"The Tremblant Fairmont is like all of their offerings. Slightly kitsch and over taupe, rustic reception area but that is what you are expecting when you stay a Fairmont. Unlike other Fairmont hotel, the Tremblant hotel is a purpose built modern (would presume early 90s) which allows it to offer some fantastic features, including the wet-reception for ski season and a well stocked gym. I am always a little disapointed when staying in a higher class establishment when their are large unknown stains on the carpets in halls and lobbies and well worn fixtures. These are easily solved and always detracts from the whole experience. Other than little gripes, the staff were fantastic and welcoming. Etienne in F+B gets a special mention."

"The person running the desk (the owner, probably?) is quite a character, very welcoming and pleasant, with a pleasant sense of humour. The breakfast is great, and the location couldn't be better for both going to the village and skiing. While the decor is not going to win a four star rating, it is clean and pleasant and the hospitality more than makes up for it. We'll be back!"

"This hotel was expensive but the cost somewhat offset because you are supposed to receive vouchers for the lift to the top of the mountain. We did not receive these as hotel informed us that booking through Agoda made us guests of "Booking.com" and not eligible for any offers or any service. Did not have my agoda login information to suffer the service call or chat and besides who wants to spend the few hours of their vacation time on the internet and phone. Check in check out was rude and pointless and condescending to the extreme. The hotel in poor condition. Room we had looked to be about 30 years past its prime. Dirty bathroom, tired furnishings, etc. A property on its way down and looking for a retrofit but able to gouge customers and treat them horribly in the meantime all thanks to the benefits of internet marketing. As locals may know, save yourself a dismal experience and avoid any Tremblant properties believe many better options are available for this area. Avoid!"
