Birmingham hotels & accommodations

We had an executive room, which gave us access to the executive lounge. This was fabulous value as free drinks and canapés are served from 6-9pm. Rofuto restaurant was very impressive and breakfast the next morning was one of the best we've had at any hotel. It's a bit of a walk to Birmingham New Street, 15 mins or so, but an über taxi cost less than £3.50. I'd put the...

Easy hotel to find. Friendly staff. Clean room (including towels, toiletries). Although designed to be compact, there is still ample room for 1-2 people. Large comfy bed. Free Wi-Fi worked great. Subsidised parking is a fantastic added bonus - saving almost £10. Very pleased with my stay at the Bloc Hotel in Birmingham and will stay there again when I am next there.

We got this hotel very cheap for a one night stop over in Birmingham after a night at the glee club. For the price we paid (less than 30 pounds) we were happy with it, the room was basic but clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit tired and outdated in the corridors etc but for what we paid we couldn't really complain. You get what you pay for...

The hotel has lots of facilities for me to use. One of the highlights of the hotel for me is the taxi that they provide from the hotel. The taxis are Mercedes Benz E-Class and the fare is relatively cheap compare to many other taxi company. For such a big hotel, the staff are very efficient. They very friendly and also helpful. The location is ideal for me because it's...

The hotel, facilities, location are all great. It's a good 4* hotel, has some dated decor but you don't mind it as it fits with the hotel well. The views of the city from the 20th floor are brilliant too. The major let down was the staff. Front desk and housekeeping. We stayed for 2 nights, the housekeeping didn't change the bedsheets, or the complimentary water, tea a...

Very comfortable bed, good shower with plenty of hot water. Kitchen facilities had everything you need, including dishwasher. Parking can be a slight issue as there are limited street parking spaces. Although there is the opportunity to purchase a space at a cost of £10 pn All in all I thought the apartment was excellent value for money and I would definitely stay the...

This is by far one of the best hotels in Birmingham . We visit twice a year and always have a great stay . Front of house staff are wonderful , as are the housekeeping. The Week time breakfast is slightly better than the weekend and i mean only marginally. Best of you prepay when you check in for there's a 3pound difference in price as to if you just strolled down . Co...

This is a great place to stay if you want to see the Jewellery Quarter and other places in central Birmingham. The apartment we had was very nice and a (small) Coop store was close by for food and other basics. StayCity is about 15 minutes walk from the main railway station and 5-10 minutes walk from the Jewellery Quarter.

I was with my family ( all girls and a young child ) checking out from hotel heading to London. We have a few big luggages and shopping begs to carry and we were on our way to the nearest train station. The front desk staff saw us in this situation and in his first intention he showed us short cut by leading us to the back door. This little action has saved us a lot of...

Very clean, good services, friendly staffs and it's located in the centre of Birmingham city centre. I have nothing to say, it was truly an enjoyable stay for three nights in Apart adagio Birmingham! I sincerely recommend it to others, especially for those who travel with children and family trip.

We were looking for a cheaper option than the Hilton for a weekend event at the NEC and the Ibis was the perfect solution. A 5 minute walk to the convention center with disabled access to the exhibition halls. The hotel was about half the price of the Hilton (a 15 minute walk away). Breakfast was included and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms feature every...

Thumbs up! Had a enjoyed stay at Campanile Birmingham Hotel. It is only 5-10 minutes away from the city centre and it's best to drive there. Open spaced parking at the entrance is free. Staff were genuinely friendly. Furnishings were slightly old but very well maintained. Clean towels & linens were provided. Value for money!

probably one of the highest building in the city centre, great view of birmingham. near bullring for shopping and have loads of food and restaurant nearby. 5mins walk from birmingham new street station. kitchen in the room and there are oranges and milk in the fridge, there is a capsule coffee machine as well. Some books and board games can be found near the sofa where...

