I visited Harbour House with my mum who used to live in Hermanus, and we were both delighted with the experience. The room was terrific (and nice view too) and the reception staff (including staff-in-training) consistently went out of their way to help us. Will definitely be back.

A Grand old Lady and an icomic Hermanus Hotel. The location is stunnig as you can watch the whales from the patio. The staff are friendly and well trained, the rooms are tastefully decorated ans spacious and the food and service at the 'Origans' restaurant was very good.

Gorgeous hotel , impeccable service , utterly friendly staff and management , nice food, although the bill is not cheap But you get everything you ever wanted from a top hotel ! Would love to come back

Our stay was very pleasant. the hotel manager was beyond helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were beautifully presented and tasty. I highly recomend this hotel.

We stayed for two nights, playing golf at Hermanus Good Club. This is a great location for golf. The staff are brilliant and very friendly and helpful. Every thing was perfect with lovely stuff specially carla was so helpful and upgrated our room and booked the boat. So caring. The only bad thing is the best rooms are located very close to reception desk and abit noisy also wifi doesn’t work properly in room 1. But at the end we had a lovely stay

I adored this small, chic and discrete boutique hotel. The room was exceptional (big and tasteful) and the view absolutely breathtaking. I never had such a huge and confortable bathroom, ever! We stayed in Hermanus for 2 nights mid July, when the weather was very windy and cold. Travelling as a family of 3, we had warm adjoining rooms, separated by the shared bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious and Gail was very helpful with local information.

Best place we've ever stayed at in South Africa!!! You can definitely see the whales from the room. And it's a pleasant walk going to the central area of Hermanus. I love love love love Ocean Eleven. Definitely one of the highlights of our honeymoon. Would definitely go back!

the owner was extremely accommodating to changes in our travel plans - we were very grateful. the rooms were large and so cosy i felt like i was visiting a friend and they offered their best guest room! i would definitely stay here again.

The staff at this hotel are great - very friendly and helpful. But our room lacked privacy - it was open to the driveway and opened onto the lobby where we could hear guests arriving/leaving. Also the toilet is in the bedroom behind a shower curtain.

The guesthouse is within walking distance of all main tourist6 areas of Hermanus, ie. the waterfront area with restaurants and markets. The room was clean and nice and the bed very soft and comfortable. Everything was good. Vanessa and Derek were very welcoming and did their best to make us comfortable. The only thing which stopped is from giving the place top marks was the location. Thought we were getting an ocean facing room with 2nd bedroom but had a 2 rear facing bedrooms instead. We were not concerned as location is nice and quiet. Great place to stay in Hermanus. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Very nice stay for our last night in South Africa. Easy drive to CPT in the morning. Walked to a great dinner. Wish we had stayed longer.

Outstanding place and we would highly recommend to fellow travellers. Very friendly staff. Nice golf course close by, and also very good restaurants. We recommend The Rock about 4 km to the south of Misty Waves for excellent seafood. My wife and I agreed that this was the best hotel we stayed at while in South Africa. BTW, we had the Honeymoon Suite.

the check-in procedure was short and efficient. one cannot expect luxury from the hotel as it is only 3 stars, but i found the hotel to be clean and very acceptable. the views of the sea are spectacular. the hotel is also very well situated with regards to the various restaurants in hermanus. the breakfast in the morning was a good buffer breakfast
