Where to stay in Gwangyang-si
Gwangyang-si hotels & accommodations

My fiancee and I stayed here for a weekend. I was a little concerned by the other reviews, but it turns out that those people are just inordinately picky. We stayed in one of the Deluxe rooms and we could not have been happier. There was so much free stuff for us to use, the TV was big and nice, the bed was comfortable, and the bath was just incredible. The location is...

This is a traditional Korea house, built in the traditional way. I can see a lot attentions that go into details of the building. My family selected this place to have "korean" experience. I am glad we made this choice. The location is 10min from city and restaurant by car. The owner speaks English very well and very helpful.

Simply furnished, possibly even retro; the hotel was squeaky clean and the owner warm and welcoming. The neighborhood was oddly happening--not with the usual drunk businessmen, but local residents of all ages! Close proximity to numerous restaurants that stayed open late, and even a bakery. Everyone in this neighborhood was super friendly, too!
