Where to stay in Genting Highlands
Genting Highlands hotels & accommodations

In overall our stay is excellent. We booked the deluxe room so we don't need to experience long queue like people who book the standard room. We had our breakfast on the top floor of tower 1 and the food is good. Some local delicacies are excellent, but too spicy to digest in the morning. Need to improve on the variety of the food. Compared to the other hotels in Gent...

Definitely one of the better hotels in Genting Highlands. Staff were friendly, facilities were good, good breakfast served. On-going construction for more hotel blocks on-going, reckon the place will get congested when the hotel goes into ‘full-swing’ with all rooms opened. The road leading to the hotel is only one lane (2 ways), reckon it will get congested too in nea...

The location is ideal as it is near to most attractions in Genting Highlands. The breakfast package was very worthy, I would recommend alone to go for it. The staff were really friendly too, making us felt welcomed. However, the only con is its distance to the parking lot and you'll need to go a whole big round after leaving the carpark to pick up family members back a...

this hotel stay has been a total surprise for us. it all started out with my silly mistake assuming that awana genting highlands golf and country resort is one of the hotels on the summit of the genting highlands. when we arrived at the the summit, we searched around for a hotel by this name, and finally we gave up and approached one of the hotel receptionist in th...

the hotel is near from first world hotel or resort hotel. Its easy to find if U finally know where. but no signboard from genting highland. U must ask any people around the mall to find that. 1st time I came here finally with taxi bcause I dont know where the hotel is. Taxi is hard to find to come your hotel but U must find harder. The good point of this hotel is only...

The Check-In was smooth (Thanks to Patrick from frontdesk, who was patient enough to give all information). The Room was Clean and Spacious, and ofcourse had an Amazing view. Lots of restaurants (Chinese, Japanese, Indian/Arabic, and others) were just one floor above the Main lobby of the Hotel. Casino can also be accessed directly from the Hotel Lobby. In my opinion,...

the standard family room have no fridge. Only the restroom is upgraded and the room condition is a bit old. We got the room with front view of hotel. it is quite nice. The hotel is located within the Gotong Jaya, a lot of non-hala food around the hotel and we love the korean food nearby the hotel. Strawberry farm is just walking distance from hotel. Need to take taxi t...

Resort Hotel is a mid-tier hotel in Genting Highlands. Clean, adequate. Two single beds are super singles. Bathroom has rain shower as well as hand-shower, no bathtub. 2 bottles complimentary water. No free wifi in rooms; only free wifi (good signal) in lobby area. Buy mobile data from digi (in genting sky avenue mall). I used data pack from maxis bought in KL (very ...

We had a very excellent experience in Genting Grand Hotel, this is the most expensive and most luxury in Genting Highlands, the hotel itself don't have much shopping or dining options, but don't worry, you can reach First World Plaza in 5 minutes by walk, and walk inside the building (connected building). The room is fully equipped, the amazing thing is the hotel prov...

Had a good stay at this place, first of all it is in a quiet location and the apartment is very well maintained and clean. Host was also very nice and helpful. It is located about 5 minutes away from the Skyway cable car to Genting Highlands, or you can drive up there yourself. The Skyway is also where the Outlet Mall is, so you can spend half a day shopping there too,...

It was a great stay! Prior to my trip, the fun manager send me all sorts of information I would need via WhatsApp. He/she also check in with us if all was good when we managed to check-in. There's no check-in counter but it wasn't that difficult to find the keys, just follow the instructions will do. My bf and I had quite a bit of fun trying to figure out where the ke...

Pro -Checking in was easy. - owner gave good instructions to access to this apartment -Owner are contactable thru whatapp. -The apartment was spacious & clean -Instant coffee provided - towel provided ( but we dun use them ) - security guard checked - Enough carpark space for visitor - water heater hot enough Cons - realized the main door was actually spoil. the view and the location is perfect! breathtaking green scenery! the owner is so friendly yet good instructions to guide us to access to the apartment. the home is clean, tidy yet comfy. a very pleasant and homely place for a relaxing holiday for big group of family. check in easily definitely will come back for next visit to genting Highland.

Once in the get into the room, is look everything nice. Big room and have a living room with kitchen. Nice location to Genting is around 15~25mins driving. At night a sudden wake up due itchiness, all my family get itchy and even get rash on skin. I believed the bed sheets is not properly clean and disinfection.

The apartment is clean as well as the bed. But the location abit far to Genting Highland about 20minute drive. Driving around 5minute u may see there is some Restaurant nearby and the food price is cheapest than Genting Highland for example 1plate of fried rice cost RM12 and u can't get it at Genting Highland (cost RM20). Parking is free, no WiFi and Air-con (only prov...

Very nice and helpful host, who text me before my arrival and send me the exact location of the apartment. Good if u are driving as it is a distance to Genting uphill. Not within any walking distance to any shops. Apartment is clean but no Aircond, only ceiling fan. Will stay again if I’m driving there....