Located 10 km out of Birmingham City, the Hotel caters for a range of guests. The room I stayed in had a single bed, wardrobe, TV, tea/coffee facilities, bath/shower, toilet, basin. A complimentary breakfast was available on the 2 days that I stayed, with a selection of cereals, toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, tomato, mushrooms and fresh fruit. Tea/coffee/jui...

Really smart hotel, upscale, and perfect for NEC, Genting Arena, Birmingham international Tain station etc. Gorgeous bathroom & shower. And lots of places to eat & shop in the same centre as the hotel (Resort World). Would recommend for solo and couples

We were visiting the Christmas market and wanted to find a hotel close enough to the station and the market itself to accommodate 4 people. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted and the check in process was handled efficiently (love the coffee machine in the reception area). The apartment was lovely, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate lounge/kitchen. The k...

Had a lovely stay in Birmingham, Hotel is really beautiful. I had a standard double room which was very spacious. I was a little disappointed in the small bathroom and felt it didn't quite go with the theme of the room. Also the bed was Huge, but was very uncomfortable and hard and the pillows provided were too soft. I didn't sleep well to be honest. Apart from that It...

We used the hotel as a base from which to go for a meal, drinks and entertainment. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted - good value for money, clean, spacious and central location. The only downside about the location is the noise from outside in the early hours but this was to be expected and doesn't detract from the fact that if we were looking for a place to ...

what a find, this hotel is managed incredibly well, all the staff have a view "can do" attitude. based in the heart of birmingham city in the chinese district, all the shopping you can handle at the bull ring, i left my wife to shop while i attended business at the nec she was overwhelmed with the quality of shops and markets. dinner was a breeze, every style of ...

Our second stay at MacDonald UK is impressive and very enjoyable. This is my first stay at MacDonald Burlington Birmingham, Great Hotel! Unique! Overall service is very pleasant, English breakfast is excellent. This hotel is very suitable to traveller not only business and also for pleasure. It is only 10 minutes walk from new street rail station. It is also is easy to...

December is a frantically busy for all hotels offering festive party opportunities. This year, other diners were catered for much better than previously - well done on listening to my previous feedback. I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay in Birmingham Central Backpackers. Breakfast was healthy and appetising; a choice of fruit, jams and bread including tea or coffee. The staff were polite and sometimes talkative. The bunk beds in the large dormitory are quite old; the metal frame creaks often. Make sure you wear ear plugs! The kitchen, shower room and toilet f...

We enjoyed our stay very much its the perfect location to go to shows at N E C and L G arena also ideal for overnight stay if flying from Birmingham airport. They kept the bar and coffee shop open late so the people coming from the shows could still get a drink. The breakfast was excellent lots of variety also cooked food replaced very quickly so always nice & hot Will...

We are really grateful and thankful to the Receptionists and restaurant waiters that deliver the friendly services once we arrived at Novotel Birmingham International. It was a pleasant stay for us and we enjoyed it! We really would like to come back again!!

If you've read any bad reviews about this hotel, then the individuals who wrote it either have 5 star standards with a 2 star budget, or just like moaning about anything... Stayed here over the weekend with my partner, and had a very enjoyable stay. Staff were friendly and hotel was very clean. Even got a free room upgrade, which was definitely a bonus :) Bed was a tad...

I wanted somewhere to stay within walking distance of the Conservative party conference. Most places were full and after a couple of hours searching found the comfort inn which checked all the boxes. Its an older hotel but was very clean, the staff friendly and served an excellent breakfast. It would be my first choice on a subsequent visit to Birmingham and is easy...

We are regulars at this hotel at it never disappoints. Rooms spacious beds comfortable, spotless, very quiet despite its central location. Staff very polite and friendly. Richard on the front desk is first class! Easy safe secure car park. The best choice for Birmingham or visiting sites close by. Easily accessible from motorways ad road networks.

