"For my opinion- it’s the best hotel in Koh Samui. Staff were very nice. Location super central. The vouchers’s idea was very nice. Liked to chill on the pool-floor. Recommend to ask a room on a high floor because the hotel stands in a shopping mall and the lowest rooms are close to the parking plot. Everything was great and for sure will be back to COSI again on my next travel. "

"Our stay at Dara Samui was excellent! The Resort itself is designed to provide guests with the taste of Thailand. The decor in the ground and in rooms is beautiful and always of extreme cleanliness. The rooms are comfortable, secure and offers everything that a traveller could require! The location of the resort is great, guests are able to walk across the road to great shopping markets, get a massage, experience other restaurants and nightlife of Koh Samui. In all our time in Koh Samui, staying at Dara Samui allowed us to save money on taxis. The pool and beach aspect of the hotel is brilliant and relaxing. The hotel staff and so helpful and always provide a high standard of service. Restaurants within the resort are of high recommendation!! There is no need to leave the resort and eat anywhere else, the food and beverage menu offers variety and value for money, we were very impressed. Even our friends who were staying at another resort would come and dine with us in our restaurants!! We went on a day safari that we were able to easily organise through Dara Samui reception, this was an incredible experience assisted by the helpful reception staff. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at Dara Samui, I have no complaints, the resort meets all needs from families to couples to solo travellers!! "

"Crystal Bay Yacht Club is located on a beautiful part of the beach in Koh Samui. The bungalows are a great size and clean. The shower is separated from the rest of the bathroom by a divider so you don't have the typical Asian wet bathroom floor. The restaurant is a little pricy for Koh Samui, but really well priced for a resort. Restaurant staff are very friendly, switched on and speak english well. Thai massage is offered on site overlooking the beach for a very reasonable price and the masseuses are very talented. As someone in the fitness industry who has spent a lot of time and money on physiotherapists, myotherapists and masseuses (in both the western world and Asia), Ticha, Dai and Noi know what they are doing. This shows as they are busy all day long! There isn't too much walking distance from the resort but we rented a scooter to get about, and also booked our trip to Koh Phangan via reception. For anyone who needs to work while they are travelling - as we did, the internet at Crystal Bay is reliable and as fast as you will get on the island. It seemed to be a great place for families with younger children, and we could take our parents there and they would be comfortable. Definitely would return. We are a mid-30s couple who work remotely and travel regularly."

"The hotel grounds are very large. Our bungalow was high up on the hill and it was quite a trek to the beach. We did not mind this as we had just spent a couple of days on Koh Tao where the bungalow was right on the beach. The water is much nicer (more clear) in Koh Tao so we were fine with spending less money at our hotel in Koh Samui even if it meant we were further from the water. The pools are very nice at this hotel. We spent several hours at the pool overlooking the beach and Gulf. We did swim in the pool but we did not swin in the Gulf. Breakfast was very nice. If you want to go into town where the action is you will need to take a shuttle or taxi. We were happy to stay away from the crowds but if you like to be at the center of things you may want a hotel closer to town. If you like to hang out at a nice pool and look at beautiful scenery without the crowds this is a good hotel. We were happy that we spent two days in Koh Tao and two days in Koh Samui as the vibes are very different (Koh Tao is better if you love nature and don't mind rustic). "

"The rooms are big and have nice furniture: a couch, a kitchen sink, microwave oven. The airco was a bit noisy and the TV is outdated, but who is watching TV anyway while you are on Koh Samui? The location is excellent near Central Festival."

"Me and my wife had our Honeymoon in Koh Samui and stayed in this hotel in July 2019 for 9 nights. We experienced a very warm welcoming greeting as soon as we arrived in reception. Everything about the hotel was so beautiful, the location, decor, the restaurant and the room (we stayed in the beachfront balcony pool suite). The staff were always attentive and polite. You could use the handigo app to chat to staff and request room service which we both found really handy. The breakfast at the Tent restaurant was really nice too with many options and having the option to order from the menu with buffet was a plus. The only problem we faced was that there was only one panini grill which meant people who were vegetarian, or Muslim like my wife and I who only eat halal meat, were unable to use this as it had been used by other guests to grill ham sandwiches. The beachfront location was amazing and the hotel allows guests to go kayaking and paddle boarding for free."

"Siamo stati molto bene in questo resort. È localizzato in una zona tipica thailandese e non affollata e turistica. Ottima posizione che permette di arrivare in 20/30 min a qualsiasi punto d'interesse dell'isola. Molta comoda anche la scorciatoia per arrivare alla silver beach. Siamo rimasti stupiti della pulizia del bungalow, incredibile! E comunque di tutto il resort. Un super like va anche al letto, molto molto comodo. We appreciate our stay in this resort. It's located in a real thailand side.. not crowded by tourist. The position is perfect to move around koh samui. And to return in the night in a piece of paradise. There is also a good shortcut to reach beaches like silver beach e lamui. In 20/30 of scooter is possible to move in the most famous point of the island. Another point is the cleaning of the boungalow, amazing!!! And super like for the bed, very very comfortable. "