The location is a bit deep in but easy to find, totally no issue with Google Map or Waze. The home provided 2 queen beds, 1 chair bed and 1 on-floor mattress, well accommodate 6 pax. Provided with refrigerator, microwave, iron and hairdryer as well. Overall worth of money. Good stay though.

This is a new apartment, with security and free parking. A bit hard to get to if you have no car. Clean and spacious apartment, sufficient room for 6-7 pax. Mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, utensils and electric cooker for light cooking if need to. It is very clean too. Its about 20 -30 mins drive to Genting Resorts World. Overall, we love the place.

The hotel outlook is dirty and old. Through the hotel manager, they claimed that the hotel has been rent for foreigner workers as a hostel. We're not to be racist but the criminal record the they did is hardly to persuade us to stay along with them plus there is no safety guards on call and do the round. Please understand if a family stayed there with two small kids an...

The home is located halfway up Genting Highlands, less than 15 mins drive to GPO. It is quite deep in from the exit (about 5 mins drive), but it's good as it makes the place quiet. The unit is very clean and well decorated. Everything placed within the unit is well thought and amenities provided by the host is very thorough. Initially I was sceptical that the unit cou...

Real reviews for hotels
genting is undergoing revamp. i would visit it again when the new 20th fox century theme park opens..
Adults Should go to casinos. Kids should go indoor and outdoor themeparks. You can enjoy cable car, which is still the longest cable car in South East Asia.
Genting Highlands weather is very breezy and cooling, very suitable for people like us who stays under the heat all the time.
you are able to travel alone/ groups/ couples to such place, there is casino for adults, electronic game center for teens, game arcade for children, many different dinning places, shopping for ladies.
Genting highland is a good place in old time. Currently they are doing major renovation, so, not suitable for bring kid as the air is not fresh.
It is one of the best place i ever i stay in my life, a wonderful location and lovely weather, the shuttle service to height and casino all night
One of the attraction in genting highlands is the outdoor theme park. At present there is renovation work going on, outdoor theme park is expected to reopen in 2016.
fresh air and casino...that's all about genting.. but u might enjoy durian and Bakut teh very much coz its cold out there.
Great casino , when the outdoor theme park is finished it will be fabulous . Limited places to drink alcohol .
This place is a full entertainment place for all ages. Spends 1-2 nights is more than enough in Genting unless you want to play casino allday.
Can foresee that GH will become a great entertainment city with the new Fox Theme Park and the new building coming soon.
IT WILL BE AMAZING ONCE THE OUTDOOR THEME PARK IS RE OPEN IN FEW YEARS TIME. FOR NOW, NOT WORTH VISITING
HOPE THERE WILL BE SWIMMING POOLS , SPORT ACTIVITIES.. SPECIAL CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN AND YELL THE WHOLE NITE, MAKE MORE GAMES AND FUNS.
Had to check something in required fields, otherwise would have checked nothing. Now that said, this is a hugely popular resort for Asian families who seemed to be enjoying themselves and the casinos were full to bursting.
Genting has amazing weather, it is cooling and enjoyable. It is especially great to go outdoors for a stroll, if it is super cold and you can bear the cold.
It is convenient to travel around the area thanks to the free shuttle bus service. It is available around the clock with one hour intervals.
Genting highland is a suitable place for relaxing with your fam. cool weather and plenty good food.
Genting highlands is nice to visit as the air is cool & nice. You can visit casino for games. Since the outdoor theme parks are under renovation you still can visit indoor theme park.
A must visit attraction in Malaysia, where the theme park, casino and entertainment city in hill top, cold weather.
Awful concrete monstrosity on top of what was probably once a nice hill. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Try Fraser Hill instead.
Genting is famous with its Theme Park and the only legalize Casino in Malaysia. Apart from that, Genting was fully filled with restaurants, shops and brands outlets, where include other entertainment facilities too.
I would only recommend family trip when the renovation are done, for now nothing much for the kids or adult to do others then casino
It is very beautiful place as it is on the top of the mountain, beautiful view, good cool air, lots of things to do.
Owing to the many development projects around the highland, the place has become hotter. The theme park is undergoing a massive upgrading and it may take some time before it is ready.
No outdoor themepark, many indoor themepark has closed, entrance ticket to themepark is very expensive
Don't go now as there's nothing to do at the moment (unless you want to gamble 7-8hrs) Wait for the much anticipated 20th Century themepark completed.
Genting used to be known for its theme park. Now literally there is nothing. I spent 2 days wandering around since there is no entertainment for adults.
At this moment, this place is most suitable for gamblers. Wait for the outdoor theme park to be ready.
The kids will have more attractions and activities once the amusement park is completed. The current situation is to relax and casino for the adults.
Great place to get away from the hustle bustle of the city. Only about (or less than an hour drive). And one more thing, COOL!!!!