When I found this place it had a two star review, so my hopes weren't too high, but my expectations were very beaten, the hotel was lovely, staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the room was excellent. The "Handy" phone is also an excellent idea and would help anyone brand new to the area, we didn't have breakfast but passed in the morning, it looked and smelled e...

My two comments are We stayed two nights, breakfast was reasonable. Think it should include bacon and fried eggs but not scramble eggs everyday! Parking :£12 for 24 hours is a good deal, however if the parking ticket could allow unlimited in and out during such period would be perfect for hotel guests.

A well placed hotel staffed by the most helpful people one could imagine. I was offered a double room for the price of a single, which I took. The bed was comfortable, the room contained everything I could want and a minor difficulty was sorted immediately The hotel, which is right beside a number of major bus routes, has a large off road car park safely tucked away...

We arrived at the hotel and booked in fine, a wedding was taking place and we was given a 'Family Friendly' room. Turns out our room was 6 doors down from the bride and grooms... so we had to put up with the drunken party goers running up and down the hallways and shouting as they were overly drunk. Our kids didn't get to sleep until around 10:30PM, after going to bed...

This hotel offers great value as its close to the city (bus stop to the city center within 2 minutes walk) with free parking. Rooms are small but adequate and clean. Breakfast is ok as well. Only problem is the many stairs around the building even to the lifts! Makes it difficult to lug heavy luggage up and down. Otherwise, no major issues. Will stay again if I should ...

I booked and paid in full for a one night stay to attend my Daughter's graduation. On my way to Birmingham I received a phone call to say that the hotel through a "technical issue" was overbooked and they were moving me to an alternative outside the centre. This was not acceptable and I asked them if there was nothing in the centre of Birmingham he said no. To cut a lo...

As evidenced by being a repeat visitor they are obviously doing something right. The general setting and rooms are of a high standard and staff is always keen to help. Coupled with the excellent leisure complex indoor pool sauna and gym the positives are all there. On the downside is the non-existant mobile coverage (but if you want escape it all that's a plus). For bu...

really picturesque setting ( I am not into golf - but imagine it would be heaven if you were) we used the spa facilities , had a lovely meal and hearty breakfast. The room was great.. and very quiet. It was very convenient for NEC - but we would go again , just as a break..

Big room, living room and kitchen. New Street Station is a little distance but not far. It is very close to Tesco, the beautiful Gas Street canal, and the restaurants. Especially Keg & Grill, the Indian restaurant right in front of the hotel is really good. It seems to be a place for people in the neighborhood rather than tourists.

We stayed for the bank holiday weekend. The apartment was very clean, they allowed us to have a late check out and we checked in early as well. It is in an excellent location right next door to the Mail Box. Next time we are in Brum we will defiantly be cooking again!

Absaloutly awful! I come from Teeside which is classed as a very rough part of the country but couldnt wait to get back home! We tried to get on a bus to the city center only for a incredibly rude bus driver to kick us off for not having the correct money (yet the bus provided no change).
There are some good markets near the bullring, both food and clothes. The national express stop is less than 5 mins walk.
Well, perhaps. 3-4 nights of stay in Birmingham will probably be more than sufficient. You can leave a day for Cadbury World, another for Think Tank Museum.
The city is great but will not advice to go during winter time as the day is shorter and the weather is gloomy.
It is a crowded and rather dirty city but it has some fine buildings including the Cathedral (well worth a visit).
Second largest city in UK, clean and tidy. Good for shopping and dining in Birmingham city. Also not far away to outlet (Bicester Village close to Oxford) by driving.
Cadbury world is about 20 minutes drive from the city centre & Warwick castle is about an hour's drive.
Often overlooked, Britain's second city has a lot to offer visitors. The international airport is fast and well connected by regular train services.
its a quiet city but you can meet some interesting people during your stay if you are in a good hotel or hostel.
Birmingham isn't as bad a most people believe. With a migrant population in excess of 30% it's quite colorful.
I visited Birmingham for business purpose only. From the travel brochures, I believe that there are numerous interesting places to visit near the city, e.
