Saipan hotels & places to stay

When I came to Saipan, I was looking for a little oceanside paradise, and that's what I got at the Aqua Resort Club. The ocean-front view from my balcony was gorgeous and a great way to start the day with a coffee or tea. The location is roughly equidistant between the major sites at the north of the island, and the major retail destinations at Saipan. Overall, if you're looking for a little luxury in your Saipan trip, I'd recommend ARC.

Less than 1 minute walk to shopping. Located right across the star sand plaza, aka I Love Saipan shop. Also DFS mall and ABC store are in walking distance. Joeten mart is close, too. On top of that, as you can see in the map, about 5 minutes walk to the beach through Piesta resort. Bubba Gump restaurant is at the 1st floor. indoor parking lot in the back of the building sharing with the restaurant. Although a huge construction site was active during my stay, I couldn't hear a noise in the hotel room. But the hotel is located along the street so there was some road noise such as police siren sometimes. The building was brand-new. I liked the facility. Safe elevator with electronic key to select only your floor. The room had independent air conditioner, hairdrier, tv, refrigerator and safebox. Like all other hotels, daily sized amenity was provided such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, disposable razor, haircap, and toothbrush (with small paste). But be aware that there is no swimming pool or gym, which I didn't want in exchange of the value of money. Staff was very helpful and very kind alway. Lobby area was small but not crowded. Overall, I recommand this hotel unless you need a resort. Great for going tours during the day, and shopping in the evenning around the walking distance.

I was moved from kensington hotel. Specifically, Building interior is luxurious and restaurant service is interesting. (staff performance) . Breakfast,lunch,BBQ dinner was perfect. I'd be willing to recomend to freinds. But when i check out some point was made feel bad. I was charge to my room for drinks at the bar. But receptionist dosen't told me about payment. so I was ask to her. She doen't check to bar and just said you don't have to pay with wire look. So I requested to check. After a while , she gave invoice to me silently. I understand make mistake. But I dont understand receptionist's behavior.

The staff was very helpful, the location is amazing. The whole island is pretty old/run down which is sad at times, but I think Kanoa resort is the best place to stay. We rented a car so downtown was about a 5 min ride. Be sure to checkout the Thurs night market nearby, you'll get BBQ and dance! Also, the hotel hosts BBQ in the lobby Fri and Sat nights, again 5 dishes for $5 it was really fantastic and the kids got to watch a movie. Overall, happy with our stay there, thanks again. Saipan is beautiful, for its beaches. ALl of the the people are fantastic too, will miss them!

Christmas there was excellent. It is not cheap but you expect that at Xmas. I cannot say enough about how helpful the staff were and how they accomodated an early check in after a very early flight. My only gripe was that one of the set xmas menus we were miss informed about the price and then when we tried another of the restaurants at the hotel it was fully booked. This however was not sufficient to make me not want to go again.

Nice city hotel, kind of motel like, good alternative away from the Beach resorts, less cost, walking distance to the American Memorial Park, most of the key restaurants, Hard Rock, a couple of the larger beach resorts on the island, easy access via car to other areas on the island, free shuttle to a nearby resort beach...although could also just walk, free parking, really nice staff. Rooms are nice with all of the expected appointments and clean. If you want to stay close-in, their is Shirley's, one of the best diner type establishments in the Marianas right in the lobby, there is also a bar out back, although we didn't need to try it.

We had a very positive experience staying at the Aquarius Beach Tower in Saipan. The hotel was a little run down--but our accommodations far exceeded our expectations. The room was more of an apartment with a full kitchen along with a washer and dryer, which was very nice. There is no gym, pool or restaurant at the hotel, but it wasn't a significant problem for us. The hotel is located right on the beach--and it's a beach that some of the locals claim is the nicest one on all of Saipan. We enjoyed the beach very much, and had it nearly to ourselves since most of the tourists hang out at their hotel pools and don't actually swim in the ocean--which I found surprising. The staff was friendly and helpful, and overall I would stay there again. All in all it was a good value for the money.

Hotel is neat and tidy. Host quite helpful and allow us to early check-in. Have everything we need in the room, even a proper hairdryer, so we are happy with the room , tidiness and we get what we see from the pics. But its just the location that bothers us a bit. We are in the middle of the island, which is like 50mins walking distance to "downtown". So should expect to drive as its not easy at all to catch a taxi in Saipan. But again with a lower price, its not a big issue to complain with! We are in general happy with the stay.

Good location in center of Saipan. Lots of stores and restaurant nearby. No food service, but price is good. If your travel plan is visiting Managaha, diving,cycling..., no big requirement for hotel just sleeping there, recommend Hanamitsu, little tips: you can plan in Fiesta hotel. If you are Chinese, recommend Hanamitsu, but their staff can speak English/Japanese/Korean.

I stayed at this hotel during Chinese New Years Days. There are many hotels in Saipan, but I was not able to book others because of no vacancy. A problem is ... It's difficult to reach the hotel. The hotel locates in the middle of jungle. Don't try to go there by a taxi. Most of taxi drivers don't know where the hotel is. This hotel is not 5 stars. BUT, You can see a friendly, safe, quiete hotel in Saipan. I had a good moment.

There's one English channel and bad reception. The Management needs to subscribe to a better cable subscription. When you pull the room key out of the receptacle to leave, it will turn off all the electric circuits in the room. Hard to keep your devices charged. We rent a car to go about Saipan for our work and business. Management is not clear where to park at the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at Saipan Vegas Resort. The staff was friendly and ultra-helpful, and the room was neat and clean. The room was small, but the view was lovely. The best amenity was the availability of the complimentary shuttle at all times to drop guests off and pick us up from shopping, tourist and dining locations nearby, which was an extremely useful service, especially for early morning flights. I also enjoyed walking the beautiful golf course on site. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing experience.

I can't help telling you this is an amazing and lovely villa, especially it's with a breathtaking view for the ocean view room. Moreover, the hosts and house keepers of this villa are all friendly and helpful to assist us to make this journey perfect. It's worthy of spending time to enjoy the wonderful view at the balcony. We'll definitely put this villa as the fist priority of staying next time we visit Saipan again.

I picked up a room last minute because my hotel was fully booked and unable to extend. The hotel has a kitchen area with dishes and would be a great value for a family or groups. As a solo traveler, the room was too big for me. I thought the resort was loud and the pool area was pretty active so not the most relaxing place. I also took the last room available which was next to house keeping. My sliding door view of the pool was blocked by large dirty towel carts and about six full bags of trash. The staff even layed out piles of towels on the sidewalk in front of my view and threw bag of trash down from the 3rd floor. It was also loud with the staff door slamming and talking. I told the front desk it was not a pleasant stay and not good value for me. The manager did not think it was a big deal and was firm on it. This was quite insulting to me. It thought paying about $100 a night would mean some sort of good nights rest and pleasant stay but the manager just apologized...

The hotel was easy to find...Google Maps led me close, and then I finally saw the huge blue sign that said "Capital Hotel". Another nearby landmark is Garapan Elementary School. I rented a Standard Twin room, and was given a room on the 2nd floor. The room was a decent size, and the airconditioner was nice and cold. There were two twin beds and a big mirrored closet. There was also a TV placed on top of a table, a mini refrigerator, and an electric kettle. (There was a shared kitchen outside with a microwave, stove, and sink if people wanted to cook.) The restroom was a little cramped between the sink and the shower, and the stand for the showerhead was not the right type, so the showerhead would shift after a while and spray water in the wrong direction. There was also a slight odor coming from the restroom. Overall, it was a good deal since I only needed a place to sleep and store my things, as I spent most of the day out and about. There was also ample parking for tenants.
