solo city, straightly walking distance to solo grandmall and near to "kampoeng batik" laweyan. the service of breakfast is great, just called reception and the food will be delivered to room. also we will get the delicious traditional food if we order from room service.

Old and somewhat faded hotel. But the rooms are huge and clean, the aircon strong and the staff friendly. Only the hot shower was poor, barely lukewarm. Many good cheap Javanese eateries nearby.

The hotel is clean with good facility. Near The Park Mall and Hartono mall. Just a 5 km to Keraton Surakarta. And the staff is friendly. Will come back here if going to Solo again.

I have been visiting Solo regularly for the last 5 years. Have stayed in a about a dozen hotels in the 3-star range. Tried Istana Griya 2 because I wanted to be close to an event in Fort Vandenberg. What a surprise! This is the first Solo hotel I really will want to return. Unbeatable value for money and best service of any hotel I have been in Solo. By far.

Staff are really helpful. The hotel looks old, but my family feels like home :) The hot water isn't working efficiently. But dont worry the water isn't really cold. Location wise, it is near Tirtonadi Bus Station, therefore many out-of-town buses pass here. It is also near the latest dam that is opened as tourist spot. The room was so small but modern, super clean and very comfy, no electric kettle, no fridge and no standard toiletries. Stayed there for 1 night during high season, the price was doubled 😅. But for normal season I believe it’s one of the best budget hotels in Solo. Awesome!
